A Glimpse into Planet Wars
Planet Wars is a top-down alien shooter with unique hand-drawn graphics, exciting action & strategy gameplay and completely customisable weapons!
Simple customisable controls make the game easy to pick up and play.
Play through the 10 mission campaign, with beautifully illustrated graphic novel style story panels. Missions range from offence to defence missions- upon which you can build a base to stop the alien horde.
There is also a survival mode with 6 maps, where you destroy wave after wave of incoming aliens. Compete with local and global (gamecenter) high scores.
Earn in-game money with every battle you fight, or even achievement you earn. You can spend on upgrading your weapons by buying different components. There are 7 different upgradable parts, this means you can completely customise your gun and armour to suit your style of play.
There are over 70 different items and components in the game with which to do this; including 17 core weapons which range from standard rifles to flame-throwers and rocket launchers: Make a fast firing sniper rifle with exploding rounds or a deadly powerful shotgun with a bayonet for close encounters!

This is a great game. Well written good art the right pacing for upgrades and challenges. The only problem was we didnt want the story to end.

Great game but we would love it if you added a multiplayer survival mode and some other content like more abilities and aliens. Other than that the game is perfect!
This game is a hidden gem but it would be SOOO FUN if we had multiplayer and maybe some more enemy variety. Other than that 10/10 5 stars.

What we really like is the entertaining detail they put in the description of each weapon. It needs more updates, or even better a sequel, where they add up more features.
Very individualized guns. The way you build your gun affects your gameplay. One comment though, we would like a magazine and a bipod without having to switch one another.
This game is really good but Xbox 360 one is better at least you can play multiplayer can you please cause gamecenter supports 4 players and you put gamecenter support on the awsome game but we hope you don’t give up too soon.

Dear Cole-Powered Games, Planet Wars is the best Shooter-Strategy indie game ever made, Its like Starship Troopers meets Angry Birds. Well done, but however, recent reports of glitches & bugs in this game, must be taken into account. When we play a level in either Main Campaign Mode or Survival Mode, the game both freezes and crashes, please fix this terrible in-game flaw. Please also enable the support for Bluetooth/IOS7, D-Pad Controller Hardware, in the Option section within the Main Menu screen. Including this new option will give players a better choice in which way they would like to play the game, without having to only rely on a touch screen controller, known as Control Sticks. We pray you’ll have the chance to take care of this big problem that the game Planet Wars is facing. Thank You and Good Luck!
We love this game! We wish there were more games like this! We love how the game looks drawn, but well drawn, we also love the enemies you face, and the set up you given; in some levels to defend from enemy hordes. Love the weapons and abilities you get if you want, we have just beaten the game hope they come out with a new version and keep the same format, and fighting style, but with more aliens and maybe with new units, and be able to play co-op with a friend! That would be the best! Wish there were more games like this! Thanks for the great game!
But… Can have improvements like co-op or vs. Or multiplayer survival.
We love this game the multiple gun combinations all the way down to the turning point in the last 3 levels. Our only problem is that after the 214 wave in ice base survival, all the enemies stopped spawning so we had to exit. And the worst part: we were credited with nothing! We earned over 30,000 credits just to have it taken away!
There’s one glitch that doesn’t give us any credits for kills with the railgun.
This game is great, the sprites are well drawn and work perfectly. Gameplay is intense and fun and is a great time killer. We have had this game for about a week now and we have not gotten bored yet, and we have ADHD! Things we think you should add though, More maps to play on, like a Forest or Volcano map. You should also add more things to use to build your base, like mounted turrets you could use( you have to pay credits to use) and more AIs. You could also make the maps bigger to include more walls. We also think you should have more customizable parts, such as customizing your AI partners tool box so you can make the ultimate Bug killing team. Also possibly Vehicles? (although we know that is a big stretch so :P) we are also glad to be your first reviewer. If you were to stop changing the game now, we would be fine. (Although incredibly sad, we would still play) Oh yeah and before we go, maybe in the far far future, co-op survival?
Everything is very good. But need co-op, campaign should be longer, more types of aliens and it will be nice if our character will looks different with different equipment. Thank you very much!
Good game but after or close too wave three hundred it crashes as a result our highest score was recorded at forty five thousand (top20) but really we had close to sixty thousand and the monsters stop coming completely this happened a handful of times and we’re a little disappointed cause instead of being too twenty we could be top five or one we mean we went to fifty k without loosing one troop or sand bag but then monsters stop coming and it so frustratingly sad so we won’t be playing this anymore :(
Cartoon graphics, sluggish controls, and low health.. Even the tutorial is a pain.
So this overall a fun game except it refuses to us play our music, which is downright silly because we never encounter another app that does that.
We gave two stars for effort. This game is really slow moving and a boring shooter. We honestly wouldn’t recommend.

We wish we can change the color of the troopers and play online and it should be upgrading the troops and needs more guns,armor,and Troops too buy like juggernauts and troops that’s all.
We live it yeh multi would be awesome but we think updates with new missions maps guns and additions to guns tht would Be nice like to see updates in the future and if they made this into a zombie game dope!!!!

We’re too lazy to write many reviews, but this one felt like it deserved one. The graphic novel element was really cool. The weapons and power ups are great. Game play is smooth and fun. Most of all, we really dug the art. Two thumbs up! We just beat the main storyline, and now heading back for survival mode play. Bravo!
This is a pretty cool game but it would be nice if there was an update for a multiplayer online match of survival campaign or even an 4v4 online match.
Great game for the price. Theres room for some improvement (maybe in a sequel…), but the developer is definitely onto something big. Get It!
