Nicely presented game, 80% of the time the logic is fine, but very badly flawed in playing logic where your partner plays losing point cards unnecessarily.
Please make it fit newer iPhones better. Otherwise great.
This developer did absolutely everything right. The design is gorgeous. The interface is as smooth as can be. The AI is smart and fair, like a real person would be. And because you can adjust the target score, your game can be as short or as long as you want it to be. The premium price for such a well-made app is beyond fair. And no ads or IAP make it so much better than most games out there. And its good on battery and storage too. We usually wont play landscape games because we dont like holding our phone that way. But Ive made an exception with this game because its so good. Its our go-to solo card game now. Challenging but not frustrating, strategic but relaxing too. The perfect balance. And the win/lose ratio is right, like a game with humans would be. Multiplayer is being added, which some will prefer, but Im glad it plays solo well because thats our preference. We applaud you developer for doing this so well and monetizing it so fairly. We hope its successful. We need more indie developers like you making good game apps. Thank you! We highly recommend this game.
The production here is excellent. Beautiful and very user friendly. Its easy to read the game stats while playing. Our only (sort of) negative is we think Rook/Raven is just an ok trick taking game. Its a classic but there are better ones out there. But at the end of the day its a great app implementation and we would wholly recommend it.
Ive never written an app review in our life but Raven is such a special game, we feel that we have to let other people know! The game is wonderful both strategic but also relaxing. But the scenery and soundtrack make it really unique and pleasurable. Its thoughtful and gorgeous. No idea how this special game wasnt at the top of every best of 2022 list. Would love to play additional games by this developer in the same style. Thanks for such a lovely game.
We wasnt sure what to expect from this game on a mobile device but we love it. The game is fun and the music and illustrations are great.
Raven is everything we could want out of a card game app. The design is gorgeous, the music is calming and unobtrusive, and the gameplay is smooth. It is this app's simplicity that makes it shine. You can adjust the sound volume, the music volume, and the winning score. That's it. Raven takes the base game of Rook and implements it perfectly.
