We have loved Pokmon and Nintendo for many years, and when we saw the release trailer for Pokmon Champions, we were psyched when we heard that it was free on mobile devices. Since , Ive been eagerly awaiting the moment when it was ready for mobile devices. We also got it on switch. And now it is finally ready. Phenomenal experience and we love the customization options for your character. We also swear we saw our user in one of the clips in the App Store video. One of the first Pokmon we got was Lucario because its been our favorite for a long time. Ive also been able to upload our Pokmon home Pokmon to our app. We also love how you can pick from so many Pokmon instead of just finding Pokmon in the wild. We love it! Im playing it whenever our brother is using the switch. Thanks again Pokmon!!! update HOW DARE YOU POKMON?!?! We wanted to be able to access Pokmon Champions from multiple devices, and at first we succeeded. And then, when we opened it on the first device we signed into, it said that our data had been transferred to another device already and wouldnt let us play! Fix this bug or else Im permanently changing this rating to one star.

So great we love the Eng factor of recruiting and the Ig purchase are decent prices unlike other battle type games.
We were surprised to see a well made Pokemon game for free on the App Store. Usually Pokemon games on the App Store have lower quality versions of the original battling system but this is just the same. Feels like the gen 6 competitive weather wars era, but with the great new modern Pokemon. No legendaries or mythical snake this game balanced with niche Pokemon teams able to be built.
Im a 36 year old mom and still love this game! The battles are awesome, the graphics are so cool! Its a great game.
We love the game its really fun and helps people have access to competitive or make it easy to learn and be able to play competitive but we would like one thing and if you can already do this our bad but we would love if you could send Pokmon that you get from Pokemon champions to Pokmon home we know if you send a Pokmon from pokemon home to the game you can send that back but we would love if you could send Pokmon from the game to Pokmon home so that way mobile players could have a better access to getting more pokemon if they decide to get a new account and have a lot of good pokemon like a lot of the Nintendo players who basically had the whole Pokdex this could be more fair in a way so mobile players dont have to result to pokemon go to get pokemon more quickly please let this be a change in future updates.
Why not add into double battles? Give us access to adding players so we could maybe possibly have duo battles. If we can have our Pokmon doing it the trainers should be able to as well. Just a thought.

For us a VGC player who loves playing on Pokmon showdown this is really good so you can train Pokemon in like a minute and over all 5 star relly good.

Ok so listen our favorite Pokmon is meowscarada and gardivoir so we realize they dont have meowscarada so we just play. But when we realize the Pokmon dude there is barley anything also we saw a person named caraway and Im like dude imma be her and now we think we cant waaaaaaa but we wish they would add where you could walk around.

Fun game, fun teams, fun people, fun mechanics, just peak in general.
This game is everything that we have ever wanted from Pokmon. You can literally use any Pokmon from every game. Like ANYTHING!!!! Have a shiny charizard from fire red from childhood guess what you can USE IT. Finally all of the grinding that we have done in Pokmon go pays off lol. But for real though this game is amazing if you ever wanted to play competitive Pokmon or just a quick game of Pokmon against a stranger or friend. Now you can. Casual or competitive if you love Pokmon there isnt a reason why this shouldnt be on your phone.
Wish there was a 2v2 for double battles.

Great game! Wish it had more battle formats though (full team fights, 2 trainers vs 2 trainers).
Did you know that if you have if you they what would you do if when you okay so he said yes would go.
Wen u play it over a hour it crashes or turns the game off need some work on that.
The opponent team always hits on contact, but our moves always misses. Thats an issue Every single battle is like that always missing.
Pokmon champions really brigs your competitive spirit with your friends we mean you might not be friends after but still awesome.
We haven't played comp before but we find this really enjoyable, we should have more customization though make us gym leaders competing to be in the elite four so we can customize our gyms.
If your an old school Pokmon lover like us who played Red Blue gold silver Pokmon stadium 1 and 2 or Colosseum and you have not played many of the new Pokmon games on switch then you will love this. A lot of hate seems to go towards this. And most of those ppl are used to playing Competetive multiplayer matches against others on switch with the newer Pokmon games. We think this game was made for those who have not. We have been begging them to make a game like Pokmon stadium 2 forever now. Thats the key for a good game. And YES this game only features fully evolved Pokmon. And only a few dozen from each generation as of right now. We would love for them to at least eventually add every single fully evolved Pokmon from each generation at some point. Having only a few dozen from each generation leaves so many out of the game. But if they add them all whether they are good or weak or whatever, s what most ppl are hoping for. If we cant have all the Pokmon forms then All fully evolved s the next best thing. We hope they do this. Make this game as good as Pokmon stadium 2. Right now ts still alot of fun.

If you are a new player, please dont let the bad reviews scare you away. This game is a blessing for anyone who plays competitively or wants to get into competitive Pokemon. First off, the people who are complaining about the game being boring or having no sense of adventure do not understand the significance of competitive battling and do not know that this game was specifically created to make access to competitive play 100x easier than what it used to be. It is an absolute godsend for those who dreaded playing through the mainstream games just to reach end game content to start the tedious grind for competitive team building. Moving over competitive battles to a standalone simulator like this has revolutionized competitive play and is honestly long over due. Combining that with the ability to play on your mobile device is a beautiful aspect that we think most people who have been playing competitively for years really appreciate. Its what weve always dreamed of and for that a huge thank you to The Pokemon Company is in order. If you are someone who has no interest in competitive battles, then this game is not for you. Instead, please look forward to upcoming release of Winds and Waves. Next, the people who keep complaining about the game being unfair and think people are somehow cheating are just really bad at the game. After doing 50+ battles they still cant think to do some simple research to learn why theyre losing and get better. What do you expect will happen when you go against experienced players and still refuse to learn from your mistakes after you lose? This game is not for casuals. This is a competitive game and putting together a team of your favorites and clicking buttons with no thought is gonna get you nowhere. New players will have to learn competitive strategy, proper team building structure, move choices, game mechanics, etc. Theres a lot to learn, but there are many free, quality resources available to you online to help you get started and keep improving if you are actually interested in getting good. You just have to put in the effort to learn. If you dont like strategy games or using your brain to think then this game is not for you. Overall, its a great game. Yes, there will be times where you will get frustrated, especially as a new player. However, thats part of any competitive game. If you lose a match, you can learn, get better and try to win next time.
By far some of the most fun Ive had on a Pokmon game and we can download it on our iPhone one of the best apps Ive downloaded.
We think that the Collect from Pokemon Home feature should not be implemented in this game. We love the fact that it is not pay to win and relies more on actual skill and Pokmon logic. If the goal was to not have a pay to win aspect then also allowing entrance to preexisting Pokmon from different games seems counterintuitive to us. Things will tend to get unbalanced we feel.
Ive been playing pokemon for almost 25 years. This is the battler that we have been waiting for. Overall, minimal bugs, reasonably FTP friendly, doesnt overheat our phone like the TCG app does, and feels good enough on IOS that Im fine our ex gf still has our switch. All jokes aside, if youre new to competitive/ladder, or spent years on Showdown, this is one of the biggest successes in years from Pokemon.
