Wargame Korea 1950 Reviews

This game is absolutely great. It brings such realistic historical playability to your device. We have spent money on all the ww2 games by David Kershaw, and he makes good stuff. We would like to see updates to the apps like in graphics, descriptions, and a few other minor things, but overall this series of games are great. Please make updates to the games.

Great concept of a game and it is a true shame how the game is filled with bugs. Map is covered in green and U.N. Wont come. True shame and a waste of money. Hope developer fixes.

We love this games unique division system that makes the game a lot more realistic.

Excellent recreation of a cardboard counter war game, but having a lot of trouble getting all the map to show up. About half of it is just green. Im using an iPad. Trying to switch the graphic settings, but no luck so far.

This is pretty neat…… We were hesitant because people said the UN reinforc,Mets dont show up but they DO! Lower right corner… Might have to resize. Could still use an update. Be nice if the naval forces could move. More likelihood of Russian intervention. Also the US 45th Infantry Division (OK National Guard) does not show up and they played a prominent roll in the war. Would love to see some modern or hypotheticals with this. Central Europe in the early 80s, Desert Storm (with option for Iraq taking Saudi in late Aug 1990).

Sept 2018: Still broken. Tried fresh download. C’mon David – get it together buddy. 2018 Update : Game is broken since last update. No map. Units floating in green. Please fix. Old review: Good work. So very few real war game designers on mobile. Interface for Korea made the sale for us. Update the rest of your games so that the interface matches Korea and we’ll buy them too.

Fun game, and a great idea. We just dont like getting interrupted when Im out of turns. You know? We want to enjoy the game.

We’ve played this game on Android, and it is a very good game. With tha apple version, the map will not load correctly. It shows up sometimes as a patchwork, with partial game map. It looks terrible and basically makes the game unplayable. Sometimes the map is no map at all, merely a solid green background. This is surely fixable. We will rate this game much higher if we have an actual map to play on. But for now.

The game is great when it loads but 90% of the time the map doesnt.

When we downloaded this, the ENTIRE MAP was green. Please fix this bug.

Great game except we cannot get the UN forces to appear. Tried setting options to UN reinforcements turn 5 also to random. Makes no difference, they never show up and you end up always losing the game by turn 15. This needs to be fixed! Update Now rated 5 stars. Found that UN reinforcements do in fact show up on what ever time frame you select under options. We found them showing up on the screen at the far right corner of the screen. You have to move the menu bar at the bottom out of the way to see them. This should be made clear in the instructions. Great game, worth the money.

We began playing the Poland scenario and at first the game seemed very simple, but after a couple games we began to see its depth. We just finished playing the game as South Korea and had a great time. Anyone who liked playing the old board games like Stalingrad or war in the east would like this game.

Accurate recreation of the Korean War. You can play exactly as the Korean War unfolded and test how new strategies would have affected the outcome. Replayability provided via options to modify the likelihood and timing of intervention from Soviets, Chinese and UN. Fun managing supply lines to each army and division. The Chinese and North Koreans must work around serious supply problems. South Koreans must develop a defensive plan and then a beachhead plan for UN units’ arrival.

We really enjoy the war games from this developer. Only war games we play now, can’t wait for more to be released in the future.

Very promising and holds a die hard gamers interest but needs an update for iOS 9. Random crashes make manually saving every turn a necessity.
