There is a meditative quality to the Puzlkind app. The paintings are beautiful and the more we look at them, the more we see. The mechanics of the puzzling is impressive when pieces stack and tilt. The controls are quite intuitive, though it would be more enjoyable on a larger screen than our phone. The ability to start a complex puzzle, work it with a friend who might be across the country and be able to 'put away' the not yet completed puzzle without giving up a flat surface in your home is a GREAT bonus. We look forward to engaging more friends in collaborative puzzling! It's SO much better for our mental health than social media. We highly recommend.
Not only is the artwork stunningly beautiful and complex, but the engineering of moving the puzzle pieces is elegant. We love being able to collaborate with others or work solo and choose the difficulty level! If we just want a quick easy one, we can pick fewer pieces or go for a more difficult level. Its interesting to see the detail in the paintings through the pieces. We only wish you could enlarge the picture after completing to see better (at least in the phone version). Puzl tov on an amazing app.
If you think puzzle apps are easy, put that idea behind you. From the amazing artwork by SJ Lapp to the ability to select the number of pieces, this game meets the best definition of a puzzle! Lapps paintings and puzzles bring people together one piece at a time in a most enjoyable way. An all-around winner.
Ive seen this wonderful puzzle game working on others iPads, but it wont open on ours. Ive tried everything, restarting, reinstalling, and we have plenty of space on our iPad, but it starts to open, goes black for several seconds, then closes. Not sure what to do! If you can get this game, we highly recommend you do. Hopefully Ill figure this out.
This is really an amazing app!!!! It is beautiful, elegant and very easy to use. We chose our first puzzle because we truly love this painting. One of the things we liked best about doing the digital version of the puzzles is being able to zoom in and look so closely at the pieces. It gave us great joy to see all the vivid color and detail and heart that Sarah Jane puts into her work. We really enjoyed reading about the process the team went through to create Puzlkind. We highly recommend it.
We would highly recommend this app to connect with friends and family that youve enjoyed doing puzzles with in the past. We were able to use this app to reconnect with our friend over a puzzle and voice chat with her as we solved a puzzle together. The experience was just like solving a real puzzle with a friend in real life.
