The rules are very confusing. No matter what we do we are told that it is invalid. We LOVE Boy Howdy games but this one irritates us. Maybe we need an 8 year old to explain it to us. Otherwise, Mr or Ms Howdy you are geniuses with your games.if only you would do our housework while we play.
Fun but the letters metered out are often all vowels or none at all. Difficult is an understatement & ive changed letters or abandoned entire games because of it.
We are fairly new to gaming, usually we are put off by all the bells and whistles. We want content that is achievable, with scalable increases in difficulty, challenging but meditative and relaxing. We don't play games to get stressed out fighting the clock. We came across the family of Boy Howdy games completely by accident, and with only a couple of exceptions we have been happy with every one we have downloaded. This game is basically Scrabble with a couple of neat twists. The best one is that the special squares, the ones that can jump you score by letter or by word, move around the board at random for each successive board you play. This makes for some unexpected outcomes and keeps things exciting. The letter distribution is interesting and we are still thoroughly enjoying this word game. Keep the hits coming.
We really enjoy all Boy Howdy games. They are all entertaining and fun to play. No hassle just a pleasure. Ours stopped working so we deleted and started over. Then worked just fine.
Loved it but it began not working – then just Frozen – tried to reboot – finally deleted – don't have time to figure it out.
A great solo scrabble like game.
It's rare to get high score because the letters given don't allow for many words.
This game is impossible, the letters that drop down , you can't make words with them.
Our favorite word game. It's like Scrabble. There are 10 turns per game so it goes along quickly which makes it a good game to play while waiting in line, for example. Great graphics.
Another great game from Boy Howdy. Just wish we could selectively swap letters instead of having change out all seven at once. Otherwise- perfect.
We find that we relax with any of the boy howdy games. Our favorites are the word games. Thank you for the fun we have had with your games.

We have been playing the Boy Howdy games for over a year because they are so straightforward and fun!! They have placed the ad banners in such a way that the player does not accidently activate them over and over interrupting the game. Their advertisers are superior with great offers! Finally they created a long awaited Scrabble game!! And boy howdy is it easy and fun. Thank you so much.

We building up our vocabulary and use our brain and thinking Learned a lot vocabulary.
Game always gives the worst letters and especially duplicates.
Mini scrabble only more challenging since very few multiple letter scoring places.
We like playing against ourselves. We can take our time and make the best words we can. Its fun and relaxing and addictive.
Used to love this game, but recently its changed. Most selections of given letters are full of double letters. Sample of initial given letters of last game: TTRRIIL. We deleted the previous game as the initial given letters included EEOOTTU. We like a challenge, this now makes the game frustrating, not fun.
Im 74 & enjoy doing this crossword for our cognitive health. Altho, it is very frustrating when after a suggestion appears for us to go to other games & we dont, this one quadruples the vowels & makes it more difficult to develop words. Also, Ive been playing for a few years now, but recently Im unable to check our scores. Those are the reasons we gave it a 4 rather than a 5. Thank you.
We love word games, and we love this developer. However, Ive noticed that this game doesnt use a scrabble dictionary for its words, and we cant determine which dictionary it is using. That can be frustrating when words that should work dont, like zen or words that shouldnt work like nyc do, or work one round but not the next. Im still enjoying it a ton though.

Too many times the letters are all vowels or all consonates with no possible plays. Ive become frustrated with game and will delete it after this. You mentioned exchanging letters but doing it a couple of times during one session makes it a waste of time.
When changing letters, we almost invariably end up with mostly vowels or mostly consonants or the same we tried to switch.

Its enjoyable to play a word game that isnt competitive. Its all about making the most of the letters Im given, no pressure.
A player recently mentioned getting Bonus Tiles in this review section. What are they and how do we get them? Also do you have suggestions for increasing scores? We do love this game and play it all the time.
Fun game to play one on one with yourself & leave for appts etc & return to finish up your own game. Trying to beat your previous scores is fun, but you must get the correct tiles to help! Great idea & fun to play, thanks.
Doesnt always recognize American words and/or spellings.
Like playing this game, but 10 turns is a bit too short. Im just getting started and the game is over.
We have played this game for years but have become increasingly frustrated with it. It seems that should we play a high point word early in the game, it begins to give us all vowels or no vowels at all, forcing us to spend a turn or sometimes two in order to have a tray of usable tiles. It seems designed to compress scores into a certain range. Often, we feel that it wants us to outthink it, rather simply enjoy it. That said, it can be fun and almost addictive.
This game is impossible to complete we have tried to make words and several other of our friends are experiencing the same problems. Im highly disappointed and will remove it.

This game will have you thinking and thinking; very challenging.
The unique feature of new bonus tile combinations with every new game, and that it is a solitaire game (Its always our turn!) is really great, plus the modification that was recently added that lets us swap only some letters on a turn changes everything ! We now will start new games over and over until we get a bonus tile alignment where we can hit three or four tiles with one word, then keep swapping until we get the letters we need, and wham! 600 points and even over a thousand a game! Very satisfying.
We agree with some of the other comments, we just had all vowels and a Q (no U of course). Our biggest complaint is that you didn't acknowledge the word Jewish! Why?? We didn't turn this into race, you did. Shame!! We're deleting due to principal.
We have most of the Boy Howdy games and can honestly say we love them all. Q10 is a particular favorite and one we never tire of challenging ourselves with.
Simply love it, we get great scores. So much fun to play with words. Still playing and enjoying beating our own score. Simply delightful.
