This game is loads of fun and we truly hope they add to the game.
Being playing for a about 3-4 years. It needs more seasons or a new story because once complete there isnt anything to do other than wait for wars and machines. There should be a better matching system on the alliance wars. Also monthly heroes are continuously getting stronger. There is almost a 100 power point difference from a regular 5 to the current monthly hero. Seems they go up 4-5 points every month. Making a hero that took months to build useless. But the odds to even get the monthly hero. We think it takes 30-40 summons to maybe get one. Aside from maybe getting one or two other 5 from that current event on that pull.
Will not load after several uninstall/installs and phone resets. (iPhone).
Cant even make it past being a level 2 without having to use resources to regain energy. Literally dont even have 20 minutes into playing this game.
We were having new recruits or advancing them to strong soldiers. It seems the creators dont care about improving this game, cause it is becoming mundane. If it wasnt for our friend in our group, we would had left by now. Dont make the game too hard that we gamers become frustrated. Helps us to improve our soldiers.
IS IT POSSIBLE IN WAR TO MAKE BOTH SIDES USE 36 HEROES? AND CAN YOU BE A LITTLE LESS MONEY HUNGRY? MAKE THE PRIZES BETTER AND NOT SO REPETITIVE! TILES FOR THE WAR MACHINES HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE LATELY! WAR MATCHUPS ARE NOT EVEN! USED TO BE FUN.
Game is no longer fun. There has not been any significant updates. The updates have been only to fix the bugs going on in the game. There are no new levels, no new features and it has been this way for the last two years. This game only seeks a payout and offers nothing back to its dedicated community. In closing this game will probably soon lose its ability to keep people excited for game play due to the developers lack of creativity and inspiration. Anybody playing this game would agree that it is no longer as fun as it was to begin with.
Add the crossover event with free Summons and new heroes please small giant can you do it.

So we also play the other game made by this developer and we have enjoyed it for several years now so when we saw they had this game we decided to give it a shot. It has a lot of similarity with the other but a totally new theme. That being said it still feels fresh to us because its like starting over and since we know more now than we did before we do better. Another thing we like about this game is the people who play it seem like normal people for the most part. People from all over the world and ones that have fun but not at the expense of someone elses feelings unlike many of the pvp games. We also feel we have gotten decent rewards and heroes so far playing free. As in all games with in app purchases for the most part, patience is needed if you dont want to buy in. If you like matching puzzles and turn based battling enemies and bosses you will enjoy this game.
New to this game and so far enjoying it.
So you upgrade your training to level 20 and you have to use a lot of materials to get a EPIC OR LEGENDARY heros why do you get 3 star heros??? Same goes for the weapons come on! You put all that work in to get cheated!? And all that time you have to wait to get them plus it saids training with the chance of epic or legendary heros.
This game is more polished than E&P and plays a lot smoother. For a new player we would recommend this game first. It gives you higher level heroes at a much faster pace (the epic hero ticket at the end of every area is awesome). But, it does still have some of the same negatives, such as way too many pop-ups and an awful story. But, we still find this game really fun and recommend it.
Our family loves this game. We all play on the same alliance and its definitely a bonding experience. The only thing is it gets frustrating and hard to keep everyone interested some times. Just one thing Id suggest would make the game a little funner and a little more to do when you have everything finished, would be if alliance team members could exchange heroes. A lot of us have multiples of the same hero that others dont have. It would be cool to be able to exchange with others. Would definitely make the game more interesting.
We have never seen any of these childish garbage mini-games in Puzzle Combat and why would you put that as the screen shot of the game when the game is a match 3 game. That is very low and pathetic to advertise the game this way. The actual game is great and fun but shame on you Zynga. It made us and our friends quit and never touch it again. We will stick with Empires and Puzzles.
Build you teams right and win dont and die. Have not spent a dime and am advance just fine a little hard but not impossible.
We were a seasoned player in that game for a few years. Spent a little each month and had a blast. Our buddy was F2P for years. Paying will always get you better faster but game is enjoyable either way! This game is the same. We both started back up here vs E&P for a fresh start. Love it. Yea, luck is part of any gotcha game. Such is life. Still great mechanics, love the theme being military based. Beautiful interfaces. If you liked E&P youll enjoy this very much.
You cant play game without alot of pop up ads first!! Super annoying. Hate it.
What was once fun has become unplayable unless you enjoy being annoyed and mad. Raids have become vomit inducing. Out power a team by 600 and lose because one of the opponents heroes s impossible to damage. What is even worse is your opponent dodging EVERY SINGLE TIME..A ploy to get you to summon and try to get that hero to compete. Unfortunately summons are rigged too. You get the same pathetic 3 stars over and over. If you have 2 same color heroes in battle amazingly that color never shows up during battle and the color you dont have covers 50 percent of the screen. Its no accident. Like its unplayable predecessor Empires and Puzzles Im tapping out. Im sure after this game is ruined they will make another money grab. Boooooooooooooo. The latest blatantly obvious rigs. Our healer is purple and magically purple tiles NEVER, NEVER, NEVER show up. Also the opponent dodges 15 times in a row while our team never dodges even while having the skill. Also opponents revive over and over while ours never do. Rigged and sickening. Wish we could give 0 stars. Ruined by Zyngas greed.
At first we thought this game was stupid but we got it and we were amassed. We have never played such a good game like this. Keep up the good work.
Im having fun just building units. Make sure you do farms and metal first! Dont waste resources on heroes below 3 stars.
If ur stuck on not wanting to spend money and still compete with the big bogs simple hack to get your cards leveled up fast..play season 1 level 4 and play the 4th level over n over itll give you alll the boots u need to keep strengthening your cards thank us later.
Honestly, the gameplay is fun and super addicting, but theres very little incentive to play at all unless youre willing to pour money into the game. There needs to be a better mixture of progression and pay to win. Ive received no champions or weapons that have improved our teams long term potential in the past month Ive been playing through normal drops. If we did Id be much more inclined to pay to upgrade our team faster. Its a shame because PVP and PVE are both very fun. Regardless, the developers are still going to make their money, just not from us.
We played with a spend-heavy account and became an elite player, and then we moved on to a free-to-play account for 9 months, playing our energy to the fullest. Here are 3 examples of why this is not free to play: 1) the master weapon event- this event, if you can even complete it, awards 12 tokens. Thats 1.2 free draws per month. The odds of pulling a 5 weapon is really low. Lets assume 2% which may be high. That means itll take you what, on average 4 years to pull a 5 weapon, and it may not even be from the event. Guys, we dont even have a 3 or 4 event weapon yet if that tells you anything. And then theres the fact that these weapons are inferior to the weapon of the month dodge weapons lol. 2) Ive played all the game content possible that we could complete. At level 43, we still dont have the 6 ropes required to promote a 5 red hero. But thats ok we guess because we still dont have a 5 red hero. 3) even once a free player gets some 5 weapons and heroes pulled almost all of them are inferior heroes to the most elite ones that the paying players accumulate. You can save lets be generous and say 800 coins per month. If you want do a 10-pull from a special event, it takes almost 4 months to save. And the odds of pulling a 5 event hero is 1%. That equates to 40 months average time to pull a 5 event hero. The devs can still get a ton of money from paying players, but its time to ease up the restraints and help free to play players compete over time. It will help the playerbase and boost game morale. Please- give them a fighting chance.
We dont recommend this game when you buys the guns or the warriors 10 times in row they never give you one of the legendary guns or the legendary warriors.
This game tries to have you purchase something every time you load it. You will have to exit out of maybe 10 ads to play the game. We honestly thought based on the images that it would be an endless wave game. This is another jewel game with some heroes. Not worth the time. We would not recommend this game to anyone. We played this game for 3 days hoping it would get better but the constant buy now was our decision to uninstall.
Copy and paste from puzzle and dragons. Tutorial takes literally four hours to complete.
Same 3 stars over and over again. You can wait days on end waiting on something and still same ol 3 stars.
This game is much like the other Empire. Where you match the colors and the more you match the more damage you do. While it is a slow burn to actually get started once you progress the games gets easier. If you are looking for another version of Empire, but different this game is your answer. We like that the guns replaces your troops and that you can get body armor rather then a temporary shield boost. Maybe they will add in the ability to have our own zombies as for now you cant keep them. Just like how in Empire you can have the Demon Lord and his minions.
This game was our favorite game, and then one day right as we got a bunch of 5 star heroes it shut us out , and whenever we tried to play it said something like: the server cant connect because of a proxy. So we can never play it.
The game is awesome problem is when you spend money on coins knowing it isnt cheap you get 3 star fighters and weapons like come on idk how many times we spend money and got coins for low level items almost a year playing and we only have two 5 star fighters and one 5 star weapon honestly the 4 and 5 stars should have their own category thats our only issue other than that good game.
When will there be a way to exchange multiples of extra 5s for a desired color/hero? After years of playing Ive acquired multiple amounts of 5s for all colors except green. Still only have one green 5*.
The game is just average! You spend money on the game, only for it to cheat you in battle with a lower power opponent beating you. There should be an option to purchase individual characters to build your team. The algorithm needs to be adjusted to properly match opponents in battle. An opponent thats 100 power less than you and less trophies, shouldnt beat you. (Just our opinion).
Requires you to spend money if you want to level up. If you dont continuously spend money you will continue to receive the same low level players and rewards.
There seems to be coding in place that changes percent available of tile colors based on the colors aligned to your heros. The game states random, and when you spend money to build up heros and then the game does not act the way it is advertised it brings into question if the advertising is misleading. Our thought is that if there is an audit of their code that shows bias in the tile generation any who spent money should be entitled to a full refund of any money spent. Apple should be policing these behaviors as well. Could be a candidate for a class action lawsuit in our opinion.
Okay, this game is not bad for puzzle solving but spending time upgrading training buildings to level 20 is a waste of time. All the updates has taken away any chance of getting legendary hero. It only guarantee rare heroes which they already have 5 levels before legendary heroes. This is poor business practice and also false advertising. DO NOT, put legendary hero title on level 20 hero training when it only gives rare heroes.
First and foremost Yes, like many games micro transactions are offered but this game is not pay to win. There is not a wall you are going to hit if you dont drop money on the game and there is not a single hero or weapon that you absolutely have to have. We think what some people dont realize is regardless of if you spend money on this game its a game of patience its designed to to take a while to progress and acquire loot. This is a great game to pass the time and work on slowly. We plan on playing this game for at least the next few years. At its core this is a match 3 RPG game with easy to understand gameplay elements. There is an extensive list of heroes you can acquire and plenty of variety when it comes to strategy.

We had an involved situation where Apples GameCenter overwrote our account when we moved to a new phone. (we recommend turning on both iCloud and gamecenter before installing the app on a new device). Puzzle Combat support very patiently ironed it out for us. Im back on the road and just wanted to say thank you! Everyone deserves a raise.
Why is Zingas website offline? We have tried now to contact them for the last 3 days. Do not waste your money on this! The game will take you to a certain level and then stop giving you anything to advance.
Its just a great game overall and makes time pass if you need and its a great way to interact with people and its a fun game that involves some strategy and team work.
A lot of the mechanics are the same but the game has its own wrinkles that makes it fun on its own right.
The game is very good and fun. It is like clash of clans in the way that you need to login every day. Other than that it is super fun dont be scared to try it.
Game does not provide enough powerful heros unless you pay for multiple summons. War tends to be unbalanced. End up facing teams over 1000 power than your team. Does not supply to important items to level up the heros. We have one account that for one year now we cant gets its power over 1100. Cant go to war with teams that low. Plus that base is maxed, nothing else to build. With tower always full we get raided on that base at least 10 times a day. So that base is whats called nerfed. And the support team does nothing about it.
Overall good game, just freezes when you go to watch clips to get some extra items.
We typically dont play games on our phone, but this game Im addicted to. There arent any ads that make you stop playing the game. You get to choose if you want to see the ad(s). Very well thought out. Reminds us of Command and Conquer.
