This is the type of game thats really entertaining, however its easy to lose track of the day while playing. So play it, but be careful not to lose track of time.
Ive owned this game for many years and played through it several times. There are no other games quite like it – Im always looking for another match 3 with this depth and playability. If you like thinking a bit more strategically than the candy crush type games, this is the game for you. Love it.
This game is just amazing, every-time we play it we feel more full-filled, download it right now.
We have been playin this game for around 6 years. Making finished products to sell to the NPCs is a great mechanic and keeps us coming back. This game already has a lot of content and is clearly a finished product but, It would be nice if the game was updated to fill in the rest of the screen. Still trying to discover how to make all the legendary weapons, made one on accident and have been workin towards completing the set ever sense. 10/10 would recommend.
We've had this game for several years and thought it wouldn't be on the App Store by now, but we were shocked to find out that it was not only still here, but also only had 73 reviews! Honestly, we couldn't recommend this game more. It's stayed fun for several years, and though we don't play it as frequently as we used to, it's one of the games that has stayed on our iPad the longest. We love this game so much.
Best puzzle game ever. Been playing for a yr. Still love it. Only one problem. We dont have enchanted slots. Always did before. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled we think theee times. We keep losing the game on account of not being able to give our heros enchanted weapons. We hope that we can fix this.

Couldn't really stay away from the game. You guys really should do a third one in this.
We might binge this game until we feel a little bored. It takes a LOT of game hours for that ;) Then we go find new puzzle games, give them a try, and rarely find one as satisfying as Puzzle Forge 2. It's been years now, and we just keep coming back for more.
In a genre stuffed with lame match-3 clones, this game stands out as an actual puzzler! One where you have to plan an increasing amount of moves ahead to stay alive, and when you lose its from lack of foresight rather than the cheap randomness so rampant in mobile games these days. And it helps that the RPG blacksmith flavor is applied beautifully. Get this game and challenge your brain.

Overall, a great F2P puzzle game. IAP aren't required to play. Ads can be a bit garish, but aren't that bad. Creating tier 4, 5, and 6 ores is painful (e.g. 81 tier 1 ore to make one tier 5 ore), but we think the intent is to manage your money so you can buy items to help. Definitely worth a try.
We love this game! We've been super addicted to it since downloading it in late 2014. It's the only game on our phone actually. We're not a big mobile gamer. Ever since the update that has added the tournament every season = BEST simple mobile app game ever.
We have barely been able to put this game down since we downloaded it. We've been playing it more than PS4! This game is beautiful and intuitive and just frustrating enough. Really clean and unique mechanics and fantastic animation. We're a free player, and the ads absolutely do not in any way interfere with or detract from the gameplay (we have NEVER said that). You can run this forever without a penny. This is a call to action. Raise this game up.
This game is great but pretty adictive,thats nothing its still the best puzzle game fo us.
Has far more depth, originality and personality than any match three game we've played. Fun addictive and not quite as mindless as other options, not only does strategy become an important element later on but the game gives a sense of control and accomplishment. Puzzle forge 2 even has variant game modes and after playing it for days we're still finding new features and learning new tricks. Totally worth your time.
Cant believe this game never got more popular. There are definitely some issues and nothing screws you up more than the sausage trio but we cant stop playing this game.
It is an amazing game. It is so much fun and super easy to get hooked on. We would say that when the board fills up and it says game over, it would be a lot better if it would give you the option to try to use something from the shop to fix the problem. We were playing and accidentally filled one too many spaces and the game ended after we had worked so hard to create a weapon for an exceptional customer. We had everything laid out and if we had the option to use something from the shop we would have been able to win the game.
Really fun game, helps pass the time. It's unique in it's gameplay and has enough content to keep you focused. Making weapons is fun and challenges your mind; you really have to be smart with your ores and all. One BIG downside to the game; the crashes. We've had to restart 3 days because our game ended up crashing past the ad. It is aggravating when we worked hard to past a day then we have start all over again. One thing we left out: surprisingly, it doesnt sap your battery. It was dead at work one day and we practically played non-stop and our phone still managed to keep 20% by the end of our 8 hour shift. Still, the crashes still occur and it irks our mood sometimes.
We dont know if this is just our phone, but sometimes the game glitches and we can be a 0 lives and still serve customers. Also, our money has glitched out before and we can buy anything with a price lower than the money we have and it wont go down. Also when Ive tried to hand equipment to someone before it glitched and froze and we could still interact with everything else but the person. Still its a fantastic game and we would read it higher if these glitches didnt keep happening.

This game is great and all, but about a year ago we purchased enough wisdom crystals for all the upgrades. After we beat the game and connected it to Facebook to save our progress we deleted it. Now we redownloaded the game and our progress was gone. We were like "no biggie, we'll just start over and restore our transactions." But when we did, all we got was the ads removed and a free 1000 G. We want our game purchases restored since we lost good money. Anyone who is interested in getting this game should be careful with their money on this. You may lose it all with no compensation.
It says its 9 years and up. We think parents should know that if you were to read some of the comments thats the characters speak its filthy foul language we wouldnt want our child reading very disappointed.
We thought this game was wonderful until it suddenly threw the most rage quit inducing difficulty spike we have ever encountered at us and wouldnt even let us take a fail and keep playing.

This game is very well made. At the begging you'll have to get through the crappy tutorial, (that doesn't teach you anything) but after you fail the first 9 times, you should have learned how to play the game. And after you learn how to play, it is an amazing game. It always keeps you on your toes and leaves you waiting for the next day with thoughts like "do we have enough money?", "should we buy extra iron?", "should we use our wisdom stones for more health or more money?" and "when is the next boss customer?". But we do feel like this game can be improved slightly, it could use a much better tutorial. But we still recommend this game to anyone who doesn't have it, so if you don't have the game right now, DOWNLOAD IT.

We played the first puzzle forge and loved it.. The second is even better. We are seriously addicted to this game.. And we're okay with that :).
We like games like these especially mining games but there hard to find anyway this is a fun and addicting game we can't stop playing it.
Absolutely addicting and a well crafted game. It's not buggy or crashes.
We like it although it's really hard to get weapons above gold status and only once have we ever gotten a partially crystal weapon.
If you could somehow tell us how to fix the game because ours crashes and only allows us to enter the tournament and we have failed that round of the tournament but the game thinks we still have moves when we don't. We just need to know how to get around this problem with out uninstalling the apps and getting it again and completely restarting.
It's difficult to classify this game. It's part crafting, part puzzle, part strategy. It's like Candy Crush and a crafting game had a baby. A very confused, unfortunate baby. The tutorial doesn't do much to coach you along (poor UI design), and there's no try again feature, which introduces a serious "dead-man-walking" problem in that you can fail but be unable to reset or restart. It's a game with potential, but it's totally buried in frustration. At the moment, it's a D+, but it could be better.

We love this game we've been playing it for about 6 months now and we already beat it twice. We would really enjoy another game to this series to come out, one with maybe a difficulty option you get on start and not forced on you in the new game+.

This game has given us severe arthritis in both our thumbs from forging weapons nonstop. Gameplay is challenging but easy to understand, and although you make the same types of weapons repeatedly, the gameplay never loses its appeal. Try it and if you like it we suggest getting rid of the ads because it is nicer that way. Absolutely love this game, hope there's a Puzzle Forge 3 in the works.
Ive been playing this fame since its release. Ive played other games but we just keep coming back to the unique puzzler. Perfect for picking up and down whenever! Its infinite stream of customers requesting random items daily mean no day is EVER the same. Endless random puzzle action with autosave, knights, swords, dwarfs, cat ladies… You know all the good stuff. We love this game! We want a Puzzle Forge 3 haha.
We bought the $2.99 Remove Ad transaction before the patch. The Patch brought back Ads and Restore Purchase isn't working as intended.
This has been the most-played game on our iPad, and worth the 2.99 to remove ads…one time only. After the recent update; ads came back, and it won't restore our purchase! It's forcing us to pay 2.99 if we want to remove them again… Update…finally restored the remove ads purchase, so it's right back to 5 stars.
We like the game, but we don't like when skipping ads make it crash l. Please fix this problem.
This game is a really fun puzzle game that is different than anything we've seen before. It has a lot of potential, but it's buggy and it needs some mechanism to make up for mistakes- or the current mechanisms need to be more predictable. It's hard not to rage quit when the game is so unforgiving. And the items in the game aren't very useful. Also if there's a bug with the game- there's no obvious way to contact for help. We'll try again maybe after a few updates.
We downloaded this game then paid to remove the ads. We hadn't played for a while but when we opened it up tonight the ads are back. We're not paying again to remove the ads. This is very annoying.

If you liked Triple Town, this will appeal to you without being the same game. Molds and chains and hot boards bring loads of new strategy to a clever format. This has hit a sweet spot between too easy you will lose and too punishing you will keep your stuff and skills unpenalized when you lose. App purchases have not been roadblocks, power ups are optional and attainable for free. They're also convenient and fun. The lack of greed and pressure appeals to us we've already gone premium and plan to drop more money in from time to time. The fact that they're not trying to force us to spend on them is why we can't wait to. Didn't try to force us to sign up for facebook once, though it has a feature for it. Thumbs up.
There is a small bug with removing the ads. We were able to work around it by uninstalling the game, reinstalling it, recovering purchases under settings, and after playing through the initial tutorial we had no issue with ads again. It appears the ad removal does not play well with the tutorial or exiting during the tutorial itself. There is one other issue that only comes up if you have been playing hours upon hours: the game slows and then freezes. This is quite a fun puzzle game. The static nature of placed items means you have to plan carefully. But even if you end up painting yourself in a corner, so to speak, your overall progress is not lost.
This is a great game after like 2 hrs of gameplay and figuring out what am we supposed to do to get high scores. We would put some experiences of ours to compensate parts that tutorial did not cover. Oh btw, the "2000 possible combination" is a very vague statement, you rarely make equipments that have different level of ores, making the potential equipment level that you will actually make down to 60. (However, fusing different levels of molds to one weapon sometimes make the weapon looks really nice) First of all we think the most confusing part is ore fusing. When fusing an ore of greater quality, the LAST ore you fit in place will decide the position of the new, upgraded ore. When fusing ore that are higher than iron, you need to plan ahead and place the last iron ore in the place you want the new silver ore be, and so on with silver ores. So far we've only utilized up to Gold ores. When fusing ores to a mold, it will consume ALL nearby, linked ores(This do not, however, include ores that are diagonal to the mold without linked by another ore up/down/left/right of the mold), summing all enchantment levels of the ores. (However it do not make a difference to the equipment itself, fusing a mold with 2 ores have the same quality if you fuse one with 8 ores.) Some tips: STASH Iron ores! We have like 30 iron ores and we seek every chance to buy more iron ore from shop. Silver ores can be purchased if you have extra money, and get some gold ores if they are on sale. Buy gems and enchantment/gem dust for emergency uses if you cannot fulfill the requirement of your customer's gem/enchantment level. Buy void block(Or whatever it called, it looks like a blackhole), this can easily solve an otherwise unsolvable deadlock which results game over. It also decrease some major annoyances when you did something wrong. Put up bets! Especially the 8 ores to 1 mold bet, it is very easy. (Ignore ones that ask you to clear all equipment though, we find it especially annoying to complete.) we personally like to upgrade lv2 anvil, weapon rack, magician in academy, since you don't really want to upgrade the ore pistol or master of ores skill if you really are the master of ores. The loyal card and salesman upgrade basically have no effect on your game play, especially the salesman bonus is quite minor.
Why does this game even Have at least 1? Most stupid game we ever played.
