A Glimpse into Pocket RPG: Epic Adventure
Enter a world overrun by hordes of monsters. Explore trap-filled dungeons and face mighty bosses. Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness.
Pocket RPG is a dual-stick action dungeon-crawler. In it you can choose from three distinct classes, each with their own combat style.
The Dark Ranger uses his bow and arrows to assault enemies from a distance. The Blade Master gets up close and personal with a powerful arsenal of melee weapons. The Battle Mage uses her powerful spells to deal damage to the enemies and attack their weak points. You’ll accompany one of these warriors on their journey to bring peace to the land by clearing out areas of monsters, one quest at a time.
Each time you finish a quest, the levels you’ve gained and the equipment you’ve gathered will be converted into resources you can use to upgrade your character, expanding their abilities and strengthening their powers. You’ll need all the help you can get. The dungeons, sewers, forests, and other environments you’ll explore may have a lot of treasure to find, but they’re also packed with huge crowds of vicious fiends. Use everything you have at your disposal to dispatch these wicked threats and ensure the forces of good are victorious.
Pick from the agile Dark Ranger, the stalwart Blade Master, or the crafty Battle Mage. Each character requires a different battle strategy. Find the one that is best for you! Find new weapons, accessories, and equipment to aid you on your quest. Load up on coins to buy what you need from the shopkeeper. Collect potions to give you temporary boosts that will give you the edge in battle! The dungeons are teeming with tons of terrible creatures, all of them looking to have you for lunch. Slimes, golems, ogres, and more are waiting to ruin your day. You’ll have to do some serious crowd control!

We recently played through this game again after putting it down for a while. Id love to see this in room scale VR. We think lots of people are looking for exactly this type of game and would pay $30 for it in VR.
We just re-downloaded this game after many years, and we were super excited to play it again, but every single time we swing a weapon, it crashes. Any character, no matter what. We can enter the first adventure (the snowy-ish place) and move around just fine, but if we swing a weapon, it crashes. We gave 1 star in hopes that this will be fixed. No crashes like this happen in any other app/game so its definitely this game. This deserves 5 stars, but we literally cannot play it, so unfortunately, this is a 1 Star for now. Edit: 5 stars now! Game works great, its beautiful as always!
We remember playing this game when we were really young and really enjoying it. The only thing is the constant crashing. We cant get past the first mini boss on the third level without the game closing out, causing us to restart to the beginning of the level.
Just downloaded update after not playing for a while. Cant get past third boss fight without crashing. Have tried 20+ times.
Crashes the second we kill the zombie boss. Was really disappointed. Loved the game.
We are in the third dungeon on the second level where you have to fight three necromancers that summon mummies, and we keep getting their health really low, and then the game crashes. Does this to us every time, which is alot of times, we lost count of how many times its done it. 2 Stars until this is fixed.

We were loving this game, absolutely synced with our style gaming, but while fighting a boss in the second mission our game crashed. Thinking it was a fluke we reopened the app and replayed the same level it had previously crashed on just to have the same crash occur during the same fight. We tried this about 5 times before confirming it was a persistent bug that would not be passable. We cooled off for a few days and then decided to try the game again but with a mage/caster instead of the archer which we initially started with. We were able to pass the second mission but then had the same crashing happen while fighting the boss of the 3rd mission in the campaign. This is terribly frustrating because it is a game we would love to playif it was actually playable. Using the latest iPad Air(2021) so its not a legacy hardware issue. Please fix! Bugs bugs bugs.
We were liking this game. However, every single time we are about to beat the second level bosses the game just closes and makes us go back in the second level. We’ve tried about ten times and it happens every time. This is ridiculous.
Was really enjoying playing this game but all of a sudden it crashes and closes whenever we try to fire. We’ve tried different controller styles and uninstalling/reinstalling. Also sent a message to Game Club but havent received a response.
This game would be much better if it had controller support. Thats our main complaint.
This was/is a great little game with good replay-ability. It had been neglected by its original owner while scores of fans ask for more dungeon maps etc (and would have paid for them – missed opportunity there). When GameClub picked it up, rather than anything new in terms of the game, they delivered ads. You didnt need to see those status screens anyway.
We love your game and we’ve memorized all the monsters but lately all the enemies we’ve seen are bugs, logs, lunatic trees, and the things that spit out enemies. But we havent seen any liches, slimes, demon eyes, imps, or tiny golems. (Except for boss fights.) Please bring back the other monsters.
In no way will we subscribe to their company so we can play the game. Which is a shame the one level we did play was a fun game but requiring a subscription to play further is not acceptable. Should have just labeled it a demo.
The new update is simply a cash grab. Itll cost you 60$ a year.
This game is bs why make it free in the App Store just to make you pay a subscription when you first get on dont make it free in store if youre gonna have to pay for it the moment you launch it. Pathetic waist of time.
We bought this game back in 2011 and loved it. We played it all the way through to the end of the campaign. Now in 2020 we found the new version only to find out that you have to purchase some $4.99 a month membership to play it again?! This is ridiculous. The kicker is that there is a button to supposedly recover your old account but it doesnt even work! First we find out the game we paid money for is no longer playable through iOS updates, and now the updated version is $60 a year!! Outrageous.
THANK YOU so much for fixing the crashing issues so quickly!!! You guys rock! This is easily one of our favorite action RPGs on the iPhone. We can not thank you enough for bringing it back from the 32 bit end of the world. =D.
Excellent game to pick up and play for a few minutes, or for a few hours. Well laid out, and very good progression through the levels. Recommended purchase for anyone who likes this genre of games!

This game is incredibly addictive! If you’re a fan of hack and slash and loot-based games, this one is absolutely worth picking up. We love that they didn’t make it a pay to win game either.. It makes us love the game that much more. You won’t regret this purchase!

Best game of this genre we’ve come across so far.
This game fulfills a role I’d like to see more often in games on iDevices: a basic hack n slash with rpg elements. The graphics are good for what it is, the gameplay mechanics are easy to grasp, and you can pick this up or put it down on a whim. If we had one complain it would be that I’d like a better save function. Still that’s a quibble, not a serious issue. We hope they write more in this vein, or a sequel, or expansion/more content.
Great fun for when we are away from pc, plays well and so far no crashes.
Amazing game 3D graphics fun and snappy response used the advanced controls that another reviewer told us about great investment. Already beat the game but haven’t found one. Good so we are running through it again.
Is there any way we can beg developers to come up with more content, more gear, mover everything! After beating this a few time, we hunt daily for additional contact I’d even be willing to pay , so please add new characters, new items in the game, more game play. I’d be forever in debt if you could make this happen. Is there something we can do to help this along? Please, we’re begging, with all our heart.
Was looking for something similar to diablo and baldurs gate.. This game Is very similar great graphics… Hack an slash.. Looting its just like a pc game.. Love it.

One of the best controlled 3d rpg game filled with weapons classes and plenty of items to help you level up.
We have very much enjoyed Pocket RPG, but could be greatly improved with the addition of a local multiplayer. Maybe connected by Bluetooth or Internet.
First quest complete. So far so good. Can’t put it down… Even to watch football!! And no in app purchases!!!
We love this game. It’s really fun and we LOVE how it doesn’t have any inapp purchases so you can actually earn your stuff. We would love it even more if you add multiplayer, but don’t add addons that you have to buy on multiplayer like coins and stuff it ruins the game because you already paid for it and you would have to pay more just to be better than other players.
We love the game so much but when ever we go to a different stage it crashes plz fix.

Prompted to rate after first level. We like it so far. Drop rate is nice. Graphics nice. Aiming iffy but works 90% of the time. No in app purchases so that is GREAT!
We bought this on iPhone before the universal version came out but loved it so much we had to rebut it for our iPad when we got one.
