A Glimpse into Pool Ball – Classic

Play the classic 8 Ball Billiards game now on your phone and tablet!

The objective of the 8 ball cue sport is to pot all of your set of balls, either stripes or solids, before your opponent. Whoever pots the black ball first after potting all their other set of balls wins the game.

Game modes:

  • "Play vs. Phone": Challenge your mind by playing against your own phone or tablet! Will you be able to beat the AI (Artificial Intelligence)? This is an ideal mode to practice your pool skills.
  • "Play and Pass": Play against your friends or family like a classic game of pool. Two players get a turn after each other. This multiplayer variant is played on a single screen!

This game follows the US 8 ball rules. A player is allowed to continue in his turn until he makes a foul play:

  • No balls were hit
  • The ball of the opponent was hit first
  • No balls hit the cushion
  • White was potted
  • Black was hit first before all of the player’s balls (solids or stripes) were potted

But its ok bc when playing against the phone you can disrupt its shot with your finger.

Good graphics,accurate aim and fun!,,

This game is so fun we really like it its so satisfying.

This game is really good and everybody should try it.

Please update and add sensitivity level percent to 100 in settings thanks.

We really like this game because the beginner is a really good start off and the level hard it takes some time to get used to but over time it eventually gets easier and easier to beat and thats what we like in a game and we looked at other games, and this one was just the best choice to get it close to how it would be in real life and the other pool games that we saw were not really what we were looking for. We were looking for one of those classic games that you can play with other people but its not like like a confusing game to try and play with them we also like this game because you never really get bored of the online pool game but sometimes when you play actual pool, and you might get a little bored from it but this one online you keep you entertained while youre playing.

The line guides are difficult to keep stable.

When at the doctor’s office with nothing but "The View" on the TV; when your flight has been delayed another 2 hours; or you need to decompress and relax before that important interview, this 8 Ball game punches the ticket! It keeps your mind active enough so it doesn’t go numb, but it also keeps you relaxed. It is free, so try it and see if we are right. ENJOY!

This is a fun great app. We would easily pay $3 to $5, just to have a fun app for shooting pool. It works great on an iPad Pro.

We think this game is pretty good there is no bugs and we think beginners would really like this because we feel like its got a good match for beginners because you can play with bots. They give you an option for beginner, normal and hard and we really recommend it if youre wanting to get into 8 ball pool.

This is a great game to sit back and play 8-Ball. Granted, we always play the Beginner level but we might bump up later. Want a freebie with good graphics and good gameplay? This is for you!

Simple awesome game of pool. Great job guys.

If the game followed the rules of 8 Ball, we would have given it five stars.

The game freezes for about 3 seconds after just about every turn, rendering the screen useless. Also the computer does not move the ball when black is hit, white is potted, etc.

This is a fun way to practice your shots and/or play with a friend. We have two issues with the app why are why we gave 4 stars and not 5. The first is that you have to be really careful to make sure you hit pause because if it gets touched or moved or anything, it completely resets the game. The second thing is when we play in normal mode the computer does a good job getting shots against us. Then all the sudden it doesnt. It feels like a five year old stepped in for a few minutes to make really bad, not realistic shots. So we wonder if its just letting us win.

There is a lack of consistency in the way the balls roll. One time its too hard next time too soft.

So we were playing the game but then it restarts us and it is annoying but other than that we love the game!

Aiming cue stick is way too touchy.

We played it once and was able to change the ball colors to yellow and red we think instead of the normal stripes vs solids and then we deleted the app because we wasnt able to change them back. Now Im stuck with the stripes and solids and want the other color choices back, but we are unable to change them or figure out to. Im not sure if it was a random glitch or something but we havent been able to find that setting to change the colors ever since, only the table color.

The game is fun to play but we cant find the rules anywhere. Slop shots are accepted and when we put a stripe and a solid in on the break we have never heard of it then being the opponents turn. If youre looking for regulation style play, this aint it.

The aim and ball action isnt the same as real pool.

The title is about the fact that nobody else doing this needs to know the percentage of their losses, since once you have lost one game it does not matter if you win the next 300 your percentage will look bad and every time the game is over you get your nose rubbed in it. The other difficulty is that we often sink a solid AND a stripe on the break. We should get to pick which we would prefer to chase but we do not get to shoot next !! If we sink the Eight Ball on the break, do we win the game ? Finally we hope you can develop 9 Ball and/or Snooker as well as this one. Thanks, J. D. R.

We play this a lot and enjoy it. A couple of things. We cant play Spotify/music and it delays a lot. Its like the graphics takes a bit to caught up. We would like the option to turn the sound off and not the volume all the way down.

It is a good game overall, but we are not sure if the developers intentionally plugged in cheats in the code. After having played a while, we realized that the gameplay is a bit predictable. When you play against the phone, it feels as though you are playing a scripted game in which the winner is predetermined based on the winning averages. For example, you can make two shots from the same spot, at the same speed and spin, and you get different game response. This kind of kills off the mood as you start the feel like the AI is messing with you by changing the game response to manipulate the natural flow of the game.

Super fun to play but it can get laggy (freezes up when youre aiming for up to 5 seconds) and the levels arent super accurate.

Besides being free its ok at best. Want really cool pool? Pay for it.

Wish we could just line it up and stop it, but when we lift our finger it moves. We spend most of the time trying to get it lined up and stay to shoot. The cue stick moves way too much.

When trying to line up the shot do you stick is really sensitive its hard to control.

Not bad for free, but it keeps missing balls we’ve already potted. We’ve cleared the table but it stills shows a ball needing to be hit that isnt on the table.

All bank shots we tried dont work and believe us we know pool. Your banks act like dead banks on a bar table – this game is worthless.

The rebounds off the bumpers and balls are all wrong; balls actually change angle slightly in mid-roll; power is hard to gauge and inconsistent… This game is just a mess. And a pet peeve of mine: balls that sink slowly into the pockets as if the pockets are full of oil. We’ve seen that in other pool games too. Why???

Guide lines dont shoot as shown.
