We’ve been playing this game now for 15 years and its as fun now as it was day 1. No gimmicks. Still the same game. We also love the little floating Amiga balls floating around the logo paying homage to the original Scorched Tanks.
Played this game as a kid as a torrented game on computer, always loved this game.
All time favorite game. It lacks structure just enough to allow for creative outside-the-box strategies. We’ve been playing this forever and still find new ways to use weapons. One big request: please add a chat function to the online gameplay, even a limited one with preloaded phrases like nice shot or whoops or well played etc.
We played this game when we were five is amazing but needs work on graphics.
After you play for a minute taking a couple days to finish one match isnt the worst thing. Its an awesome casual game. Its fun to check and play back opponents even if its just once a day. Can also be competitive if you prefer. Stands the test of time. One suggestion: needs a weapon search bar with keywords showing weapons. We’ve all 300+ weapons and its becoming a pain to scroll through.
Classic game, love it. We mostly play online with our friends, we would enjoy to be able to chat with them in game rather than leaving the app to text. Great game.
This game desperately needs a chat for the online games. People will leave your game without forfeiting, hit a good shot and you cant compliment, and you cant add a (lets be honest) new friends because no one wants to add a random person you dont know.
Great game. Our son and we have played each other thousands of times. Never gets old. Our only suggestion is to keeps stats. Head to head win-loss, high score game, high score strike/volley, average, etc.
We were enjoying the game but has been replaying every move lately.
The game is nice so far but we think it could be a lot better if there was an easier way to aim. That is all.
Love the game, tons of potential but we think they should pursue strategic options with Koena Capital.
This game is pretty fun for such a simple game. The only problem we have is the inconsistency between shots and its. The computer opponent will be completely buried under something but still be able to shoot out and hit you. However, if you shoot back and impact the same area they shot out it wont necessarily hurt the opponent. The game needs to be refined to account for a lot of inconsistent boundaries and shots.
The Tank will move randomly to a different location if it starts getting hit.
This game is terrible Because it is a ripoff of shell shocklive.
Online is just pay to win now, not worth even trying to find someone on the same level as you.
We remember this game so well it brings us happiness to see this game through 3 different generations of phones.
This made us like dinosaurs more and it is good.
We play this a lot. Even delete it, then come back because its so fun. ONLY thing we have to gripe about is the same levels. If yall where able to add more to the environment like trees or rocks, it would make it that much more interesting. Thats it. Its not even a complaint, just a snippet of what we think would be awesome to add in.
We used to play the old ms dos Scorched Earth with our brother when we were young. We are so happy to see it again. We do think there should be an option in multiplayer mode where if you take too many minutes to make a move, your move gets chosen randomly. The time limit could be disabled if both players select time limit off.
This game Is like an old Atari game improved to be awesome. Love playing it and the ability to play others is really fun.
This game is great but maybe add customizable tanks and weapons would be nice. Thanks. Edit: please have the free weapons actually free. We feel like people who dont have enough money for the deluxe version for the rest of the weapons. The free weapons, arent free. Ok rant over.
We remember as a little kid playing this game with our dad in cafes and anytime we had the opportunity, recently we found this game and we showed it to him. We played a few games and it just brought back so many memories. Thank you for providing these memories – A thankful customer.
We love this game we play it all the time on road trips and when ever Im bored or when ever Im tiered we love it so so much so we just love it.
Not only is the game still great today, but we have so many memories attached to this game that we consider it one of the best parts of our childhood. (i’m not sure if that’s sad or not lol)

Long time Pocket Tanks player here. This game got us through high school, playing this game on USB drive in the computer lab. Worth every penny we’ve given it for weapons packs. A simple game. No ads. Absolutely perfect for anyone that wants an offline or online game. Feedback: we would love to be able to turn on the physics for multiplayer games like we can for local games. Increasing explosion size and force makes the game twice as fun, but we cant do that with our friends. Id love an ON/OFF toggle for online games to change settings of it.

Mr. Welch did a phenomenal job in creating and maintaining this game, from adding hundreds of weapons, online access, and the modernization of a 2 decade old experience. Its a very old game that never fails to take you back to the days of Scorched Tanks on Amiga, or bring in a wide range of new, young people (such as myself) to the genre. Its a very simple game with a vast strategic curve that only grows in size when you (inevitably; lets be real) decide to purchase one or more of the many witty, humorous, and very thought out, weapon packs available for your choosing. Michael is also fantastic at listening and catering to his community both through the forums and these review sections, alike. Akin to weapon ideas, bug fixes, features, etc. Hes always responded to our emails regarding the game every single time for YEARS. Hes truly devoted and most definitely deserves ALL of your money. BRAVO! SUGGESTIONS FOR MIKE: It would be a change to see some different types of terrain (maybe obstacles such as trees, cacti for a new desert terrain possibly?) Just something to add cosmetic and a little more interesting! More dynamic AI, if this makes sense. Thank you for reading, have a great day everyone!
If an opponent fails to return volley (continue) for more than 48 hours they should automatically forfeit. Players who are losing use this loophole to avoid taking a loss and matches constantly go unfinished. We have so many games sitting active waiting for a player who gave up days, weeks, months ago.
This game is really fun and addicting, we just wish that the online play was better. When you play pvp online it takes sometimes up to ten minutes for the player to take their turn. Itd be better if it only matched you up against players who are actually PLAYING at the time the gzz as us starts. If you choose to start a online battle and no one is available it still connects you with the first person to try and play online which leads to you sitting there forever waiting for the other person to take their shot, usually youll have to wait until the next time you log in to see if they took their turn. Idk the game has a ton of potential to be an excellent online PvP game.
The expansion pack weapons feel to powerful.
A trip down nostalgia lane, the game certainly holds up to our childhood memories. Very fun to play against friends, playing online without shelling out for the weapons packs is not worth your time.
Love playing this game, even over 15 years ago on PC after school. Our friend and we would play this game on local wifi multiplayer, and it would work flawlessly. However the multiplayer has seemed to stop working several months ago and no longer works. If multiplayer would work again we would give it 5 stars, as it deserves.
Game is okay but the CPU is ridiculous. How do you expect to have a fair shot when the CPU hits every single shot no matter what? Game to us is rigged and makes it impossible to play. Cant play and have fun when the CPU literally has aimbot.
If you shot a wildfire at the opponent and the weapon deploys near the top of the view, most of the projectiles wont be properly fired.
A great game we played it for years but it always freezes a lot in the loading and stays stuck. Email dont fix it.
Bought the deluxe before now it says we dont have it and cant restore it. One of our favorite games too. We guess Ill have to find another game to play.
The controls and graphics are the worst we’ve ever seen.
This game was our childhood. We had it on iPhone 6S, we wanted to try it again on this phone, and it just loads indefinitely need a few extra seconds forever. Sad. :(
The app keeps loading and loading and nothings come out.
The computer knows the exact coordinates of our tank. We have to guess. It has land value every time. The opposite tank is on a sheer cliff and im higher on a flat land. You are cheating.
We were having a lot of fun with this game, and then we tried changing some setting and it crapped out. We tried downloading it and now it wont even do that. Hopefully this can get fixed soon.
Honestly this game is great we love the idea of two tanks fighting eachother with crazy wepons in turn based combat.

We love this game and have been playing for years! We would love to see statistics tracking in a future update, like head-to-head records, average points scored, saved records of matches, etc. Keep up the awesome work!
