Teeth brushing has been a struggle for our little ones. Doing it long enough, doing it good enough. Weve had this app for 2 weeks and its a night and day difference. Brushing their teeth twice a day for 2 minutes is one of their favorite things, and they earn playing the game by flossing good first. Im a massive fan.
Our kids love this app and have been using it for years now the only problem is that the app breaks once youve caught all the Pokmon. Now theres some regions that are still not unlocked like Paldea isnt there and theres also a lack of shiny in the app as well. So it seems to us like this could be easily solved,But nonetheless sad to say we had to find a new toothbrushing app for our kids because this one does not work anymore, and our kid feels bad about restarting.
This game that helps you brush your teeth its sooooooo fun!!!! It helps us get clean teeth and our profile is Pikachu on our dads phone and Charmander on our iPad.
Trigger Warning for mentions of mental health. We are not the target demographic for this app age-wise, but we are recovering from severe depression which makes it hard to be consistent with our oral hygiene. We also never had anyone who taught us how to brush properly. Ive been using Pokemon Smile for a couple days. Its a miracle. We feel..so clean. Ive been able to brush our teeth. Every day. We are an autistic adult who has always had trouble brushing our teeth our whole life, and this game is seriously awesome. We dont think Ive properly brushed our teeth in years until we downloaded this app. And Im not even into Pokemon! We highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble brushing their teeth and ESPECIALLY those who have children with this struggle. It is seriously worth a try.
We love this game but it only has levels 1 and 2 that is not good but it has no update and no more levels but we like the song and we pick the picture of us when we making a funny face. The sub is the best app in the world its so easy. Its so fun.it makes our teeth so slimy so thats a good thing. If we could give this 5 million stars, we would.
So when we rush our teeth we usually use this app. We usually like when you get to get different Pokmons after you get done brushing your teeth. We highly recommend this app to young users who are having struggles for brushing their teeth because we find this a fun and encouraging way to brush teeth.
This app is very fun and our teeth havent been more white in forever ever since we got this app.
We dont review apps, but wanted to put out good vibes for this one! We have always struggled getting kids to brush. Toothbrush timers/videos on Youtube worked for about a week before they just starred at them with the toothbrush hanging out of their mouth. This one they actually need to keep the brush moving! Our kids have caught all 250+ Pokmon offered. We wish there was more! We could NOT get our kids to consistently brush. And now they ASK to brush their teeth, and every time they come out and show us who they caught. We would pay for this app to unlock more Pokmon. 10/10 stars.
We really love this game and really happy we got it. We had a lot of Pokmon collected and a lot of cute Pokmon hats, but randomly, when we logged back onto the game, it had deleted all of our things and Pokmon. We are a middle schooler who has always struggled to make a good habit of dental hygiene. This app is the perfect solution!! We also love how its completely freeeeeeeee. However we would like to see the additions of non gen1 Pokemon. As of 3/2/25 the only non gen1 pkmn are Dedenne, Mime jr, Smeargle, and Ludicolo. Id love to see Pokemon like Piplup and shinx they would be so cute! And plusle and minun! There are so many cute pkmn you could add Also this is such a hidden gem there are no paywalls/subscriptions or Ads!! This app needs better reviews, all the reviews saying it made our gums bleed are just grumpy people. Dont listen. Download this app!! You wont be sorry!! Our kid is very stubborn and doesnt like getting told what to do even if we get it through to them they drop it in a week but we showed them this app and they fell in love with the adorable characters and started brushing their teeth without us telling them to! They chose eevee and is actually excited to brush their teeth thats a lot of stress off of us.
This app is great for people whos truffle wi to brushing their teeth, ourselves included. Though we are a teen, it helps us. We struggle with depression and anxiety and this has helped us a lot! It gives us motivation to do something and make it feel rewarding. We also love the little chibi Pokmon and the hats. Words cannot describe how much we love this app. It captures and exceeds every expectation we had going in. Im an adult, but Pokemon has been our special since childhood, and with AuDHD we have unfortunately neglected our teeth for years. Now Im dealing with cavities and needed to find something that would really motivate us to stick with it. Well, this app does ALL THAT AND MORE! Its bright, engaging, the art is adorable, and adding stickers to your photo was an unexpected delight that we really had a blast playing with! Plus, brushing in real time while your Pokemon helps you get gunk off the screen made brushing actually feel FUN! It cleaned our teeth, actually kept our interest, and made us happy when seemingly few things can. If we could rate this any higher than 5 stars we would. We hope someone on the development team knows how thankful we are that this exists. You are literally saving our mouth and healing our inner child at the same time! Thank you so much.
Add more Pokmon to catch! Only 150 out of however many Pokmon there are. Our kid loves this game and Id like to keep it interesting for as long as possible.

As a parent of a 3-year-old, we can confidently say Pokmon Smile has completely transformed our tooth-brushing routine. Before this app, we didnt have much of a foundation ourselves when it came to dental habitsbrushing regularly wasnt something we were really raised to prioritize. So when it came time to teach our son, we felt kind of lost. Enter Pokmon Smile. This app didnt just helpit solved the problem entirely. Our son now looks forward to brushing his teeth. That alone is worth five stars in our book. Watching Pokmon appear on screen, rescuing them from cavity-causing bacteria, and earning new Pokmon to add to his collectionits genius. The app uses the front-facing camera to track brushing, and while its not perfect, it works well enough to encourage thorough brushing. Its playful, positive, and surprisingly engaging even for us as an adult. But heres the thing: Ive been a Pokmon fan since we were five years old. We grew up with this franchise and it means a lot to us to be able to share it with our kid in a fun, healthy way. Thats why we really hope the developers continue to update the game and include Pokmon from later generationsespecially Gen 3 (Hoenn region). Theres something incredibly nostalgic and special about that generation, and we think it would motivate both older fans and newer players even more. We know its technically a game for toddlers and kindergartners, but dont underestimate how well-designed and thoughtful this app is. It brings together health, education, and one of the most beloved franchises in the world in a way that feels natural and exciting. Its not just a noveltyits a tool that works. All in all, Pokmon Smile is a brilliant little app that turns a daily chore into a moment of joy. If Gen 3 Pokmon get added in a future update, it would be an easy 5-star rating from us.

This app deserves to have a lot more pokemon added to the pokdex. It only has 155 pokemon in the dex, which seriously limits its longevity :(.
We honestly love this game already cuz it helps a lot with helping us actually want to do things we normally dont want to do. This game is perfect for any Pokmon fans who struggle with brushing their teeth or struggle with just being reminded to brush their teeth. We recommend it for any Pokmon fans who struggle with these problems. We do have one issue, though. We want to be able to brush with more Pokmon so it wont be so boring. We rlly love the art style and the Cubone looks so goofy and we rlly love goofy stuff just LET ME BRUSH WITH THAT DINGUS PLS IM BEGGING YOU.
We caught all the Pokemon and then we felt like there was no meaning to it anymore and we think you should add the next region, why not all of them even paldea and this would have been 5 star if you at least added the new Pokemon also the game makes us drip toothpaste on our shirt that we like. Also, how about you add megas and gigantamax Pokemon.

While the app is good, recently whenever we press brush teeth it doesnt load. We still get the notifications to brush our teeth, but then it doesnt let us brush our teeth using the app.
This is rigged our son cried to us out of nowhere and said he almost got mew but it ran away we were confused so he explained and we under stood.so we think all pokemon shoud be 100 percent chance of catching so thats why this is 3 stars.
Not every Pokmons in it. Please change that soon. This rating will be changed to 5 star if you do so. 4 str if you just add, like, Sprigatito and some other random Pokmon from other gens including ALL the starters. But thats just what we think.
Tells you to brush faster and look at our tooth brush and it had blood all over it please don't listen when it tells you to go faster.
Our daughter loves it. Shes learning how to brush her teeth and having fun. We just need an expansion for more Pokmon to catch. We can no longer catch new ones and the app developers decided to abandon it. So its lost its charm without new Pokemon and rewards to earn.

This app is marketed to parents with small children, something that was made very clear upon first opening. However, Im an autistic teen whos struggled with our mental health for years. Pokmon has been a huge aspect of our life as its our special interest. Ive struggled with personal hygiene for as long as we can remember and so finding a way to turn one of the least comfortable sensory experiences for us into a game involving something we love has been huge. Ive brushed our teeth more in these last few days than we have in several months, and filling out the PokDex has been whats kept us motivated. Now Im just waiting for Pokmon Shower and Pokmon Diet to come out because the Pokmon Company seems to be incredibly good at developing games for lifestyles and making things that are typically difficult and emotionally draining accessible to someone like us.
The Pokmon that was in this game and the effort is so good.
