We like this game a lot been playing for a few years. Our one request is that there is a larger plane that is able to land in class 2 airports. Or the ability to upgrade the class of the airport. This is because there is only 3 class 3 airports in the USA and Id love to do more flights in the USA but its not feasible with the small number of big airports.
We have been occasionally playing (the only way to play) for a couple months now. This is a great little strategy game with airplanes – we love airplanes – Im an aerospace engineerso this is the perfect thing to do when not working. You can play without spending any money, so this should totally be a top free app. But its good to support the devs and enjoy the perks, so spend your coffee money sometimes. A couple suggestions: please make cities grow larger than 10m – proportional to their real populations ideally. Consider programming a way to automate some flights so their can be idle earning – it would be cool to have domestic fleets that automatically service continent interiors as well as international fleets that can be actively managedthe domestic fleets would have user-preprogrammed routes and would generate idle income, and then the international fleet would require inputs.. What do you think?
We originally downloaded tiny tower and we loved it so much we wanted more games by the same creator and found pocket planes! Definitely our favorite game on our phone.
Played this game a lot about ten years ago so its nice to see thats its not only still up but theres newer stuff. Good stuff.
We love this game. It allows you to sit there and play for hours, even if your planes are up in the air. It is a very enjoyable game that we cannot get enough of. We wish there was a way to create multiple saves, which would be our only suggestion, but this game is really good and we love it!
Alaska has a low population but the Anchorage International Airport is worthy of at least a class 2 rating.
Wonderful game, play it all the time, but please please change the app cover it is terrible.
Playing the pocket trains game we noticed that planes lost and found cost $10 where trains costs $5 which makes no sense, also in trains you can gain more bux per level (you can get 10x more in trains) Also we feel like theres some potential for a combination of the two where trains and planes can work together to transport cargo including multi continents. We think a game like that would be a better app instead of switching between the two apps.
Had Pocket Planes and Tiny Tower installed for years collecting dust on our phone and stopped playing since they stopped updating their games but we’re glad they’re back. Keep the updates coming. Also, active community on reddit.
Theyve just resurrected this game, and at the perfect time but there is still no way for planes to travel the Pacific Ocean between East and West hemispheres. Its sad to have to take the long way to travel, say, Tokyo to LA.
We do indeed love this game but to get higher ranked planes is just an extremely long process and some of the plane models just feel shortened to much, like there version of the 747 and a380.
We loved playing this game years ago and would have happily paid for extra things to help out the devs after so much play time. But $40 for VIP? $10 for a one-time lost and found grab? These prices are ridiculous for both this game and for Pocket Trains. No updates and high prices scream cash grab for a forgotten game by the devs. Wish theyd come back to it with updates and fair prices.
After a certain point it takes a week to get new airports. When you get to a high level you can only buy 2 more airports which isnt enough. We have almost $200,000 that we cant spend.
App Store says we first downloaded this in 2012. Our son and we loved playing it together when he was little. We recently downloaded it again for a little nostalgia, and was blown away that the VIP offer costs $40 where the Global Event leaderboard only has 1 spot – us. No internal community, plagued with ads, and still the same game from 10 years ago. We wouldve gladly paid a dollar for perks that affect absolutely nobody but us, but $40, no way. So much for the good ol days.

This game system is NOT GOOD! We dont like having a limit to the number of planes you can have. We’ve tried playing it, but its just not fun enough. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS IF YOU WANT AN ENTERTAINING GAME.
We would like so see a way to get rid of layovers to towns that we have sold, which just sit in an airport waiting for us to buy the airport again and fly them there to get rid of the red x. Other than that, this game is fantastic and we receive endless enjoyment. We have played pocket planes off and on through multiple devices around 7 or so years, we love it every time we download it on to a new device and recommend it to everyone we meet. Please keep updating this game and giving it the attention it deserves because it really is the home run of mobile games. Nimble bit really knows how to make good games and we will show our support until the bitter end. Cheers!
Not getting notifications, cant find the app in notifications on either device.
Been searching for several months for this game and am SO glad we found it! We dont get notifications for the flight arrivals though dont see it in our notification settings either. Kinda weird. Only reason for -1 star. If anyone can help, Ill happily bump to 5!

We personally love this game, and anybody reading this review should definitely try it out. It has a very simple design and includes some more advanced elements for those more willingly invested into the game. We played this game years ago and we are thrilled that they have finally started releasing updates for it again so that it is playable on newer devices! We hope that they keep updating and improving on it; maybe adding more cities or tweaking the safe bounds for the UI on newer devices. All in all, amazing game!

Been playing this game for 9 years, different phone and multiple lost accounts. Truly a easygoing or hardcore game which is entirely based on the person playing it. You can either grind out or so slowly progress either way very simple and elegant gaming experience. We like the new updates. We would like to see some new cities or something that add a little bit detail so the game is not repetitive (not to make things complex) but just a little something.
Im glad to see that Nimblebit is still giving this masterpiece of a game attention. Keep up the good work!

This game is almost perfect, but an update around 3-6 months ago has made it worse, before then, there were less colors to choose from for your plane, but at least they labeled it, now theres more colors, but you have no way to see what the name of the color is, or something else that can differentiate the colors from the sometimes very similar colors to one another. So this game is absolutely great, dont get us wrong, but the new plane color system really needs updating. Edit: we feel its unfair that you have to do 1000 jobs to an event city for 15 bux, thats an awful reward.

Its very neat seeing your airline go from one plane in a country of your choice to multiple planes in different countries all over the planet. Setting planes flight plans and cargo/passengers destinations adds another level of fun. Its slow at first but thats what we’ve loved the most about this game. Planning which parts for which plane to build is rewarding and fair too. Some suggestions!: Naming your airliner, having more camera control when spectating/watching your plane move between destinations, when clicking on coins or cash while spectating/watching a plane the amount earned is bigger or near where the coin/cash is. OVERALL an unexpectedly addicting game that we’ve convinced two coworker friends to download this game and they love it too.

It became less fun (as in boring) after multiple updates as the video ads either has problems loading or kept launching app store when you want to exit.
Please revert to the pixelated plane. It fits the game so much more.
There are some points of the game that we wish they would have added like leveling up the class of an airport.
This is about the terrible ads now being shown. After the ad plays, you tap on the X in the upper corner to close the ad, it takes you to the app store. There is no way to get back to the game to properly close the ad to get the reward. You have to close the app and restart it, which means you lose the reward. This is new and it SUCKSso we have quit with this game until the devs fix the issue.

The 25% increase in coins and bux is not working. For example if a job is 4 bux, you should get 5 bux but it is not happening. Please fix this bug! (It does work for coins).
Another one of those tap here, upgrade that, tap this – type of game that is just a hype about nothing but the next upgrade. The App Store is flooded with these type of games, dont fall for this one.
New ads are clickbait, they dont allow you to exit out of the Ads when they are over and reroutes you to the App Store. This causes you to have to close out the game and you do no receive the reward The Angry birds ad does this and many others. Developers need to vett the ad process because its scams the users for ad revenue.
The game offered 25 in game bucks for watching videos (Royal Match to be specific) that you cannot exit from unless you close the app and then the offer disappeared! You watched the video and no reward for doing so… What a crazy way to force ads onto people.
We love this game so much! We used to play it a long time ago and then stopped and now started playing it again! Its so fun and deserves 5 stars.

This was our favorite mobile game a year ago or so until we misplaced our phone and we just came across the game again when we were trying to download an app so downloaded it again to our surprise the game has been updated! That should be a good news right? Well we guess we were wrong The new update made the game more difficult than it was we are not really a fan of difficult or extravagant games we like simple games with simple graphics So please if you happen to see this review please make it easier to get class 3 planes and other stuff we are a no 1 fan of nimble games we have played every game of nimble games on App Store except the frog game cause we dont like frogs and our favorite nimble games is pocket planes and pocket train.
Im stuck on only three cities, Denver, St. Louis and Winnipeg. We have maybe 90 coins and 0 bux. Im Level 8. We’ve been play8ng for 8 days. We need help.
The game itself has been amazing for the last 7 years. However we HATE the new update on colors for the paint in the planes. The colors have become dull and no longer fit with the previous colors we use.
We dont understand how to play. How can we upgrade our airplanes to hold more people. How can we get cash without paying for it with real money to buy more planes. Seems like you cant buy any planes with coins.
