Puzzle Adventure: Escape Room Review
We cant get in the game today. We wonder if its a server issue. Its a really great game! We play this daily ;)
We love the game and all of the puzzles. However, it seems as though its alway nighttime in the game. We cant tell which direction the statue is facing bc the statue and the floor are the same color. It would great if there were contrasting colors on the statue and on the ground so Im not wasting energy spinning the statue. Also, we need to be able to zoom in way more than the game allows.
Its fun but needing energy is annoying.
If you love Diggys Adventure you will probably love Puzzle Adventure. While the moves are similar to Diggys the puzzle are different enough to hold your attention. One major difference it how your life (moves) regenerate. A very enjoyable game.
Great game and fun to play , but you can only play 5-10 minutes then run outta energy and have to wait awhile before reloading and of course if you want to reload quicker you can always spend your money definitely would be a lot better if you could play longer and it would keep your interest definitely not worth downloading just to be let down so they can have you spend money.
Pure garbage well this game is not its really fun and not interesting this game is really interesting.
We like the graphics and the story.
Game has a great look to it, the puzzles arent very difficult, but we despise games where you run out of energy. And we sit down to play a game, we want to play it for a while, not 10 or 15 minutes and then have to wait for the energy back up. Its just so frustrating.
We tried to like this since we enjoyed the graphics and the concept of the game. But there wasnt much of a puzzle element to the game. Mainly just clicking a ton to get from point A to B. Plus, the expending energy aspect of the game seemed unnecessary. Just seemed like a way to force people to pay to play.
Long loading time, and too many pop-ups text controls are also terrible.
Talk about nickle and diming to death, this game is very hungry, right from the start. First day, about 20 minutes of actual playtime. The remaining three hourswaiting to regenerate another 20 mins of play. So, about 3 hrs 40 minutes before we deleted the game. This game holds the record of the fastest deleted game in our catalog. Sorry, no prizes to be awardedcant afford it.
We just downloaded this game it looks like a cool game, but it says internal server error And will not connect. Once that connects we will give a better rating. We have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still will not work. Leave a comment when that is fixed and we will try again.

We just played this game for a bit. We were excited for a new game from them. We are not crazy about the graphics. There is too much going on. Also, we hate when games for us to read dialog.

We have been trying to open up this amazing game but for almost 3 hours it wont open. Any suggestions? We have restarted our phone numerous times so that not it. Please help. We miss the game, its part of our morning routine. Thank you.
We love the puzzles in this game. They keep you on your toes and thinking of multiple ways to crack them. We do wish you could actually create your own avatar/character instead of picking one.
We just downloaded the latest update and it is not working. It tells us there is an error. We enjoy this game so we would hate to not be able to continue to play.
We want to like this game. We really do. But it FREQUENTLY crashes while playing ads and often locks up our entire iPad as well – causing us to force a shutdown and restart. This happens AT LEAST once every session – sometimes 2 or 3 times. If youre going to force us to watch ads every 5 minutes, at least dont lock up our entire device every other time!
Followed by extreme frustration! You get to play about 15 – 20 minutes and then your out of energy and you have to wait several hours to be energized again. Then it starts all over again. Please fix this! Maybe add a side quest that doesnt require energy, or money, to recoup some energy keeping the players in the game.
Like many others have said, the graphics and story are great, but its hard to get too excited when you can play for 5-10 minutes every 4 hours or so. Then you have to decide if you want to spend those few minutes gathering resources so you can extend your play by a couple minutes or further your progress in the story. Additionally, the energy equipment doesnt grow with you so if you do spend money, the $5 storage equipment that holds 250 energy when blocks cost 6 will still hold 250 when blocks cost 1,000. We keep hanging in there hoping for better balance with each update because the game play is fun and the events are interesting. Its just frustrating to not be able to complete events because theres never enough energy if you dont grind for resources between events.
The puzzles arent terribly hard yet but the storyline is cute and its a nice relaxing game to play thats more involved than a match 3 or an HOP. The characters are fun and the music is nice. This review was prompted by a pop-up request; if our opinion changes, we will update.

We luv this game but so many ads its crazy 2 of the ads lock our we pad up and we have to restart especially Oprah.
We want to like this game, but there are a few things that could be better. Our biggest issue with this game is that you can only select one block at a time to collect. We’ve played Diggy for years and it allows you to select up to 5 blocks to collect in order. We dont see why they cant do the same thing here. Another issue we have is the random ads that will pop up during gameplay. We hate it when Im cruising along collecting blocks and an ad pops up and stops us in our tracks. Probably came from the same person that thought it was a good idea to start doing random ads in Diggy with no reward and then try to blackmail us into making a purchase to make them stop. This person needs to be fired before they alienate most of their players. We do wish we could ever get ahead with some of the ingredients in the repeatable areas. Theres never enough mint to keep producing potions. Other than these issues, we do enjoy the game.
Dont believe the 4.6 out of 5 rating for this game. That was the rating before the latest update. Now the rating is probably closer to 0 or 1. We are at Level 46 and we dont see us going any further without MAJOR corrections to the latest update. The latest update that Pixel Federation bragged about all over Facebook is the biggest piece of crap we have ever seen done to a popular game. Sure we can get more energy but it will never be enough to play longer than a minute or two at a time. Everything costs way too much. Whoever approved the release of this update should be fired immediately.
The game is amazing but there is a problem that almost broke our IPad. We were near the beginning of the 3rd level when we turned on the sound and the game froze. We closed the game and the sound was still playing so we pressed the power button and when our IPad turned back on,I entered our code and nothing worked so we pressed the home button and the screen inched up so we kept pressing it until we stopped and we tried to turn our IPad off. But when we tried, it didnt work until our 11th try but when we turned it back on, it still didnt work so we tried to straight up turn it off like forced to enter code when turned back on turn it off and it didnt work so we kept trying but our IPad turned itself off and that fixed it and Im writing this review right after this happened. We hope this problem is fixed in the future. Devs, please reply to this explaining what mightve happend!
Crashes iPad requires rebooting after watching ads. Dont recommend.
The toons could be made more sexy for the boys, but otherwise majestically beautiful 3-d game with minimal ads, and even better tHn Diggys 2-d semi adventure with a gripping plot and fun fun fun fun, fun puzzles etc.
We cant believe the level of detail in a fee to play game! Beautiful graphics, smooth gameplay, fun story. We cant compliment the developers enough! Great game!
