Great its been updated for iPad but too bad we’ve bought and played it TWO YEARS ago and can never, ever play it a second time. If you want to buy a game where you can only play one time, this is it. Beyond us why developers are so money hungry that we literally get punished for – playing the game by never getting to play it twice.
Not your average game, no flashy lights, no in app purchases, no clutter. Graphics : clean. Neat. Pretty. Love and hate are surprisingly appealing for two blobs. The hissed "I hate you we hate you" is cackle worthy. The gooey "I loooove you" is sweet and sticky. The other ones are equally charming. Game play : easy, simple, and intuitive. The puzzles become progressively more complicated and the switching between love and hate is seamless. Replay value : good Bottom line : would play again, would recommend to a friend.
We love everything about this game The puzzles, the graphics, the sounds. We’ve had it for a long time and haven’t finished, because the last puzzles are somewhat challenging for us. But they are a lot of fun and we keep trying without feeling frustrated. You just have to try it, it’s really great.
If you ever had a chance to download a game, this one should not be missed. We have two absolute faves, Monument and this one Love Hate etc. We have played both through from beginning to end, deleted them and then re-installed them. Cannot say enuf about the quality of play, art and humor that this game contains and provides. An absolute must have!!!
Such a cute puzzler. Our sister recommended it to us and we were surprised when we saw it came from the same studio as Symmetrain, another of our favorites. The gameplay is really relaxing. Using Love and Hate reflects real life, since love brings people closer and hate pushes them away. Love sends out hearts which makes some of the "other ones" walk closer and Hate sends out lightning bolts which makes them walk away. It was $1.99 well spent. We hope this game doesn’t stay underrated forever.
This is just a great game. The mechanics are terribly simple, but the puzzles can be quite challenging (but never frustrating). It’s fun and relaxing – no time limit, no move limit, infinite undos; you’re just trying to figure out the puzzle with no arbitrary stressors. Great game for waiting rooms and the like, and even more fun when you can give it your full attention. It’s a substantial game: 80 levels, and you definitely get your money’s worth. Still, we would love to see even more levels, or a sequel.
A cheap game but so many levels of logic fun. Well worth it!
We love playing this game. Play a couple of levels in a few minutes. Have to plan and create a strategy. Feel like we’re exercising our brain and having fun at the same time.
This game is clever and engaging – easy to understand, clever internal logic, intuitive controls, and striking artwork. Excellent replay value too.
Our family all say "I love you" and "I hate you" like the characters. A great game! Reminds us a little of Gesundheit. Wish there were more levels!
This game is a lot of fun. Lots of clever puzzles you need to figure out. There’s one bug that needs fixing. Lofs of times the game will get stuck on the Pause screen and you have to force quit the game and start it up again. Other than that, great game.
IPhone X. Game is bugging out pretty bad.
The graphics are appealing, but that’s all. It’s utterly boring. Doesn’t have anything that makes you want to keep playing. Hearing the line we hate you over and over again is also quite annoying.
We paid and download. Opened game. Selected play. Selected level one. A clip of an in game txt screen shows for less than a second before cutting to to a cut scene of hate walking and getting hit with a button box. Love approaches and presses the button. They disappear. The scene repeats. It doesnt stop. We can not exit. We have to force close the app. We have uninstalled and re downloaded. We have the same problem still. PLEASE HELP!!!!
The game had so much potential. An easy to pick up and play puzzle, Love and Hate had great, gothic animation styling. This gave the game a potentially serious overtone that could have been interesting. However, such potential was wasted by using ridiculous sound effects, and voice acting suited for a children’s television show. Considering the game requires you to use the characters constantly and that they speak when being used, it was too much for us. We would not recommend.
… But really dull game play. It is remarkably repetitious and too easy. We couldnt go on after about 30 levels. Yawn.

This game is easily our favorite. The game play is extremely easy to learn and simple, but the game itself can still be challenging. The game is partitioned into individual puzzles, and those puzzles are grouped into different levels, requiring different tools. Each new tool has a simple description and is easy to learn. The puzzles get more challenging as the game progresses; the game is engaging. Also, being comprised of individual puzzles makes this a great casual game, that can be started and stopped as time allows.
A few reviews we read stated what we would say. Puzzles are challenging but not impossible. The ability to undo and redo without penalty is awesome. There’s no minimum number of moves, no three stars to achieve, no pressure to do it "right". Just do the puzzles and have fun.

We were going to rate 5 stars, buuuuuut we updated and all of our levels we’ve completed are deleted so we have to start over ! This is really upsetting and we’re extremely disappointed with the developers. Please fix this.

Favorite game EVER!!! Can’t wait for more levels!! We thought it would be just a game for our kids, but we ended up playing it all the time!
What a captivating game! Cute concept, challenging levels and just plain addicting.
This game really makes you think in order to complete each level! The characters are hilarious too! You’ll be hooked on it after the first couple of levels which are basically tutorials of how to play the game. We definitely recommend! A+++++!
Some one-of-a-kind mechanics that are fun to play around with and the charming characters make this one of our favorite puzzlers. We highly recommend it!
