Played this game years ago and forgot about it, remembered it sometime ago and looked for it on the app store but it wasnt there. Remembered it again today and am so happy to see its back on the app store.
When can the app run in the background to collect coins instead of the app always having to be on to work.
Its a really fun concept and Im really enjoying the game, but it just feels like its not cared about and its not refined whatsoever. The sound in this game is atrocious. Every time we click on the screen some sort of jingle or sound effect has to play and its overwhelming and loud. The editing system regarding moving buildings is primitive and really tedious. Please just do a full sweep and try to refine this game. Act like you care.

We love this game insanely the style is so great and the game is super addicting but we just wish there were updates to the game every now and then like some new animals or holiday updates…we just really wish this game got some cool fresh content every now and then otherwise this game is one of our favorite app games ever good job guys.
We used to play this game years ago and was unable to redownload it at some point. We periodically would check just to see if we could ever find it and was really happy to finally see it back in the store! We enjoy making the people and buildings but our favorite part is just moving things around and designing our little town.
Have always loved this game, played it a while back, saw it wasnt on the AppStore for a while and came back one day and saw it, truly an amazing and nostalgic experience.
We downloaded this a while back but it seemed too complicated so we didnt play. Gave it another chance just now and its so good.

Warning about this game. It has ads that are not appropriate for children. The game itself is interesting but slow to develop if you dont want to spend money.
Great to see this game made it back to the AppStore, and a thrill to be able to play it again! We played the first version of this game from the beginning up until it was removed from the store and it was a definite favorite of ours. Our only complaint is the speed at which this game drains our battery because of the frequent cloud auto saving. If we could opt to disable auto save we think that could really help the battery drain and resolve our one big issue (we played game for 3 mins and our battery fell from 80% to 77%, meaning we cant play for long without really draining our phone).
We have been stuck on trying to buy new land for months! Im at the 140 cap, honestly it is too expensive! We cant get enough money to advance, is there a way to make money fast. Also we dont have enough for the legal loophole. Im very upset by this.
This game is amazing, but maybe add a freind function, where you can gift friends money, people, and pets. We play a lot with a freind and we both think a freind function would be cool.
This game is so fun, and you can play it however you want. Until whenever you try to go on the app after for playing the game for 2-3 weeks, it black-screens and crashes. Im on a iPhone 8+ if that matters.
Utopium income never grows but the cost of things that require it and the uses of it do. At around 190 land most of this game becomes waiting on trees to refresh. The concept is so fresh though, we just wish it didnt feel like the developers were so hungry for our money. Would much rather prefer a mandatory 3 dollar pay wall than the choice of micro transactions or a cap of 40 mins of play time a day. Also theres so many more jobs out there but they choose to focus on themes and animals like come on bruh. Bounty hunter, bomb squad, navigator, Madison man, bellhop, there so many more but new jobs come in like one every couple months *They literally removed the effects of the telephone company and arcade which were two supplemental ways to get more premium as you level up. No reason to get rid of these effects other than greediness.
We sent in a bug report months ago. It never got fixed in an update. We had to restart and we lost everything. Really disappointing.
We played this game when we were younger and was really upset when we saw we couldnt download it again but we have been checking every couple months for a few years and finally we can download it again. Thank you, definitely would recommend this game.
Ive been playing this game for a while. And Im addicted. One of the reasons Im so hooked is because its a easy pace game. And there is no time pressure. And we dont have to deal with other players destroying or attacking us. We have used real money to buy a few of the in game items. However we feel the price is super fair. And really helps you expand. Also we love supporting this game. Its worth it! We only have a few wishes/suggestions: we would love to see water as a land option. So we can build it around our boats and certain areas. Yes the water way is nice. But it doesnt let you make lakes. Id like a easier way to delete the older houses that take up room and put in fancier ones. Maybe if you have open house spaces. You can do a relocate to the newest house youve put down? Even if it costs a few pink utopian? We wish there was a pricing between the 7.99 and the 24.99 utopian buys. Its a big gap. Id love to see another road option. Theres only one. Maybe like a brick walkway would be a nice addition. But as we said. We love this game. Enjoy the pixel artwork. And super funny names used for the characters. Thank you.
Pixel People was one of our favorite games back in the day. We were dismayed when we were unable to play it any longer, as it is a game we were willing to spend the time and small amounts of money on. Now its back and we could not be happier to see it. It is as charming and entertaining as ever and is top of the line as far as mobile games go. We cant wait to see whats in store for the future. Also, the update notes are hilarious. You guys rule. Keep up the good work and thanks for bringing happiness in dark times.

UPDATE: we DELETED THE GAME. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS GAME. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This is the second time this happens. Our coin count was at 5M+ and we purchased 2 Rocky Mountain mansions, then our coin count dropped down to 700k?? These mansions are only 10k a piece. What the heck?!? Devs whats going on.
Awesome game we love it but please please bring back the casino and arcade, it was the best part of the game and now it takes years to level up ):.

Yall arent gonna mention this was a game a while ago and it was made into a newer one or am we late for the hype train? This game is the most fun Ive had in a while and we cant stop playing it. Theyve made the game fun and addicting and Im glad to see it playable on the App Store.
We originally saw our cousin playing this game and since then we have been addicted. Ive erased and redownloaded this game many times because of storage but its is amazing and fun! Easy to get into. We were really weirded out for a while because the game was taken off the App Store but its back so.
Ive always enjoyed world building type games and we actually really like the concept and art style of this game. We really like the gene splicing and trying to create every type of worker the game has. And also that you completely move around and reorganize your town at any time Is a huge plus. But to the reason we give this three stars. After a few days of playing it the waiting game for buildings to be built and especially for your money to generate high enough to expand so you can keep making new people gets to be way too long and tedious. Unless your willing to fork out real money this game gets really boring really fast because theres nothing to do but check on your town a few times a day and wait. If the waiting and grinding werent sooooo long Id definitely give this game a higher rating.
Ive been replaying this month before this weeks update. We were doing pretty good. It doesnt really explain what Chroma is. Its not clear how much you have. Im pretty sure we did an expedition and did not receive credit, but since we dont know how much we started with Im not sure. Whats REALLY annoying is NOT being able to rotate through the Quests/Expeditions. You used to be able to do that for free. Now it charges you. We wish we would have known that bc thats where we were trying to figure out what Chroma was. Also, Im on level 36 bc we put some money into this game. But Im early 1440 a sec. Which means we wait WEEKS to upgrade new jobs or expeditions, or the sea port. We think 25U from the trees is fair, but the money does NOT match we have to save up. One job Im doing is 240 million. Im not a math genius, and we have to constantly click on things but Im going to guess Days to weeks. Im a recovering addict. We dont have days or weeks. We want it NOW. You need to make the money more fair. Or people get bored. Bored=no money.
First off, we love this game. We played this way back when it was taken off the Appstore (it broke our heart for about a day). When we came back, we found a better version of the game with slightly more micro transactions (gotta make the money some how). We guess what Im trying to say is we love this game! We just have one suggestion… What if you made it there was a sandbox mode? Automatically all the professions are found, you have infinite money and gems (forgot what they were called) and every building unlocked? Ill leave it to you guys. We know that somehow someway youll improve the game with or without our suggestion.
Big fan of building and idle games. This game is more focused on finding combos of new people than the mechanics of building – however, full fun with moving, arranging, coloring and designing your town. This far, no intense need to pay IAPs, and though available mostly just speed items. Colorful cute art and entertaining combos to create new people. Very fun.
Love the game. Played it years ago, went back to play and when we did, it was removed from the App Store and then eventually came back. Confused why some features are missing? Trading animals feature is gone, which makes it significantly hard to get animals you need for missions. We think it would be beneficial to change how the random animals thing works. Its really hard to complete missions when you need a dragon and spend all day popping hearts for chickens. The only real downside to the game in our opinion is the fact that animals are hard to obtain. Also, claw game feature is gone and apparently you used to be able to put clones in the altar to move them around for housing? Would love some insight on this. Overall very satisfied, very difficult not to spend money when you just want to do as much as you can at once. Very addicting.
We love the idea of the game and the first few levels are so fun. The fun disappears pretty quickly when it takes so long to get enough coins to buy 10 pieces of land. Why would the cost of land double in one level?!? It will soon take us a week to get 10 pieces of land…this makes it hard to stay engaged.
It was fun for us for a few weeks. It has the same downfall many other games have for us and thats that it just doesnt hold our attention after some time. Did you get the idea of the game pretty quickly? Well not much else changes. And that thrill, the wonder what could come next, what will we unlock, keeps us going. And eventually we just become numb to the gameplay that a new job or building isnt enough. So we guess we mean to say, it doesnt hold any long term interest but its fun if you want a game to play for a bit and then delete.
Hooks you at the start, then progress grinds to a halt without premium currency. Exponential expansion costs with linear coin gains. Coins gain during away time is negligible since you have to constantly refresh buildings.

We never write reviews but Im actually obsessed with this game!! Once we got the hang of things it got so addicting!! We love the concept, the art style, the music, the customization of the town, truly everything! You can tell the developers put a lot of love and passion into this just from gameplay. Cant wait to see continued growth.
We have played this game off and on since 2013 and have genuinely enjoyed every minute, every hour of playing so far! It started off with us trying to find a fun game to play on the school bus in middle school, and now years later both our kids play it too. We have restarted on different devices over the years and it truly never has gotten old. We know a lot has happened with the original parent company, but you can tell just how much zest everyone who worked on this game put in it. We never wrote reviews, but we had to for this one! Thank you guys for making such an awesome app game.
Top three mobile game of all time and its not two or three.
We have been playing this game since 2015 (stopped playing after we changed our phone) but now Im back! Love this game. Such a great game. Not complicated but now its harder to earn utopium.
Lol, our older brother and we have been playing mobile games since mobile games became a thing. We both agree that the best games on mobile scratch a certain itch. Im writing this review just to say that pixel people was a lot of fun for us, and Im about to recommend it to our brother too. Free to play, been at it for over a week. Spent 2$ on it and thats a lot for us, Im a cheap bastard! There are over 450 jobs in game btw, we saw the banner on here said 150 and we think thats outdated. Thanks devs.
We have been playing since the game came out. We would sometimes drop it but eventually we always came back. Just collected the last the clone and am hoping there is another update with more clones in the future. The humor and creativity of the designers is top notch. We grew up with this game and cant thank the designers enough for their hard work. This game brought us joy on hard days.
Im a grown adult and this game is shockingly, addictively fun. Very well made, the developers clearly had fun with it and it shows in the product. No ads at all unless you want them. Truly the perfect idle game that rewards you for playing. Paying to play is optional and not necessary. There is depth to everything in the game and the more you play, the more characters and buildings and customizable town mechanics youll unlock! Check out the wiki for help when starting out.

We have and phone we used to play this game on and we got a new phone. We wish you could transfer the data so we dont have to restart everything.
Ive played this in the past but started again and now realizing how deep the game is. Very interesting when you get far enough to start thinking about land management and pet splicing.
We had so much fun with this game when it first came out. We remember thinking periodically that nothing really got our attention quite like this phone game. All the collectible gene splices and animals (cat in a box!) are so adorable. Definitely worth the 5 stars. Thanks for bringing this back.
We first played this game when we were little, we are now 20 and rediscovering it with new eyes and we love it all the same. This game is perfect if you have adhd and just need an idle sensory game. Please keep adding to it and ill keep on playing it.
We were really disappointed when we found out they discontinued this game as it was definitely one of our favorites so glad to see it back on the App Store.
Love, love, LOVE this game but we miss the online features where you could visit your friends towns! Would really like to see this return in a future update.
