Community Insight:

There should be one micro transaction to donate to the developers more money (with no gain in the game of course) because we want to participate in funding more games like this from them.

In our opinion, one of the greasiest mobile games OAT. There are so many features, your creativity is maxed in this game. Truly amazing.

No in-app purchases, no ads, no grind, just a fun city building experience.

Make a purge event but if you want dont.

We love this game and can get stuck playing it for hours!!our only critic is we wish there were more building design options and roads choices some roundabouts or slip lanes would be cool. Overall 10/10 recommend.

Ever sense the shutdown of The Simpsons Tapped Out Ive been looking for a new fun city building game, and we happened to have this, and its our new favorite game.we love the sandbox option, interesting characters, customizable mayor, driving, free roam, research all button, and graphics, there the most amazing graphics ever, not realistic but not super cartoony.we sometimes pretend to be a car thief in it and catch ourselves,we mean we are a kid.the skyscrapers are awesome and so are the houses. In the original you couldnt hit the style button and it would take us a long timebut not anymore!we only have 3 suggestions: 1 add a version of the DeLoreian from back to the future as a fast car, 2 be able to rotate screen(but not like Theo Towns rotate) And 3 if you could please add a version of Dennis Nedrys Jeep from Jurassic Park. Thanks for a awesome game and something to do on a rainy day(so we cant go outside) and when its cold inside(so we cant do legos because Im in a blanket) Thanks!!!!!!!! The amazing Marty McFly.

This is one of the best mobile games Ive ever played. Though we have one suggestion, if the game could earn money and simulate offline this would be the greatest game of all time.

A zombie apocalypse outbreak when ur level 9 this games is fun not just for us our mom our dad our son and our daughter we all love this game keep up the good work.we like how you can fish too.

We really like that you can play and walk in the city. We like the graphics and the diversity of things you can build, you must try this game. We tried sandbox mode first and we are very impressed. Even crazier is that ONE person build the entire game! Props to the dev.

Easily the best city building game on IOS.

This is by far our favorite city building game that we bought, it just keeps us coming back for more.

We purchased this game based on reviews and we honestly it was too good to be true. Only for us to get baffled at it, a literal OG game dressed as new one. For 4.99$ you get such a good experience ad free and no micros transactions. Id like to personally thank the devs from the bottom of our heart for this beautiful game. If only all mobile games were as good as this one. A throwback to good mobile games back when devs thought of creativity and innovation instead of ads and microtransactions.

Like the subject says. Game Center achievements. Much like steam achievements and stuff you should give us iOS game center achievements. Please.

We are really blown away by how well this was thought out there are a few things we ourselves a video game developer in the making do see a bit of things that could use some upgrades we can also see a Collab with BitLife from the building aspect to the free roaming and etc. We feel like this game can honestly consume a lot of our times a great alternate from the Sims franchise, although we would love to see more life simulating things in this game, like a character design we do love how open and full it already is highly recommend if youre a person with anxiety and eat something chill to play or youre looking for an alternative from the Sims. Really great job with the app worth the five dollars.

Great game! We always end up coming back to it. We miss games without microtransactions and this game takes us back to the good ole days.

There are no ads, no gimmicky in-app purchases, no annoying forced waiting to make you spend money. To us, thats so worth the price of the game. Ive spent quite a few hours playing and theres still a ton to do. Its really cool that you can walk or drive around the city, go into buildings, and even get a pet and decorate your house. We do wish there were more variety of looks for buildings, but Im sure it takes a lot of animation to add them.

This is a great game for $5 and we would totally reccomend it. The only thing we would request for the Devs to add is hills and mountains that we can build on.

So the first Pocket City game gave us the freedom and creativity we crave. We love building and simulation games. So we have a good size collection of Sim and Building games. This is the best! The best of the best! We havent played our other games because this game gives us everything we want. This puts the sleepy Pocket Building and others to shame.

For creating a fun, well paced game that doesnt include in app purchases. The value is there.

Pocket city 2 has improved on basically everything from the first game. The biggest update has to be the move to 3D and progression system. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a city builder on mobile. NO MICROTRANSACTION AS ALL!!! 10/10.

Theres an issue where the parliament with only display a black screen.

This game was exactly what we were looking for! A city builder where you can also be an individual and interact with the city. It scratched a lot of itches but we do have a wishlist/ideas to slow down progression and also cater to people who like a slower grind such as ourselves. Construction building: can be placed and has a crew that you can assign to work on new structures. The more crews you have, the more buildings that can be built at the same time. More interactions from free roam mode such as arresting criminals, fire extinguisher to extinguish fires, helping injured civilians and repairing roads. We understand you can do these things from builder mode but Ive yet to come across any of these interactions in free roam. The concept is really cool but so far Ive only been able to loot crates and walk into businesses. We also wouldnt mind an optional mini game for manually gathering resources in free roam These ideas come from a place of love and not criticism. We love your game and Id love to keep playing it but after only about a day Im running out of space on our map and things to do. Thank you guys.

Started a sandbox city a while back with quest disabled and Ive been unable to get certain relations because of it. Great game just wish we had the option to turn it back on or at least copy our city over to a sandbox save with it enabled.

We love city builders so Im biased. Ive been looking for a legitimate mobile version in the vein of sim city for a long time. This one does not disappoint. The level of complexity and diversity of gameplay is actually very deep. The ability to go into buildings and interact with the inhabitants is something we wasnt expecting! Our only negative thus far is not being able to turn off the roads needing repairs. Kind of a tedious thing. Thanks Devs for making this happen!!! Keep it up! There is so much depth to the game, however, your city becomes very repetitive and needs more variation in architecture. All the city kinda meshes together with the same buildings on every block.

This game is so good. If you want to play a city builder but dont have access to a computer or you just want to have one on your phone, Id recommend this one. For $5 you can skip all of the microtransactions and waiting prevalent in the F2P city builders. Theres city management in this game, its not just a city painter, and it runs great for our iphone 16 on the highest settings. The free roam option is so underrated. When Im playing a city builder, we always think about the way it would feel to walk around the city and experience it as a citizen, and you can very directly do that in this game! We find the mini games endearing, and theyre fun to break up the normal gameplay every once in a while. You can make the cities quite large for a mobile game. We have a few suggestions in case the devs happen to read this. Id love more assets for buildings, especially regular zoned buildings, since having different styles breaks up monotony and feels more realistic. The zone demands also need a little balancing, which we think might be fixed by adjusting how many people each building serves. It feels like the balance in the beginning of the game before upgrades is 1/3 each residential, commercial, industrial, but we all know real life cities are much closer to 70 residential, 20 commercial, 10 industrial (approximately) than to an even split. When you add commuters, it gets even weirder. Our commercial demand is maximum, but Ive zoned like 60% of our city to be commercial. All in, this doesnt really matter since there arent many consequences for ignoring zone demand, but it does feel off. Research balance also might need to be reevaluated, some of these upgrades are stupid powerful. Finally theres a bug where the game lets you enter the parliament building, but its just a black screen. Anyway, we love this game.

Was literally just thinking about how much we love this app and was going to rate it five stars and then our city crashed and when we reopened the app it completely reset us. Looking into it we guess this has been an issue for years and years and theres no solution our city is just gone. Ive never had this happen to us with a game especially one that we paid for. Don't want to play it anymore becausw it happens with manual saves too so there literally no telling when the app cna crash and delete the whole thing.

We love this game and we can be on it for hours but after so long it becomes repetitive. Same buildings same stats we would love it if it became more in-depth. Awesome Game.

LOVE this game so much, its so much fun and we really appreciate all of the hard work that has gone into it. Thank you to the developers for continually updating this game!! We did have a few update ideas we wanted to share! It would be so cool if the Mayor role had more functionality (kinda like setting the tax rates.) Essentially just ways our decisions can affect the citys economy/mood/etc. Maybe even more government options too! It would also be cool if regional cities played more of a role, like imports/exports, cities being dependent on each other. Lastly! More building designs :) That is all! Thanks so much again.

We LOVE playing in the sandbox in this app, only thing is we wish we had the ability to add fish to the water when you rework the landscape on a map (and other options under nature). Still five stars, love that you buy it then dont have to deal with pay-to-play or pay-to-advance in-app purchases :).

Great game. Love it when there is no ads, no extra costs for anything. Absolutely worth $5. Just wish they can add more different types of buildings. And hope we can see the screen in different angles.

We love this game! BUT They should really consider adding a dark mode for the UI. AND back arrows when in build mode. We also noticed that its difficult to manage the camera when building roads. So that could be improved as well. Great music, graphics, sounds, and gameplay! We love how you can switch between landscape and portrait as well.

We woulda gave this a five star IF THE CARS werent bugging every two seconds other than the cars and traffic being very buggy this game is exemplary.

This would be one of our favorite mobile games if it had iCloud saves. Not being able to play between devices is a bit of a letdown. The upload/download feature doesnt cut it. Otherwise, this game is still the best city builder on mobile.

Its nice, but there are a lot of gaps, and it feels like more could be done. Like its frustrating we cant rotate our view when Im in city mode, harder to design and see things. Also we also wish there were more design options and creative freedom. Plus, once we place a mountain, we cant seem to demolish it. And during the winter, its hard to see anything so we cant really build or do much still the snow goes away.

Pocket City 2 is a fantastic city-building game that improves on its predecessor in many ways. The freedom to design and manage a city is addictive, and the addition of features like an open-world feel and interactive gameplay makes it stand out. However, there are a few things that hold it back from being truly great. One of the biggest issues is the map size. The current limits make it difficult to build a large-scale city, and it quickly feels cramped. Expanding the map would allow for more creativity and better long-term gameplay. Another issue is with desert areas and water mechanics. Right now, when you introduce water into the desert, nothing really happensit stays barren. It would be much more immersive if irrigation slowly transformed the land instead of leaving it lifeless. There are also a few features that could use serious improvements: 1. Realistic Cars & Traffic The way vehicles behave is too basic. Traffic should be more dynamic, with realistic congestion and better pathfinding to make cities feel alive. 2. Physics Overhaul The game world feels too static. Adding better destruction mechanics, road interactions, and more natural movement would enhance immersion. 3. Graphics & Visuals While the game has a charming art style, it could use better lighting, smoother animations, and higher-quality textures to make cities feel more detailed and alive. Overall, Pocket City 2 is a great game, but with these improvements, it could be even better. Hopefully, future updates address these issue.

Great game loved it!built a lot and inspired us to become a builder in IRL but the only down side is sometimes your money starts to lose and you become poor.and there is no money button or at least not that visible for us.but delightful experience love it love to build and free roam the streets we love to also create mayor outfits love really recommend it.

We Need a level 3/4 resident buildings so we can hold more people in one building.

Love building cities but why cant we rotate the camera, and why is there a big dollar sign icon on things like stadiums and airports? Just let us see the entire cit with a clean aesthetic. Theres no need for us to click on the dollar to see our earnings.

Love this game and loved the first version too, but it freezes often and crashes a lot. We cannot even create a new sandbox city with the island, the game crashed 4 consecutive times of trying. The bigger our city gets, the more often the game crashes.

We had a city taking up a full 77×77 map but then half the city got deleted.

Horribly glitchy on iPad. The circle control to move vehicles or yourself will move halfway off the screen, so you cant turn left. The camera view when flying will spin in a circle even if you dont touch anything. The high rails disappear. The options to visit places like the police station or pet adoption clinic disappear. We either have to refresh the app or click on the person through the mayor tab to visit them. This app was once really good and we still love it. But it is frustrating.

We really like this game but there are barley any enterable buildings which makes the game really bland after a while and survival mode has the opportunity to be fun with the fast pace and challenge but it feels really unfair and pretty much impossible to get any of the unlocks in survival mode we do love free roam and the wide range of buildings that can be built but for a 5 dollar mobile game we expected a bit more detail really all we want is for survival mode to be slightly less strict with time and the airport, mega airport and mega mall to be enterable that would make the game way more fun, great and fair then it already is in our opinion.

No objections. If you love city building this one tops even the best ones on PC in our opinion! We are glad that we found this game and the best of all, is that its just one time payment.

We saw a lot of reviews saying the mini game was buggy, and we were thinking that cant be a big deal. That was until we realized that quests are often based the mini games. We would love for the game to expand as well. More building options, etc.

Great game! You should know if we set the money transfer to max it doesnt reset to zero, or check if the amount in the source city is negative after the transfer. So we can send max money twice, leading to a negative balance at the source city.

We have never played a mobile game so much in our life and its not even close. Ive beaten survival mode on extreme 50 times at least, but even then we impose our own restrictions to make it harder! Its an extremely fun sandbox, and thanks to the portrait orientation and bottom right aligned UI, this game has excellent accessibility. Im still so surprised that most mobile games dont do this. Playing with one hand is great and much more flexible than two. Its hard to play a two handed game while laying down for example. We saw a review saying the UI was bad and as a UI designer we can confidently say its excellent, some of the best Ive experienced, so props to the dev for that. Regarding gameplay, its just so much fun. Whats kept us playing this game nearly everyday for since launch is the creative control that we hold over our city. We can explore layouts, themes, biomes, and more. For us, it doesnt really get boring, and because there are so many options to explore, this game maintains higher-than-average replayability. Changes Id love to see in the future, or on Pocket 3: 1. Expansive building designs/architecture styles to go for different themes, alongside customization of colors 2. More foliage types to expand on those themes 3. Higher ceiling of upgrades levels, even if the cost is crazy high. 4. More types of farming/resource creation e.g. Chicken eggs, milk, electrical components, paper, 5. Better balancing for resources 6. Upgrading resource buildings to increase capabilities and output. E.G. What if initially, only soft-woods like pine would farmable, but then hardwoods became farmable after upgrades? 7. Commercial zones have better balancing and more capabilities. Ive noticed that commercial zones are very un-optimal in nearly every way, and theres nearly no benefit to choosing them over industrial besides pollution output and aesthetics. In survival mode, theres no reason to use commercial zones whatsoever. They cost 3x, offer less jobs, and sales tax is the least money-making form of tax for the most part. What if commercial zones werent a criteria to meet, but access to resources in general, like groceries, hardware, etc.

Actually a fully featured, fantastic city builder for mobile. We wouldnt change a thing, we would play this on desktop.

We wish their where more ways to customize and make the world truly your own.

Codebrew Games Inc. Please respond to this message. We wish you could add other cars that you can spawn like a police car, firetruck or and ambulance and also can you add? A ambulance, helicopter, From Jaxston.

This is exactly the type of game Ive been waiting for. Relaxing build your own city action you can actually explore. Nothing too overly difficult and confusing. Its simplistic and technical at the same time. And no micro transactions. Thank you sir for this game, looking forward to updates.
