Community Insight:
The game is great for casual players, with availability on multiple platforms (PC web browser, android, ios). But we have been running into an issue where clicking on any facilities causes the app to crash, happening only on iOS. We cant verify if the issue is happening on android, and definitely dont have that issue on PC.
So the app crashes when booting up after u log in and its been going on since last week or whenever the update came out roughly over a week for us, multiple complaints bad reviews piling up and as of yet no update? Cant imagine the people who actually spent money on this. Publishers get on ur job.
Congratulations! You took an app that was super frustrating because it crashes all the time and did the only thing that would make it worse, it doesnt work at all now! For the money you expect people to pay in game you could at least make an app thats playable.
We play this both on PC and iphone and we have to say the app / browser hangs A LOT; loading screens that seize up or hang or we need constant refreshes; we clear cache and reboot and all that and its still a pig.
Get gold, pay to win, wait hours for something to finish construction. Sound familiar? Yup. Sometimes we lose faith in humanity because you all support apps like this and we never get real games anymore.
Since the patch a few days ago the app always crashes while loading. Totally unusable.
We havent been able to get back in the game since last upgrade 3 days now. We put our log in it gos to load then kicks us off before it loads.
It would be nice if the game didnt log us out every couple of weeks even though we requested to stay logged in and it would also be nice if we could use iCloud passwords and autofill when logging in. We are currently unable to paste our password Also, anytime we use text replacement when messaging someone the game ads. Any letters are used for shortcuts to the start of each word (ie., Bcbecause).
We played this game years ago on PC and was excited to see an iPhone version of it. We were sadly disappointed by all the bugs both in the app version and the PC version.
Everything seems to be exactly the same, except the tracks & etc on maps is zoomed out too far. It would be nice to have a landscape mode like with the iPad version.
As soon as you buy gold they cancel your account and cannot log on! Try it right now and you will see the game has crashed.
We like this game, but the issue is that the game crashes too much.
Last month they released a brand new version of the rail nation app for iOS phones and one for Google play store. They took an app that had issues. They claimed the old app couldnt be fixed anymore what they replaced it with is worse then what we had before. The app keeps crashing cant make use of parking multiple trains at once which is one of the benefits of buying their plus account. When you set multiple schedules with the plus account the schedules dont take for all your trains another advantage of the plus account so you dont have to do each train separately. The game is no longer fun. If there was a way to give a zero star rating we would. They think theyve made things better actually theyve made it much worse.
Played the browser game and enjoy it. Was going to start playing again so we downloaded the app but it continues to crash. The most we can do is get to the log in screen.
Was having a good time with this game. New update is a disaster. Cant even load to play anymore. Really a huge disappointment.
A recent update has locked us out of ten game Ive been playing for a few months. We attempted to go to the developer website, and fill out their form, however it doesnt work. So Ive been stuck, with no game, or access to the items we purchased. Oh well.
Update 1.5.89 does not work on iPhone.
Fun but issues with app buying packages or add ons. Support is no help at all on this issue.

Ive been playing this game literally for years, and obviously we enjoy it or we couldnt say that. We plan on continuing to play it but we do have a recommendation. The only drawback to the game is a player can only progress in the game so far before the end game comes, forcing everyone to start over, losing all the progress that was made. Its time the game be upgraded to another level, in which a player can continue to grow and expand, adding more cities and stations and evolving. Maybe you could call it Rail Nation: Dynasty, taking the game from the beginning of the railroad into the 21st century. The main point would be to allow those of us that are loyal to continue playing without having to constantly start over and over. Thanks for your consideration.
Seems like a good and fun game, but if we close out the app and try to restart it. The game freezes or wont start back up. We have to delete the app and Download to play again, and restart from the beginning every time.
App keeps freezing/becoming unresponsive both the app and iOS are up to date Additionally tricky to figure out some functions and features of gameplay. Whats worse is we made the mistake of buying a newbie welcome pack and now we cant even use/enjoy it.
Ive been playing Rail Nation for years. However over the past few months the glitches have gotten so bad Im thinking about quitting. When trying to buy a new engine, the engine buying window wont pop up. And the new servers continually kick us off at the worst possible times. Im sick of it.
Google log in needs to be fixed on iPhone. Always have to verify log in every time, we always check the log in box to log in automatically but never works. Loading into the game could be faster. Also PC for performance should be able to work. When selected should have the game run smoothly. Lastly on PC game gets choppy overtime and forced to reload.
For competitive ppl this game is right on the money. You can still make it pretty far up the leaderboards without spending a cent.
This game really has a lot of lag. Always seem to be waiting for something. The black screen with a white circle containing a steam locomotive just goes on and on and on. Come on man, fix this.
We spend more time rebooting the game than playing. Doesnt anyone beta games before publishing anymore? Last update makes ir impossibleto stay logged in long enough to service engines or lay track or pretty much anything. We always try to spend to help support these games but in this one, we are sorry we just upped premium on all our servers. $10 may not mean much but multiply that by 2000 players per server and thats what you are losing in potential revenue by not following basic software testing processes.
Loaded but wont let us play without signing to Facebook are what ever we dont play games that say we have to sign into Facebook ..Thats uncool shouldnt have to sign into play …Uninstalling ..Shame to look like it could be fun ….But never know.
We have reported it to Support already, but still… The app does not start on iPhone 8+ iOS 11.4 since the server upgrade on June 12. Restart, re-install, cookies cleaning never helped. Our world starts today and we cannot control it.
But not monopolizing our time. Good to have friendly interactions with other players. Hasnt yet made us an offer we cant refuse for our real $$$.

A strategy game involving team work. Frustrating and satisfying competition very fulfilling when you capture the #1 goal, after a 3 month build up.
This has to be one of the best train games we played.
The nice thing is can take up a little or a lot of your time, runs on when you cant be there. Glitch free as far as we can tell, no need to spend real dollars but there are some perks if you do.
Similar to Railroad Tycoon which was an old PC favorite. What we very much like is it doesnt take much time each day. It provides the occasional brief escape from a busy life, without being to addictive and demanding of time, like other strategy games. We also like playing in a semi accurate geographical and historical world where your knowledge can be applied, with some allowance for fantasy of course (Galileo Galilei was not employed in the rail industry in the 1800s).
Like to start beef with you and ruin your experience playing the game by threatening you and trying to force you to join them because you exist.
We got as far as step 20 and have no idea of what Ive done so far. Then number 20 wants us to change trains but the button to do so is off the screen and we cant. We have no idea how to move the window or find this button elsewhere so we are removing this game from our system. Good bye.

Every shortcut in the game requires gold. Send us your money. Gotta have that plus account too. Other than that we do like the game.
We played it and we cannot change worlds.
We went through as many usernames as we could and even resorted to typing in a bunch of random letters and numbers but it would always come up with a message saying username not accepted. Pretty bad first impression if you ask us since we couldnt even ACCESS THE GAME.
Came the end game and we cannot login onto a new game world, we were hoping to get into the next game world after the end game in the USA battle but avatar says game over and stops us when we try a new game world. We still want to play but the post endgame issues are screwing things up.
Lots of bugs, support not very responsive to helping. They seem incapable of fixing the problems, and just put off players that complain about them.
Play as much or as little as you want. Great game to pass the time. Simple to learn and it is fun.
This game is so fun! We have no issues at all. The competitions are the best and we love the corporation Im in right now. Theyre all so nice and inviting. Cant wait for the next update.
At the start of the game, Lucy gives you a gift. We press Thanks, Lucy, and we think its supposed to download and be done. However it stays and we cannot this amazing game.
We cant even start the game. We get welcomed and the get gifts from Lucy but as soon as we hit thank you it just spins and doesnt do anything. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
