This 3D game has been developed in the context of an international, aviation safety research project (http://hcilab.uniud.it/aviation), aimed at exploring possible new approaches to safety education, and featured on important media such as TIME, Popular Mechanics, Discovery Channel, and Fox News (see http://hcilab.uniud.it/aviation/media.html).
Prepare for Impact is the world-first game that reproduces the experience of real aircraft emergencies from the passenger’s viewpoint, with the highest fidelity allowed by today’s mobile devices. In each virtual emergency experience, the player can try first-hand right and wrong actions that a passenger can take, and see the positive or negative consequences those actions have.
Your goal is to take all the right decisions to come out from the plane unharmed as fast as possible.
The different levels of "Prepare for Impact" depict major types of emergencies, such as in-flight decompression, ground collision, runway overrun, water landing, crash landing, rejected take-off, and fumes in the cabin. Moreover, they are able to simulate the different threats that can make aircraft evacuation more complex, such as fire, smoke in the cabin, water, unusable exits, and others. The latest version of the app also includes a level editor that allows players to create personalized evacuation scenarios.
The game also offers the option of publishing your best evacuation results on world leaderboards.

Hi we you should add more planes to the custom levels.
This is a great game this game taught us pretty much all you need to know about landings and its nice for a game that can be a good game but also teach you life lessons.
We Mean, Change The Plane In The Plane Crash Maker. All Tho, Awesome Game!
We did not get your reponse but you make more realistic animations like in the missions on custom and add aircraft select for custom thanks if you do.
We really like the game its very entertaining and educational theres like no problems but the problem is more aircrafts theres only Boeing 777 and airbus A320 only two aircrafts we would like an aircraft selector for every one to pick an aircraft.
This app is a very helpful app… It helps you understand what are you supposed to do in the aircraft for youre safety.
Its cool because it like tells u what to do if u were in a crash in real life!
Cane you did please add md-11 md-80 and some leer jets in water landing.
We find this very fun becuse it puts you in a scenario that. Most people will never experience in there. Life.
This app is really good,it is a good source of education on what to do during an Aircraft emergency. Just an announcement: we found silly mistake in the Water Landing if you look out the window during bracing,you can see the plane is falling straight downit should be going forward but down,like gliding. Anywaysthis is a really good app to get,I have already recommended it to a person already,the chances of us doing this again are very high. Thanks hcilab. UniudI will use this the next time we go on a flight.
We downloaded this game on all of our electronics and its a good learning experience for kids as well and the good part is that its free we love this game so much.
The air are broken they wont move out of the way and half of them wont stop taking their luggage but this is a good game good to learn some flight safety.
Its really good but when we finished the game we got really bored cause all the levels are easy and there are only.. We think..8? Please add more levels!!
This game is good but have blood and stuff like that so you need to fix that.
This game is so good. We would love to have it. But one thing. We want to have more levels and l want to able to go to the cockpit and bathrooms. Also l wanted different kinds of planes l suggest it a good game.
Us and our brother always used to pretend to be in a real airplane crash, this game gets prepared just in case!

The walking speed is very slow, but we dont mind. Every thing else is perfect. (Even being able to yell at other people if they take their luggage.) This is definitely a FIVE star game! Good job developer (s)!

Very cool game; But it should have more levels, we personally like the game aclot, but it would be much better if it had more time to do something for example more steps. Anyway, we suggest to install the game; Thats good .
We love this game! Its a very practical and useful game. We find it very fun and we have already told our friends about it. The only thing we recommend is that when you choose a random evacuation or make one, there can be an opening like the normal levels where you are in the air and there are announcements. Otherwise, its awesome!
Too much blood But the game is good we took one star away because too much blood we see why this is a 12 year old game but uhhh 0_0.
The students actually did a good job.
So first off, the rounds you can edit go to the evacuation part, not the events that lead up to the emergency like the beginner levers. Next the graphics, well there not bad but not good either. Last but not least, you only have one plane option in the edit levels. If you are the developer please respond and improve the game in the ways we suggested. Thank you for your time!

We think you should add more levels or make the costomize thing have an option to start in air not after impact we finished the game 20 minutes so please add more levels also make an app we’re your the passenger you halfto check in go through security and fly on your flight.

You should make a Pilot switch so you can choose to be pilot or passenger rated it a 5 and please do this.
Maybe it will be better in the level editor to add the other planes in it.

We played this as a child and we are revisiting it now, 5 years later. Considering this game was probably made by a single professor, the quality is incredible.

Please create the prepare for impact version that your a member of the cabin crew because it would be awesome and you get to sit in special seats in the airplane and go to exits and tell if it safe if standing at it.
