POOLS isn’t a traditional game. it’s slow, reflective, and intentionally uneventful, perhaps a bit like virtual museum.
So take your time. Breathe. POOLS unfolds slowly, rewarding patience and quiet attention.
No monsters chasing you or jumping at your screen. Yet it can feel oppressive at times by invoking quiet fears of getting lost, the dark, tight spaces and the strange beauty of liminal space architecture.
There's no typical story. But as you explore and advance further, you start to notice that the game's world changes around you, deeper you go… Rooms look and feel… different.
Base game features six chapters, each lasting 10-30 minutes.
Inspired by the internet phenomena Liminal spaces, Found footage and The Backrooms, especially the Poolrooms concept. One of the original artists behind the Poolrooms concept is Jared Pike.
This game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

The game is pretty fire also where do we find the like monsters cause like we seen a uhh what do you call it something in the water climbing out but we walked away and it went back in and then we couldnt get it to come back up again.
Ive never seen such a detailed IOS game, its very interesting and makes us feel uneasy ngl but that what makes it so great! Definitely recommend if youre interested in the Backrooms.
Why is the character wearing boots in the pools? Thats the only dumb sound is the footsteps.
We love this game. We just wish there were more like it that worked on the iPhone 12.

Ts so good its just peak graphics and the game overall its just relaxing something its just a chill nice game.
We like the pretty water and cool rooms but there's strange sounds and footsteps that aren't yours. There isn't any monsters or anything like that but it's very creepy with out of place objects and sounds. Very fun.
Absolutely stunning graphics. Really enjoying this game spend the 10 bucks, its so worth it.
The game is super good with it's graphics and even better then some PC or console games and the camera movement is insane though you do have to pay for the whole game we'd say it's worth and it's not that scary but also is hard to find the actual exit in the levels since it doesn't give you clues or hints but it's been good so far but we havnt fished it.

This game can be so chill. If our iPhone could utilize this games sound haptics, it would add a very interesting immersion. Imagining our iPhone shake with each bite.
This is one of the best experiences we have had playing a mobile game. We can tell that its creation had a lot of effort, as this just looks and sounds amazing. It is so immersive. Amazing job!! We also wanted to add how we love the controls. They dont get in the way of the play-through, and we think thats really important in a mobile game. Its all so nicely done, and we think it is 1000% worth the money for later levels.
We have no issues except that theres only one of these.
This game is not like other horror games. There aren't really any of what you would call, "jumpscares". Nevertheless it's just as creepy. You may beat level one and think the whole game is like that. Let us tell you: it's not. Every level gets more interesting, and more creepy. You're pretty lonely. There's not much to keep you company besides the ducks here and there, and that statues. The statues are always watching.. Level 6 Is the most eerie and terrifying. It gets darker and darker. The devs are absolutely genius, they know exactly what the player is going to do. The end of level 6 is the first ending. Towards the end you'll see familiar places.. Just to find out, there's not the same. When you get to the ending you'll feel a sense of.. Failure. You have failed and you'll feel lonely, you're trapped.. Forever. But then.. You'll find out there's has been someone.. Or something has been watching the whole thing take place. The mastermind. After beating level 6 you'll unlock the mysterious level 0. You think you've finally escaped the nightmare that has been taking place.. Only to find out it's not over. The water is back.. And it's bigger.. And darker.. With many things hiding below the surface. You'll find a familiar room.. But you've never been in it before. You'll also see a familiar ladder. And when you're about to leave.. Reality crashes. You've failed. There's no escape.. We'd like to thank the devs for making this game, one of our favs definitely worth $10. The only suggestions we have is to add controller support and to make a part 2. The ending of level 0 didn't make much sense. We'd love to see a sequel :).
One of the best games we have played in a while. There is something magical about the shiny white tile and ripples through the blue water. We really enjoyed the quality of the graphics, the attention to the little details to make it feel realistic. And even the momentum on the waterslide felt like you were actually the one experiencing it. As you get deeper and deeper into the game it starts to build a bit more of the creepiness and dread. We hope you guys can make a part 2.

You guysssss, we cannot believe that POOLS is available to play on our iPad! When we first randomly got into any and all liminal space games a few months ago, the POOLS gameplay was one of the first we came across and have been obsessed with it ever since. The game mechanics, sounds, visuals and atmospheric experience is something else and we cant express enough what a masterpiece this game is! We purchased all levels and cant wait to explore all nooks and crannies ourselves and re-experience all the beautiful (and eerie) spaces over and over again – including the slides :).

The real pools game on mobile is insane.
We really love this game. Some of the stuff we would actually like in our real house. We have an album called architecture and interior decorating and we screenshot it a lot of moments from the game. Some of that stuff is really nice. You should be an interior decorator designer, the game is really nice. The photo realistic is astounding. We do have some problems we do wish the map was a bit bigger or there was more areas to explore.
This game is so cool! As a fan of the Backrooms/Poolrooms, this game was right up our alley. We loved the atmosphere, the music, everything. Id definitely recommend it to people who are trying to get into the Backrooms/Poolrooms fandoms.
The graphicss beautiful the ladder being taken was odd uh it was good but you always feel like your being watched its great but we dont like the dark rooms and we hate the part that you have to buy the full game make a part two.
This game is a fever dream. Like we swear Ive had a dream before where Im in this place. Idk what the point is but man do we like it. This game kinda makes you feel like a little kid in a new place. Youre so small that everything seems so big and endless and you just want to explore it all. This game kinda makes of taps into that feeling for us. We dig.

Honestly, thats got to be the best mobile backrooms game. The graphics are outstanding, the gameplay is great (the way the devs made so that every corner and tunnel you take sends shiver down your spine is amazing) and the controls are perfect. No plain jumpscares and big guys constantly chasing you. Its perfect.
Ive only completed the free trial which was very smooth. Might purchase at $5 but not $10.

We got this game yesterday and we played for awhile with our siblings watching us. We never knew how good it was until we got to the hole but before we get to the hole part- we were actually playing this on the bus! We had our headphones on and was very immersed :) but then we heard a deep rumbling noise and got scared so we decided to not scream on the bus and listen to music- but back to the hole. We started playing again and our little sister was watching us! We were at the part with the water maze and we saw an exit sign and said oh look an exit. Once we got closer to the hole in the water we saw hands coming out, we immediately turned off our phone and started playing Japanese music- us and our sister were terrified. But after a while from us having a laughing attack on the couch, we started to play again. We noticed there was another exit so we were scared for no reason- overall, a really great game butare you sure its not scary.
The only free part in this game is the pools biome, everything else needs to be paid. The price is 10 dollars for the full game experience. Despite that, we really did enjoy the game, the graphics are beautiful especially considering its a mobile game, we didnt experience lag, and it shouldnt be considered a horror game but rather an uncanny one.
First off, the graphics are absolutely beautiful, far too good for a mobile game! You can the see the enormous amount of effort put into it, but not only are the graphics extremely well made, but the game itself really is brilliant. Even though there are no jumpscares, the atmosphere, visuals and sound effects are enough to make a player uneasy. What masterpiece, keep up the good work, devs.
Loved this game! It has a very cool underworld feel, and is stressful in the best way. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is we thought the ending was a bit of a let down. The game just ends. There is no resolution. That's our only gripe.
We really liked it but 10 dollars? We think it was too much for a short game. Maybe next time make it longer. If the game was longer we wouldnt mind spending 10 dollars, also give us a flashlight! We couldnt see nothing! Anyways still love you devs but please make it longer next time and maybe through a little jump scare here and there.
Hello Tensori! , we like your game , the atmosphere , the graphic is just perfect but can you make the water more realistic , it just feel fake and bad , if yall can optimized this game with this crazy graphic , we trust that you can make better water.
This game is very well made. Our friend played it and refused to look at the ducks. We love the maze feeling ( and the slide), just wish the other chapters were a little cheaper. We feel like this game need WAY more recognition.
This game is fun but it gives us a bad feeling. So the question is what is the point of the game and why did you create it. But for the viewers reading this its a good game get it.
The game is good and all but we dont think its worth it to buy the rest of the chapters. We think it should be like those story mode games where you have to explore and find the way to the next chapter than buying the rest of the chapters. We mean It is a story mode game, but maybe add game passes like flashlights. Still a good game tho.
