Community Insight:
Enjoying playing the game. Recommend if you are nostalgic for old school games.
We had been searching for an old school dungeon crawler with quests and a real RPG feel. We found it. Its a great throwback to a more innocent time in gaming. 5/5.
Production values are modest here, but its very, very nice to have a pocket CRPG with a world-spanning jaunt of hand-crafted maps, with old-school line-of-sight grid automapping. No grand soliloquies or topic-based investigation, but even so, the dialogue is better than youd expect from a title like this. Combat is simple, but has a good feel to it on mobile.
No seriously, its a great game and it scratches that old school DnD itch. Would love to see more like this.
We have played and beaten this game with every character and LOVED every minute of it. Thrilled to have it back so we cando it again! This is one of our favorite games for the iPhone. Graphics are wonderfully pixellated – we are old school so we strongly prefer pixels – and characters in story are great. Gameplay, menus, maps – all just perfect to us. Story is engaging. Well done all around! Update 10/26/24: Playing it again, just updated it. Its awesome. Loving it again.
Wish the navigation was more straight through.
Looks fun, but will not load. After we select our character, we get the little intro and then the game freezes on a floppy disk icon and never starts. It does this on our phone and iPad.
Still have hope for the sequel.
In anticipation of QL2, we dusted this off and played again. Still as awesome as it was the first time.
Beautiful graphics, great old school first person rpg gameplay, and amazing for quick sessions throughout the day. We CANNOT wait for the sequel.
Nice little game. We understood the studio in which it was produced has lost they dumbfounded. Gobsmacked lease. Due to the Landlord s greed. Not sure who owns it now, but if he needs rent money we know a stupendously schtuiupid odd couple on the West side looking for a renter till the end of the year. After that, hes sol [sunshines outa luck]. Nice 4 bedroom, could be five, with some hammering skills. Or even nun chucking skills or painting skills. Pets welcome. No horses, pigs, cows or chickens though. (Current owner has one old 18 year old Feline and one energetic little Guard Dawg) one small baby, no rowdy teenage boys welcome. Has fence, cement pond. Burial grounds under fountain in back and on side with marker saying Cat Crossing. Two beds upstairs with elevator (inside) Jack & Jill with en-suite. Can be wired for separate computer and phone expensive, many trees, mainly Texas Hill Country Oak, one ancient old fruit tree (fig). Current owner thinking about either chopping it down or letting it fruit one more season. Either that or making a cute little bikini out of the leaves for her burial suit. Loud headbanging heavy metal music most welcome ( when crotchety old man is outa earsight. ). Old man is very left brained. Read accountant. Always wanted to be an Art Major but couldnt quite hack the cartooning). But is fairly good at.
Wasnt expecting to be able to play this again, we remember reading about the sequel to this game ages ago. Hope youre doing alright. Thanks for bringing it back.
So happy that the game is back again we have been waiting for so long to see it back again also we cant wait for questlord 2.

Back when this game was only 32-bit, we kept it installed on an older iPhone and iPod Touch, refusing to update because we loved this game so much! Best old-school RPG on iOS handsdown.
This used to be a great game and probably still is if it works on your device. The latest update broke ours. Now we get as far as the loading screen when we start a new game and there it stays.
You have to quit the game to exit menus. Doesn't work on our iPod running iOS 9.32, but works on our iPad Pro running iOS 9.32. Game is okay at best.
After a few days of playing, our saved game is no longer loading. Please help.
The games broken since the 64-bit update and never actually starts.
We really really enjoy this game, however it will not load passed the second screen after choosing which character and name you want! This is the iOS version.
Plz update so we can play on our we phone.
Fantastic! It doesn't hold your hand with an hour long tutorial,no wait ten minutes to charge your "play energy" to stop you from having fun, or any other Mobile game nonsense. Has just the right amount of stats and difficulty to be challenging and actually make you use your brain, without being annoying or unfair. Saves your place when exiting the app so you can do a few minutes of adventuring at a time or an hour. It's an old school action RPG that can be enjoyed by old fans and new alike and you should definitely give it a shot if all those other micro transactions filled greedy mobile games has started to bug you, like they have done to us.
We love this game! Problem is we cant play it anymore because its not compatible with iOS 11. Please update this, especially since we paid money for it.
Yall should update it to make it compatible with ios11.
Please update for ios11 we love this game too much to see it go to waste.
As a longtime D&D gamer and old devotee of Morraff's World, we've been looking for a game like this for ages. How did we not find this one sooner?!? We love the old school graphics and wonderfully simple interface. We love getting lost in the maps and having to draw things out. We love feeling like we're 20 years younger. We played this game all day today. All. Day. We haven't played a video game all day in years. If you love old school dungeon crawlers, do NOT pass this one by. You won't regret buying it, not one bit.
We really like this game. And we're excited for the second one to come out.
We really enjoy this game. Reminds us of D&D. Simple to learn and play. One of the really fun things is choosing a different race starts the game in a different place in the game, so the game can be replayed in many different ways. We played the game through the first time, since then a glitch has developed so we can't teleport with the blue ball, so we can't complete the game. Even when we remove the game from our phone and reinstall the same glitch is there. How about an update.
We love this app, the game is addictive, the characters and storyline are interesting, the control system is easy to use and the style is fun, but after putting 8 or so hours into it we can't load our save file. We've seen several other reviews with the same issue. We can get to the "load file" screen and choose our save file, but then it gets stuck at "loading file". We doubt the creator is still working on this app, but if they are and if they see this, please help! We all love this game and want to be able to finish it.
We just started playing it but this game is fun and has a nice graphic style. Worth the 2 bucks.
This game has occupied us for weeks, exploring the nooks and crannies of the game world. There are three different races with different starting places and strengths for added replay value. Certain important things like "save points" (we.e. Statues) are not obvious how to use. And other items are hidden well. But if you are comfortable using the map a lot and backtracking there is no more fun and challenging game.
Anyone who played the old might & magic or eye of the beholder would love this game.
We have WAY too many games on our phone. We took the time to try this one, AND NEVER OUT IT DOWN til we finished it, several days later. Been waiting on a sequel or a new story from this developer ever since. Hint Hint.
Good oldschool rpg with new style controls and interface. Beat the game, really enjoyed ourselves. Worth more than the asking price, although we think that the current asking price will make more sales. Simple to understand, but not so simple it takes the challenge out. If you like oldschool first person rpg dungeon crawlers with an enjoyable story, then buy it. Should be on apple's editor's choice list (although some of the games we've seen on that list lately look like they were placed there as the result of a bribe or something, so maybe this is best left off that list because it is actually a good game–we wouldn't want to scare any potential fans away by having it on that stupid list). The only downside to the game is it feels a little too short. But for 99 cents, it is perfect.
Good game. Well worth the price and will occupy your time well. Only thing we wish it had is just slightly sharper images. We're all for retro, but "sprites" are just a tad too blurry.
Awesome game! One of our faves it actually helped inspired our game Adventure to fate. Super pumped for the sequel it can't come soon enough.
A truly unique game: a hardcore dungeon crawler that's totally not hardcore at all. An incredible sense of exploration and triumph, that's really easy to pick up and play.
We really enjoyed this game, was a very well spent 2$ probably would of paid more for the great design this game was, obviously has some room for improvement, such as day and night transitions and feel like it's missing some features and perhaps include more side quests but this games structure of a turn based rogue rpg is clean and was entertaining. Also expect to use the map quite a bit. We find it a bit confusing sometimes to find our way around but that's the fun of finding your way through each dungeon.
It's an instant classic! Fun, pixelated, humorous! We're loving it! We only wish there was a rest option that refilled hp/mp in an instant if no monsters are around.
This game is great. Easy to play (appreciate the portrait mode and ability to play with thumb). Great dungeon crawler that will take you back in time, but it doesnt feel dated. Ideal to play while in bed, or relaxing on the couch. Perfect RPG gaming for a phone. This is how you do it.
Love this game but you guys should put some in app purchases to buy gold and what not j/s. But great game.
This game is great. It's exactly what we were looking for. A fun, dungeon crawler RPG like game similar to Legend of Grimrock. Glad we bought this and cannot wait for the second installment! Take our money, guys.
We didn't think there was much to this game but this game will keep u entertained for hour after hour after hour after hour.
But… You have to make it so that you can worship the shrines so you don't spawn back at the start. Or please put a tutorial that explains how to do all of that. Other wise very very fun gameplay and story.
It needs a questtracker like how many more enemy You need to kill.
This is easily our favorite game on the AppStore and we've played many games. Can't wait for more content.
This was a fun game that really scratched that old school CRPG itch that wasn't too complex and easy to pop into and play. That said, at the time of this writing, the game is no longer playable since the iOS 11 update. We really want to keep playing, but right now we cant on this platform.
Dear developer, PLEASE UPDATE.
A retro dungeon crawler that will keep you busy for hours. Pros -diversity of characters and weapons – will keep you busy for a long time – lots of locations to explore Cons – blowed up pixilated graphics – beginners may find it hard to play if new to old rpg's The verdict : considering how cheap the price is its defiantly worth the purchase. A good time killer if you're waiting for food at the diner or just traveling with family. Replay-ability is where it's at despite the simplistic combat features.
When we die we return the the statue in the first town please get a update out as soon as possible.
