Game is a mess, could be good but you keep starting over and going back through the same things over and over.

The game is a lot of fun until the end. If you accuse the murderer wrong, you lose. Dont think exactly how the app developers thought? You lose. Its pretty much a guessing game. And when you lose you have to go through the entire game again, for no reason. But heres the catch: unless you pay 1.99, if you fail the end and get a game over you have to wait 20 minutes before its over. Until the part where you have to guess the murderer, play on your own but for the ending we recommend using a game guide so you dont have to deal with replaying the game.

Its a really well thought out story thats engaging and interesting to figure out, and the stakes are real (if you get it wrong, it may send you back to the very beginning!) It feels like a case straight out of Ace Attorney. Like a good book that you get to star in.

We are a person who loves to sit down and play a mystery game for a while. This game seemed like it was almost made for us! We loved the suspense and the logic-type structure of the game! Also, contrary to other reviews, we solved it- so, yes, it is solvable, people!

If you like mysteries, this game is a must play. You actually have to pay attention to everything you see or hear, and most seemingly innocuous things can end up playing a major role! What we didn’t like about the game was how there was no way to think of a motive, it would have been fun if we could deduce it too… Instead, the only way of finding it out is in the murderer’s confession. Someone once said a murder needs means, motive and opportunity, and it’s sad that one of those three is impossible to deduce. Another thing we didn’t like is that, after getting the suspect right, you have to think of the one suspicious thing in their story – but most of the things we thought weren’t options! Like (spoilers ahead) how did we find chloroform in the victim’s lungs if it was a suicide? He wouldn’t have been clear-minded enough to kill himself if he had enough to be picked up by forensics. And how would the murderer be at all related to the victim being fired, if that was the director’s fault? Plus we still want to know where that sawdust smell came from, it’s the true mystery of this game lol.

It’s hard to find the solution, but when you find the killer it’s so satisfying!

We had the mystery solved after a couple minutes but because of the frankly ridiculous sets of pre-Chosen things to say it took us over an hour to get absolutely nowhere near where we would have been if we were able to chose our words (It was the guy who cut his arm because he was the most suspicious of the three we didn’t go farther in the game but we believe the manager could also be the murderer considering he was so eager to leave and that being an authority figure he’d be able to blackmail his employees into lying for him.

We have tried selecting every option in the "make a deduction" menu and have not solved the case. We have also selected we give up and it won’t let us. There is nothing else for us to do. Very frustrating.

At the end of the game when you have to find the flaws in the killers argument, if you select the wrong one you have to restart THE ENTIRE GAME!!! Such a waste of time.

This game is so amazingly good! We want to become a crime scene investigator so this was really really good. Five stars!! Now, can u make another?? I’d pay money for it!

We really love this app but we just can’t figure out the criminal!!! We have all the evidence!!! We just can’t figure it out!!!

This is the best murder mystery game we’ve ever played. It’s so thrilling. And the end is nerveracking; as you can not make a mistake(: please make another.

Out there. Actually challenging, opposed to most of the other games we’ve played. Very time consuming. Not very replayable, but it’s been a while since we’ve played it and it’s just as enjoyable as it was the first time. It’s more of a puzzle, as there isn’t any real gameplay. Try it, there’s no harm in playing a good game. Although, like the game says, you really should write down all of the clues as you go.

We love this game… We kept playing until the murderer was arrested and we foun out his motives. Us and our mom both loved this game. Great job should totally make another.

It is such a fun game!!!!! Very challenging!!!

This is a pretty awesome app! We recommend it to anyone into mysteries or solving them. Currently trying to get past final killer. Challenging. Can’t wait to figure it out.

This is the best murder games ever!!!!! Who is the murderer??? If you beat the game, please tell us who the murderer is please!!!!!!

The game is great but…. Who is the bloody MURDERER?

This game was so fun an interesting!! We always thought that being a detective was boring but after this game it made us look at the world differently…. We think we finally know what we want to do with our life!!

The game is good but it’s done when you find the murderer before you know it. Make a new episode and I’d download and play for sure. Very entertaining.

We are a huge Castle fan, and have been looking for a game where you could solve a murder. Most of those games out there are stupid hidden object games, but not this one! We loved that it really made you think hard and that it wasn’t just a quick little puzzle. The app should have multiple cases to solve, though. We want another challenge!

Great storyline. Really makes you think. But near the ending it makes you replay the game if you mess up. Would’ve been better to replay that section of the story instead. Overall it was really fun. Hope to see more in the future.

Really enjoyed it, a little short though.

We love these games, make more!!!!!

This game is challenging but entertaining.

Fun and quite interesting. Not easy, we guessed wrong and accused an innocent little old lady and our career as a detective was over!

This app is amazing. It proves to be challenging and takes some serious thought to finish it. Our friend and we played it together and managed to figure out who the killer was. We recommend this to anyone interested in CSI or Law And Order shows. And the best thing about this app is that it is FREE. Five stars.

It was a good game until the end, where you can’t make a mistake or else You will not solve the murder! We like hard games, but this game needs to be more forgiving!

We liked it. Kept us entertained enough to see if there is another one.

It was very fun and challenging, but it upsets us that if you mess up at the very end, you have to start it all over. We figured out the murderer, but not the joke in their story, and now we have to do it from the beginning.

It was a great game but we didn’t know what do next because it just kept redoing the same questions.

It was awesome!!!! But then to our demise it glitches so now it it not workin ughhhh but AWESOME!!!

We really like this app it’s fun and pretty challenging. Get this app if you like challenging mysteries!

Fun and quite challenging at some parts. But we screwed up at the end and we have to replay from the beginning >.< Cool game though.

Good game and interesting style of storytelling, but the crime is less deduction and more guesswork. Moments at the end were illogical. We love puzzles but there was a "twist" in the story that was basically baseless. Altogether frustrating as hell.

This is a good idea that is fairly well-developed, but after the first choice or two, it really turns into guess and check work. Because there is only one right path, and any others lead you back to the beginning of the scene, the number of dead ends just gets exponentially more frustrating, especially if you mess anything up at the end. Could be much better, but the game concept is too good to call it a flop.

Good but we haven’t bought the full version because once you figure it out its pretty much worthless sceince you know how to do it so if you could please!! Make another one that would be great then we would buy it.

Our reaction to finding out who the murderer is, shouldn’t be a string of angry curses.

Glossing over the plot holes in this murder mystery, the game’s mechanics are just not enjoyable. If you choose the wrong option, for the most part you must begin entire sequences over no matter how far along you’d gotten. Gets an extra star because most murder mysteries aren’t really about factual plausibility, but the creativity of the crime. Definitely creative, here.

This game is horribly inaccurate about how forensic science works (you can’t test glass, lung contents, do a full blood analysis and test a rag for chloroform all at a crime scene. On top of that the options you have make no sense and these deductions are just uneducated guesses based off one small thing. Horrible game that has no logical progression.

This is a pretty good game but if you mess up on any question at the end then you basically are gonna be repeating the same questions over and over again. We still haven’t got past the deduction because the game basically won’t let us.

The plot and backstory to this mystery is well-detailed and thorough, and lets the player have a chance at cracking the case. Unfortunately, some key elements of the the game’s execution are flawed. We felt that it was important to allow the player to have many chances to change their answers throughout the story, which this game did for the MOST part. By the time we were near the end, we correctly selected the murderer- but during the final accusation we accidentally hit one wrong button, letting the killer roam free (I only learned we were right after scouring walk-throughs to make this review justified). We would understand if we guessed the killer wrong, needing to start the game over… But we didn’t. How is that fair?

We can’t even write a review. The app is preventing it… That’s really strange. We were unhappy with the end. One wrong button (which seemed logical and plausible) made the game start over.

We loved this app until the very end when we figured out who the murderer was and we couldn’t prove it because the app decided that the real murderer should get off clean!
