We love this game but theres a match game ad that keeps stalling and we have to close our game, restart and we lose our progress.
We love this game. The only problem we have is after the ads finish, the sound and effects go silent. We have to exit the game to retrieve it back.
We love this game and all the different challenges. There is a good mix of easy to hard challenges. The only things that deters us from playing is all the ads. We understand that when you click on watch to add more time that an ad pops up but they pop up throughout then game also. It is just to many.
These Royal Kingdom and Royal Match ads are absolutely ridiculous. We have to watch a THREE minute advertisement for an additional 20 seconds of play?! What happened to the ads being 30 seconds long? And no, we don't plan on making purchases to have our play be ad-free. You just need to do better when allowing your advertisements. UPDATE: AND there are multiple ads that don't grant you any reward even after you have watched them for three minutes. You click continue over and over once the ad is complete and it only ever takes you back to the AppStore download screen.
We give it 4 stars with how much energy it takes on one scene other than that Id give it 5 stars.
Thank you for fixing the Royal Kingdom ads so theyre not unreasonably long. Now there is a new problem ad. Its for the game Match Masters. There is no way to exit the ad. It loops from the ad to the App Store then back to the ad. It wont close. We have to shut the game down and lose our progress. Otherwise we love Mystery Manor. There are so many different things to do so you dont get bored.
We updated our app but it still wont let us play the fitness marathon. This happens off and on with other side quests as well.
This is a game that is great to play while streaming. Very straightforward and easy for all ages. It could benefit from some developer tweaking: diamond bonuses that actually occur when you click on the update & Level 85 in match three mini game does not reflect correct amounts/count on the left side. Blue fish constantly change count. Reproduced several times to the point we closed the game,rebooted ipad and it still occurs. Customer service is done through a texting format in the app and the thought of a pop up, saying there is a reply to view, would be good. Otherwise a user has no clue there is a response. We have made in app purchases over the years but you can play without, which is nice in comparison to games which bombard users with ads. We like the interface of this version best. Works great overall, on ipad.
We dont know if they stopped supporting it or what but the game is totally broken.

Do not waste your time. Made in app purchase and did not get what we purchased. Then we were refused a refund. This game will literally steal your money.

We had downloaded this game, which looked really exciting. With the items so hard to find, trying to play without paying was nearly impossible. We repeatedly told support, and they gave the usual, we care about you and take your comments into consideration, blah, blah, blah (not verbatim, but something close to that.) So sad to share, we just deleted this app, and went on to find a similar game, where we wont go bankrupt. Still looking.
This game is a tool trap, from the get-go! They make it impossible to find the items. Wheres the fun in that? While we may love a good challenge, this is nothing but nonsense. We will be deleting it as soon as we use up the tools, that we quickly and foolishly bought before, giving it a good go.
The game is fun but how come we cant get passed a certain task or whatever, unless we download the game on a PC? We dont have a computer so it should be another way to get the character other than downloading on a computer.
Our favorite part of this game is the challenges and they tell you bye before you can even play them now. TERRIBLE GLITCH.
If you can get past the glitches that come along with every update, this is a good game. The graphics are good and the puzzles are challenging. Unfortunately in order to keep up like most games that are repetitive, they release frequent updates with special events. There is always, 100% of the time, bugs and problems with these events. If you really are into the game and technical glitches make it impossible for you to achieve goals, it just becomes frustrating. If youre looking for a game just to pop into once in a while and play, this might be for you. But dont bother trying to commit.
Stuck at level that Ive played MANY MANY times. Can no longer play as all tasks now have to do with this one level. Evidently not winnable unless you purchase items. Tried the help button but does nothing. Disappointing.
Ive been stuck at the same screen for several days because it cant be beat without purchasing their diamonds in order to trade them for bombs. Only started playing a few days ago and already cant go forward. Who can afford to waste money on games in this economy? Ill probably end of deleting the app as this is it enjoyable.
The game is kind of difficult and thats annoying when it runs based on energy. We didnt play long enough to find out how easy energy is to acquire, but we did play for over an hour and earned infinite energy for 1 hour and 1 for 30 minutes. First off the game kept popping up new stuff/content, and Ive played similar games that did the same thing it never stops. It is nice to have a lot of content but very annoying when its constantly shoved in your face every 2 tasks you finish. Second off when we get an ad it bugs the game out and we cant hear sound after that. (iPhone 13 Pro Max) we have had this issue before when a game has too much going on. If there was a way we could simplify the graphics to where it wasnt so hard on our phone then thatd be great. Thirdly, we dont mind a challenge, but this game should either give more time or fix the way they hide things. They will name off weird things that we dont even know what it is for one, and also some of the hidden items are not only very small but also only partially showing. You can see why that might be a problem if you dont really know what youre looking for. There is a zoom feature but theres an entire room to scope out. Other HO games we played sometimes the scenes would be difficult at first but once you got use to the scene and the items it became easier. Lastly, If we continued to play we are sure the money grabs would have gotten worse as they already started off in the beginning. We dont mind giving money to developers for hard work well done, but we do mind when its done in a way that if you dont spend money your chances of success drop to a minimum. Here you can still win after some tries, but you will waste energy on losing. In our opinion it would be better if these games didnt need to animate every little thing and have a thousand pop ups for buying things, quests, etc. The ad pop ups were already annoying enough.
Royal kingdom ads are so obnoxiously long. Especially when its like watch a 30sec ad and then its like 2 and a half minutes of watching the same ad over again and then trying to hit the x only to be brought to ANOTHER part of the same ad. With the recent update we have not been able to get any rooms in word mode unless we play the same room over and over again. We just played and cycled through echos, parallel and logos mode then maybe Ill get 1 2 3 mode then back to parallel mode again might get twins mode if Im lucky. Also why do we have to have 2 barely different find the difference modes? One with 20 and another with 10 like come on we love this game but its becoming very frustrating to enjoy.
We used to love this game but after a number of attempts at purchasing the Golden Compass for One Year Older, it never activates. Ive had to contact Apple support for multiple refunds. The games chat and support are no help at all. Can this issue be resolved please.
The ads have gotten way out of control. Taking all the enjoyment out of it. Ads that used to be 30 seconds long are over 3minutes noe.
We understand there needs to be ads to make the game free, but the ads have gotten ridiculous! We used to enjoy this game but the length of the ads is extreme! Maybe sell a no ad option.
We enjoy the game, but the ads have become excessively long, and some require multiple taps of xs to continue. The Royal Kingdom ad is about 2 1/2 minutes! And for some reason, a countdown that used to be 13 seconds has jumped to 18. These ads are ineffective, because we hate the companies and games being advertised due to the excessive length. TV commercials are only about 30 seconds. The length of these ads is ruining our enjoyment of the game.
The ads get longer and longer, and you have to keep hitting the x to get through them. Ive played this for so long and have spent a lot of money on it. Its getting to be too much.
Fun and challenging; however, its difficult to get rooms open and you keep playing quests to get keys, but they dont appear so you just keep playing the same rooms.
We really like this game, last week we noticed that we couldnt get into one of the challenges in the game that comes up with the ghostly guy and the male mermaid thats usually dressed up for like Fourth of July or other fun holidays. Major major glitches in this game. We cant play it, we click on the challenges and it does nothing. So we deleted it. Whos in charge of glitches? Someone has some esssplainnin to do.
We solved the first few screens, and enjoyed them, but then they put in the timer. We have stress in our life, we dont need a timer on fun. Its just a personal taste but we doubt Im alone.
The sea contest just finished and the Astral was supposed to start but as soon as it showed up it automatically ended. Didnt even get the chance to play it. This is the third time this has happened and nothing has been done about it and yes we did report it.
This is a search and find game we dont like match games why did you have to include it? Makes us not want to play it and remove the downloaded game because it stops our progress and we cant go any further makes us angry.
We have played this version for the last 2yrs and previous version for 5. This version takes forever to open new rooms, tools arent as fun or plentiful as the old version. Special events are redundant. Its just too hard and too costly to play this version. This use to be our favorite game now its just boring and frustrating.
Lately it does not recharge the energy that gives the third reward of the day. We don't know what happens but the same thing has happened several times and it doesn't recharge the diamonds. There is an error happening in the game.
We absolutely loved this game. We played it every day for months. We dont mind spending some money but as you go along, the game gets harder and harder. The quests take a long time to complete unless you are willing to buy items so you can even play the rooms required. For the full moon, Ive been waiting for the right chargers to drop for over 2 months so we can charge the required collection to advance in a quest. Right now, Im on level 70 and we play and play but cant complete any quests unless we spend quite a bit of money. We understand that the makers of the game deserve to be paid but they make it easy in the beginning betting that you will continue to pay more and more. Im out.
We had the Christmas room for all of one day and it disappeared! What gives.
We hate the time limits and small limits on moves. Esp when you fail then have to use more energy to try again. If you fail a few times working it out, then you dont have energy to try again so the whole thing feels just like failure lol. Not relaxing at all. We otherwise enjoyed the game but could not deal with the short time/move limits we felt more stressed and pressured and we like to use games like this to de-stress, work out problems in our own time, and have fun. This wasnt it.
We have been playing this game for years. When the events are the same room as last year the room level needs to be reset. We cannot even play the Amusement Park (Halloween Event) because we are on the last star level and this has the shortest time. Update same request please reset the event rooms. We cannot even participate in playing those rooms. We would have to use all of our boosters. If you are going to recycle the event room reset it to the lowest level. Game is super boring now.
This is the game for you. SO. MANY. ADS. Takes forever to get through a level, to try and earn any coins, or unlock anything. A watch this ad popup every time you do complete something. We finally gave up. Its like spinning your wheels.
Most recent update?! Videos freezing! Being forced to watch same video multiple times. Worst part still didnt receive lasers or extra time on levels! This started happening multiple times on our second day of Updated Game with summer beach player. Please take a look into this. Thank you.
Game has stopped giving us rewards for all the daily tasks. Some we get, but not reliably.
It doesnt work we are about to delete it we are getting frustrated.
We wanted to like this, especially because there isnt any of the kind of things that tend to jumpscare us (think, among other things, items suddenly popping in and out as an indication of where they are). And we different variations that are used. But we cant say Im a fan of the time limits that are put into play after only a few searches. We get that a couple of the achievements depend on failed searches due to time over, but the limits feel pretty tight and it took us six or seven tries to finish one stage with the Logos room set in part because 1) items are hard to see and 2) no visual representation of what youre looking for. This makes the game feel like a money grab in the respect that you have to stock up on gems, in order to stock up on items, in order to have any reasonable chance of making progress without feeling like you want to throw your device into the wall. We sensed we were close to this, and had to delete the app for now. If you consider yourself a hidden object expert, this game makes you prove it. But if youre new to this style of game, you might want to look elsewhere first.
Overall, the game is very fun, even if it is somewhat annoying to have to search a room multiple times to get the thing you need. Our issue is with the match-3 aspect. If it werent for the match-3, Id rate this game at 4.5 or even 5. As you get to higher levels in the match-3, you get more and more obstacles and it becomes close to impossible to pass a level. In your match-3, you only have 2 power-ups that arent very powerful. You have the rocket, which only takes out the pieces directly next to it. And you have the ours/bomb, which doesnt cover a large area. In other games of this type, they have more power-ups that make it so that beating the level is hard, but not impossible. For instance, they usually have a power-up if you match in the shape of a T or an L or a square. And they have ones that can take out a whole row or column. With only 2 power-ups, many obstacles, and not enough moves per level, your match-3 has become almost impossible to beat. This is extremely frustrating when you cant move further in the rest of the game without getting the objective item in the match-3. Especially if you finally manage to pass the extremely difficult level and then you dont get the thing you need.
We really love this game so much. Ive been playing well over a year !!! When we first started playing this game, they only had ads if we pressed the space to watch an ad to gain an time or to double our winnings. Which we used quite often. So we were already watching plenty of adds. But then an update went through quite some time back and now when we hit the x after we won the level it will gives us an add anyway!!!! We are so frustrated with it!! It seems to be more and more often. We delete games with adds but this one is one we loved before it blasted us with adds!!!! Bring back the old days!!!! A absolutely hate the adds shown! A lot of them are disgusting and we are playing a hidden objects game and not stupid shoot them up zombie games!!!!! They are terrible!!!!!! Gross!!! Disgust!!!!! Stupid.
We absolutely love this game, the look, the roomsit is just what we like.but as an older person who just wants to play to keep their mind sharp, we find the timer annoying and unnecessary. There should be a way to turn it off, there are lots of people with different abilities in the world and cant hurry but would enjoy this game. It is time for game makers to realise the potential of their games if they have ability options.Also on an iPad, with older eyes, seeing things on the very edge of the screen is super hard and easily missed. We dont even mind the ads as we cant pay for any games as we are on family share and we are not asking our son to pay for them.
Having to switch from Facebook to another device has been very difficult. While we were able to download the game on our phone, the window for us to put in a link code is not working. The moderator for the game only copied and posted the same thing the game said to do. No help whatsoever.
We love the story lines, there are multiple, and the characters. We also enjoy the variety of play.
You need to find items to progress. There shouldnt be a timer on finding the items.
