Folks need to stop whining. Its a lovely game, they clearly put a lot of work into it and of course its aiming for a different audience than their usual crowd, but thats ok. Love the bird. And you dont run out of paint unless you mark the wrong square. But you shouldnt be guessing with these puzzles anyways.

Love this game especially when we’ve played through all the weekly releases of all the other Conceptis games. Yes, it’s cutesy and it took a while to get to the challenging levels but it’s a great game! This is the kind of game that will get our young son into logic style puzzles. Thank you, Conceptis!

We have been doing Conceptis puzzles for decades now and this type of puzzle is new to us… Been having a lot of fun learning new strategies. Nice challenge!!!

We love Conceptis – both the website and apps and this is clearly a new direction. The animations and pictures are probably targeted to a younger audience but the puzzles themselves are unforgiving of touch placement on small screens like phones, even with zooming, etc.

Definitely not for young kids. Too many bombs, owl gets annoying. Money spent just to advance in the game. We do like the pictures though. Beware, you can ask for a paint hint and get nothing, waisting diamonds.

Couldnt get to challenging levels. Hope you create same with adults in mind. Love all your app, so disappointed that this basically for young children.

We thought this app would be like your other puzzle apps. We have all of those and play them regularly. We dont like cartoonish characters and adventure stuff. Just the puzzles.

Exact same game as Block-A-Pix, but with annoying mascot and animation. Maybe that appeals to some, but not to us.

This game is clearly aimed at young children, as anyone who is over the age of 14 and/or familiar with their other logic games will find this app tedious and cloying. We love Conceptis and have for more than 25 years, so theyre entitled to a miss now and then. Ill stick with their other apps while Im awaiting app versions of the last few puzzles on their website, which havent yet been ported over to mobile platforms.

We spent more time waiting for the animations to finish than we did playing the puzzles. Not like any of this companys other games, which we generally like.

This game feels really different from the other Conceptis games and Im not a huge fan of the scores or animations and there is no option to select difficulty based on mood. We dont find it as helpful to unwind at the end of the day. There is nothing wrong with this game, but we prefer the original direction of these games. We have almost every conceptis game downloaded and really enjoy the simplicity of design.

Here’s the thing. This app is clearly designed for kids, which in itself is fine and dandy. The first few puzzles are a tutorial designed to help new young puzzlers, and the animations and cheery owl character help keep them engaged. Great so far. Except the amount of "paint" is limited, meaning that any "errors" use up resources. These will replenish over time… Or can be bought with premium currency. In other words, there is an artificial scarcity imposed which pushes the player towards spending real money. That’s the combination that bothers us. An app clearly designed for kids, but which penalizes experimentation by encouraging them to spend money. This app is literally monetizing a kid’s puzzle learning experience. And that is morally foul.

Perhaps this is the developers first foray into the childrens market, so we are not the target audience. But it looks and plays nothing like any other Conceptis game. The idea of solving just a small chunk of the picture over 20 or 30 rounds is interesting, but ultimately too easy. Maybe it gets harder later on, but we gave up after completing the second painting. We also did not like all the animation between rounds. It took longer to display the animation and changes to score, than it did for us to solve the chunk. There are options to turn off sound effects and music, but you still have to sit through the animations. After the first dozen or so times, the animation has outstayed its welcome. We dont really know what the developer is going for in this implementation, but we prefer the thoughtful relaxing games they are already known for, versus games with goofy animation and sound effects, where you are penalized for making a mistake or running out of time. We love Conceptiss other games, but this one is a delete app.

We really want to enjoy the game but the owl keeps judging us while we play.

What an awful release by an otherwise wonderful developer.

If you love Conceptis puzzles you will hate this. Its everything thats wrong with everyone elses puzzles. If Conceptis has their heart set on going in this direction, they should have done it under a new name so as not to taint the Conceptis brand.

Theres a zillion apps out there that are covered in ads and nickel and dime you over everything: clues, an extra few minutes of play, whatever. We have every other game by Conceptis specifically because they dont use that model every other conceptis app has a very reasonable model where you get a certain number of free puzzles, and if you want more you pay for more. No ads, no gimmicks, no surprises. Its a great model! It works! And then theres whatever this is. M Thanks, we hate it. (Not because it has cutesy features that seem to be aimed at a younger audience. Thats fine. Because we dont need a puzzle app tracking private information, and we certainly dont need an app where the amount of money you can spend on in-app purchases has no upper bound, which seems to be the case here.)
