We downloaded Pocket Pond over 10 years ago and we stop for a quiet moment each day to feed the Koi and care for our ponds. Many of our Koi are named after loved ones, lost family, and special moments. Thank you for your app, it is truly appreciated.
We once had this on our iPad before it broke we remembered this game and loved playing as we always have.

For many years its been one of a kind, most satisfying combination of natural beauty and technology. Many thanks to the creator.
We downloaded this on our kindle fire a few years ago. To this day its our favorite fish ap. We do wish they would update the graphics and add more items to customize your pond with. The ap as a whole is pretty dead and there are no events except daily ones. Also to those of you complaining about money- theres a really simple way to go about gaining koins. Focus on breeding two koi where one is at 0 and one is at 1 where it costs 0 koins to breed- or fish that breed for the amount of koins they sell for (so if it costs to breed them at 8 koins with the chance of either getting a fish that will sell for 8 or 11 koins- thats a good bet).
Pocket pond 1 and 2 were our games we played when we were about maybe 4? And we just got back into it and its just as good as we remembered! Love this game keep up the good work.
Love this game. Have it on 3 iPads. Been playing for a month. Downloaded a long time ago. Played it once. Thought it was cute. About a month ago revisited our ponds all our fish were dead. No wonder if you dont take of them they die. Revived them all. Caught some new ones and set up breeding ponds. In a month Ive got 12 ponds on 2 iPads. We earn 100-150 coins a day on each iPad. No need to spend money. This game teaches entrepreneurship, patience and responsibility. For that it is a great game that teaches naturally. If something blows up and we lose it all. Its a game. Start over and have a ball.
You CAN play this game without spending money, in fact its more fun this way. Start slow, work your way towards more ponds for breeding. Breeding the smaller cheaper Koi will make you more money if you find the right mix. We had 1-2 rare koi ponds we would breed just to see what we could get. The rest of our ponds were dedicated to breeding low cost fish for Koin. You can do less ponds for money because after a while it seems like a task. Overall a fantastic game. Ive been playing it for a while now.
Love this game but signing on to Facebook doesnt work which is holding us back from doing some stuff on the game so we hope it can get fixed. Thank you.

The game is a lot of fun and we enjoy playing it. We've only made a couple of purchases and had no problems. THE GAME DEFINITELY NEEDS UPDATED TO KEEP UP WITH NEWER PHONES!!! There is problems when you purchase more than 1 lily pad for 1 tank, they overlap and then you can't have two frogs in 1 tank and since a lot of the extra points you get are for how many of (something) you put in 1 tank you kinda lose out there! "YEAH" Thank you so much for updating Pocket Pond 2! We're so happy you did. We love this game! The fish and frogs are so realistic and it's just fun to go fishing. Thank you again, you made our day.
We do wish this app had more updates and more realistic koi patterns. New decorations and backgrounds would be cool too. However, Ive played this game for ages off and on. Ill delete it and come back to it. Our cats also like it. Usually when life gets very stressful we find our way back to this game. We love the ambiance choices, theyre so peaceful. Our favorite is the light thunderstorm. Its a great game to pass the time with. We hope you guys make a new one some day! (Unless we missed it already lol) More than anything, we deeply appreciate the lack of ads. Thank you, thank you for not cluttering your peaceful app with them. Ive played this game on and off for years and always love it but it seems its just not being updated anymore. Would love if would get an update but Im still okay to play it as is (:.
This game used to be able to just look at the pond and play with the water – kids loved it – now you cant even open it with out having to do some 1/2 hour tutorial and constant pop ups and prompts to buy things – horrible – some other developer please make a simple pond.
Love the game! Super nice to not have ads! Our only issue is that each time we try to log into facebook it says the app isnt set up for it?? Would love to be able to connect and visit friends and their ponds.
So we redownloaded the game and it was great everything was good but the only thing it lacks is things to do in game, this would be fixed by adding some new things and more pounds. Here is a tip for you to play the game, if you don't play for a while, and your fish are dead. Than you can use the ingame money to revive it or put a pice of food in and go to somewhere like the menu then go back and your fish is alive and then do it over and over till all fish are alive also move the living fish to a new pound.
So, we had this game a few years ago and decided to download it again a few weeks ago. Im really enjoying it, except for one thing. Ive both breed and caught fish that have gone down significantly in value. Im not sure if this is supposed to be realistic or something, but we cant find anything online that explains why its doing this, so it might be a glitch. We just caught a koi that was 24 coins (after paying 17 koins for bait) and we went back to our pond and sold one of our other fish, and suddenly the one that had been worth 24 koins was only worth 18. Im not sure why it does that, but it would be really nice if it was fixed or at least explained. Otherwise, its an entertaining game.
Overall we love this game, we had it a while back and enjoyed it a lot. The only problem is that when you get under a certain amount of koins you cant do anything, so you have to watch your koins to make sure you dont have to completely restart.
We love this game a lot but the problem Im having is that we cant connect it to Facebook. And most of the achievements you get awards for are centered around logging into Facebook, sharing your pond, visiting others, and gifting koi. We feel like Im missing out.
We feel like the creator has abandoned this app and they shouldnt have because its one of the best relaxing apps out there. We do think theres room for improvement. For example, (and Im sure Im not the only one), its tough to earn koins. If there were a way to earn koins the app would be better. Even getting paid koins to watch ads would be an improvement! Maybe like a 25-50 koin daily allowance? Oh and maybe if you play daily you get a bonus of koins on Day 7! Just some thoughts!! Please come back and upgrade this app!!! Its 4 stars for now but if you just improve here and there Ill gladly change it to 5 stars.
This game is awesome, we just got it a few days ago and we love it, we get fun daily prizes, we get to costomize our pond, and we get to buy new koi fish! Everything about this game is fun, feeding and playing with our fish, cleaning the pond and winning things. One of our favorite things is that the prize wheel is not super unfair, of course you still get a few small prizes but your chance of winning SOMETHING is high. There is just a few things we wish were different. The first is the koins, for us it's pretty hard to get them we wish it would be a little bit easier to gain them. Another is the playing part, now we don't have to say anything too major but we just wanna say that after you maybe clean the filter and take care of you fish unless if you rich in koins there's not much left to do for a little while. For some people this is a good thing but, we think there should be some other things to do while you play. We know this isnt too much but it would make a huge difference! Now let us see the other side, from what we are aware of this game has NO ADS! That's pretty amazing for a game like this. Now for those of you who want to progress fast just remember, this game is for relaxation it needs patients to play…. Just remember that THANK YOU.
We love this game but we wish there was no limit to how many ponds u can have. And we rich in this game cuz we found a glitch were if u buy a less common koi, then go back to yesterday on the device clock, sell it, then u get 1000000 credits and koins or more we also wish u culd play minigames in it.
Now, you see, this game is really interesting and fun, but we wish there was more than just getting fish and some other minor stuff. We think it would be cool if you could look at the genetics of your fish. Also, we dont think its very realistic that you can just make your fish grow up with a few coins. Theres also one other issue. On the wheel game, you can hack it by placing your finger on the wheel, spinning four times, and letting go on the amount of koins you want. That has to be fixed. But we love the graphics and zen design of it all. Keep up the good work.
This is a ton of fun! The trick is to breed what fish you have in order to gain koins and credit and get more valuable fish. It is very beneficial to master the foil in order to gain seven koins. One very big drawback for this app is that it does not play as well on Apple products as it does on android products. You do not get any of the sound effects and vibrations on Apple. Our LG G5 phone is a ton of fun.
A ton of fun but please make this playable without having to spend a ton of money. Thats where it doesnt remain fun anymore. Some of the filter upgrades and pond decor koin amount just doesnt make sense. From premium filter costing 15 koin for 10 fish capacity to the next being ultra filter for 12 capacity costing 50 koins? Its just two more fish? And the red rock costs double what the grey rock does? It doesnt make sense to us. You might as well stick to breeding the low cost fish anyway because the actual benefits of breeding rare fish doesnt surpass how much it costs to breed them. This would be such a successful and popular game if it was playable without having to rely on in app purchases. Otherwise everything like breeding takes a ridiculous amount of time and then we forget about the game completely. Also, in app backups are not working and Im not able to visit our friends ponds nor can they visit ours. Please fix these issues, it would be so so worth it for your users.

We were level 20 and had all the exotic fish but if you dont play every three or four days, your fish will die. We just dont have the time. We wanted to come back and visit for fun but it just got to be stressful. And koi ponds shouldnt he stressful. There are no consistent amount days or times for when your fish will become overwhelmed with algae. Sometimes its two days sometimes six or seven days and we keep buying more expensive filters or paying for our fish to be revived. We just lost our entire batch of fish over five ponds FOR A SECOND TIME so im done.
Please bring back the ability to connect facebook to the game.
Unable to clean the tank and then go back to the main screen. We can do the cleaning. But then stuck with n that page. We have to shut down the program to get back to the koi pond but then then muck is still there and we cant see the fish. Using an iPhone 13 pro.
The graphics are skewed on the new iOS phones. Otherwise its a great game.
It will not connect to FAceBook. You are supposed to be able to connect to FB and you can get all sorts of rewards for doing so, but everytime we try it errors say that this app is not supported. So….whats up with that? Otherwise a relaxing enjoyable time.
The social aspect does not work for us at all. We have personally installed the app on our niece, nephew, mother, father, and sister's phone, shared all their ponds on FB (and we're all FB friends) but no one can see anyone else's ponds. Also as important, there needs to be a way to completely silence all audio. When listening to audiobooks/music on headphones, we can't touch this app because the noise from the water and dragonflies is so ridiculous. Finally, words cannot describe how much we passionately hate the yosho. It has a friggin person for its skin pattern. Every time we see it, it completely destroys the small amount of immersion this game has. Edit: no longer works with social media at all. If we try to link it to FB, FB gives it an error and says the app developer needs to update it.
Hi! We very much like this game. Lots to do, many activities to purchase, feed, play with and care for your Koi Pond (s). We bought this game for relaxation, and the fish and the water sounds do exactly that. Our one problem is that the continuous high-pitched bird sounds give us a headache. There is no relaxing with all that screeching going on. So, yes, we could turn off all sound, but then we would miss the relaxing water sounds. We would like this game a lot, but we would be much happier, and be inclined to continue playing it and making many more purchases and up our rating to five stars if the authors would incorporate a feature that allows the user to select which sounds they wish to hear while playing the game. We cant back up our pond we bought coins and every time we try to back up our pound it says timed out.
We just downloaded. Really enjoying our fish. We keep getting an unknown error when we try to log in to Facebook. We cant find anything that explains how to make our fish happy.
It is a very fun and relaxing game. We like our fish-lasertag and applesauce. We have one problem with it- the frog. We. Hate. The. Frog. When you click on it and it swims across the water there is no current of water rippling off it. There is nothing. It is so annoying and we cant handle it. That is all.
So we love this game but when we try to connect to Facebook to get the social aspect of it, it tells us there is an error with the app and that we dont have permission to connect.
Its fun to play and really peaceful but theres one part thats aggravating, it keeps telling us we cant sign into Facebook and that the game is still in development mode when we try, Id really like it if you fixed this (Will 5 star if fixed).
Could you make it so we can see the rest of our pond we're stuck at the center and we can't see our fish most the time.
We just want something our 9-month-old baby can tap on while were sitting in restaurants or waiting rooms. This app makes you go through a thousand set-up steps.
We miss the original pocket pond. It was so relaxing and fun to poke at the fish and move the plants. Each upgrade became more work and less relaxing.
Refuses to let us connect to Facebook so we cant connect with friends. Its a bit annoying to say the least.
Ive been playing for a few weeks and like this game. Decided, we should get a package to support and enable a backup. Bought a package of coins. Went to do the backup and kept receiving an error message that the operation timed out. It must have continued trying to complete the backup because the popups kept coming after a little while. Decided to give it a little time and went to buy a bait to get a new fish with our coins. Caught a fish and a popup disrupted our screen before we could select a pond and now the fish and coins are both gone. Backups are still not working. So we have no backup and our coins are gone. Kind of bummed. Not sure if we have to buy a new coin package everytime we want to backup the game, but we wont be buying anything else. Bit of a bummer.
Ive emailed the devs a couple times. We like the game. Ive had it long enough that we remember the last update. We know u still make $ off of it-because Ive spent $ playing. It crashes & freezes because its been THREE YEARS! Update the game so we can give it 5 stars. We love the game. It needs an update. Maybe a few new fish, too.
Cant login to Facebook. Really trying to keep our game since we have put work into it and have rare fish, but Im trying transfer them to our new phone so.. Really expected more.
Paid to unlock all ponds but still no sound on SE. Water sound is essential.
We had this game a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. Picked it up again a couple of weeks ago but it seems like the devs just quit. The game works fine but as some others have stated the backup function does not work at all. It does not link to Facebook or Game Center so there is nothing storing your game data ifyou switch devices.
