Community Insight:
Yes, the game has glitches, but it is one of the best open world mobile games Ive ever played. We have never had an issue with it that made the game unplayable.
Honestly Im not sure why we love this game so much, but Ive been obsessed with it for a long time. Its got a certain charm despite not having the best graphics or anything.
This is a wonderful game. We love this game so much. No need to use money. However we did not feel like grinding for money today and decided to make a 5000 gold purchase, however we have never gotten our gold. Please either refund or give us the gold we bought. Thank you again for this magnificent game.
This game has a great story, kind of like reading a book tbh, definitely would recommend if you like fantasy and open world games.
Still one of the best RPG experiences ever made for iOS. And runs beautifully on our new iPhone Pro Max.
But the story is too short, and the quests and builds are not enough. Also, There s no special powerful crossbow and no magic for range attack, what makes stealth bow build incomplete. Compared to Aralon, this game has less skill but better action. So maybe you can make Ravensword becomes open world action rpg game, rather than make it similar to Elder Scrolls. After all, its only our thought. Anyway, we hope the Legacy can come out in the near future.
The game overall is really good. There is a major shortage of enhancing jewels. Not even enough to enhance your gear. You cant buy them anywhere. The final boss is glitched and cant be beaten. He flies all over and resets his HP. Then he will just fly up and disappear. You cant even finish the battle. So disappointed. There are many times the game crashed for no reason.
The reasons this game is a ton of fun to play is all over the other reviews – so buy and have fun if you havent purchased yet. Our issue is with Backbone controller support – for which this game is lauded for supporting. And it would be amazing – but it doesnt seem to be true. We get no hint of the Backbone being recognized, and it doesnt look like you have to progress to a certain area/level for support to begin. So, this should likely be sorted out, because it is more than a little annoying for those that dont do touch screen controls well.
This game looks fun, but we bought it because it says it supports controllers but it doesnt. We want to play with controller like advertised.
Even with the extremely clunky navigation, bad view field, the poorly ported interface, and horrible inventory views, Id probably have pushed on except for bugs. Im playing on a compatible iPad, and the game crashes all the time, usually when interacting with inventory, always when trying to read something, and often when fighting very poorly coded monsters, such as large dinosaurs. Even with constant saving, its just untenable. And then we hit a glitch in the Citadel of Ror-Dan where the crystal key falls and isnt visible or retrievable. Ive tried every possible way (leaving and re-entering to reset), and the key just goes away when it falls. This just isnt worth it for a game that would have seemed good 10 years ago but now feels stale and buggy.
Looks like it could be a decent game, but it keeps crashing when we try to enhance our bow. Ive asked Apple for refund. Plays more like a beta test and not a finished game.
The first time we ever played this game was while we were waiting for our mom to finish shopping on one of the new iPads at a Verizon store.we remember rushing home that night and eventually we finally downloaded it. It was our favorite mobile game we ended up beating it and we played it for days and days on end fast forward over eight years and have had built our own PC and played all sorts of games, this one still just hits different.
Love this game just wish theyd add controller support.
Good game could be great with controller support. Please add.
While the overall gameplay is pretty good, we would examine the scroll and book glitch, it seems to crash the game each time you read a book in Ravensword: Shadowlands. Also if its possible, try to include all weapons that the player can find or purchase.
We have been playing this game for quite a while now maybe since 2016-17 and we do have to admit it is pretty fun. It has a decent sized map and many Easter eggs. It can be a little bit buggy at times. It is not easy at all even with great weapons we still have trouble beating some enemies. We love this game and suggest it to all.
We cant read any scrolls or books needed to complete some quests of to find some secrets and sometimes our game crashes but thats pretty much it.
This game is a lot of fun but we cant seem to play more than 5-10 minutes without it crashing. Also when we open the wizards letter it crashes so we cant progress through the game. Please fix we would love to play it more.
We just started this game Im having a bit of trouble with progress. The app keeps closing on some of the quests we start.
We cant progress through the main storyline because it crashes when we talking to the Archmage for the first time in his tower, also it just crashed when we tried to read a book that we needed to read to complete a quest. Its been pretty great otherwise please fix though.
Its a great game in many ways. However, there are parts of the game where you need to read scrolls or books and the game will crash if you try to do that. This renders the game unplayable if you want to complete it. Tons of people asking about this issue online and no resolution to the problem.
We have only been playing this game for a week and we already think the graphics are bad. Plz make better we will rate 5 stars if you make it better.
They lied, this game does NOT have controller support. We wasted money on another shady game developer! Trash! We tried 2 different kinds of controllers-our PS5 and our Speedy Game controller.nothing.
No controller support even though it is in the list of games that have controller support.
Game crashes on our iPad any time we try to read something. We tried the reboot and it still crashes. We cant continue after playing for an hour. Waste of money.
Was enjoyable open world rpg, till last update. Now every time we read a scroll or book the game crashes.
Be careful buying items as it is currently broken.
This is honestly one of the best games Ive played on mobile in a long time! We played it in March and it was so much fun. It has a really short storyline, but we spread it out over the course of three weeks so that was great. We would highlyyyy recommend installing this game.
We have completed this so many times it nice chill but also exciting.
Hello developers, we bought 5000 in gold for $5 and never got the gold, please fix this developers.
Four stars because the graphics are a little off and a weird glitch when we load the game we fall off the map and die. Also the monsters are dope but need to be improved. The voice acting are a little bad but can be better if you keep up the great this will be the best Skyrim looking game on iOS and Android.
As the title says. We purchased something in game and did not receive it. It is not in our inventory. Id like the item in question or our money back. Ive already filled out message in the support cite. The game itself is fun and enjoyable. We just dont like being cheated out of our purchase.
We spent 4.99 on coins and got no coins its horrible anyway that quest dont even tell you were to go worst game ever.
The game itself is fine. Its just we have made purchases from the store within the game and of course it charged us but no items. We purchase gold, exp, and talent points. There is no way in game to support a support ticket to address the issue.
Used to be one of our favorites, but now with a fatal bug that cant be corrected with a reinstall: Boxes are missing from citadel which prevents completing the main quest (in addition to the missing boxes, the second temple key statue now appears in the middle of the room with the green liquid- how very strange, as the game appears to be conflating the two different rooms. Help.
Thank you for the continued updates of your games and not abandoning them like Gameloft did too many of their titles.
No book in the game can be read, and this will cause the incompletion of some side missions.
Yeah at first when your weak and they send you on fetch quests and stuff it may be boring but when you get halfway through the game it is amazing best mobile rpg Ive played.
This game is awsome and long, not the best graphics but there ok still.
An update to fill screen would be awesome. After all these years this is still our go to game.
Please there is a problem in sky of game its black screen only.
We used to play this game when we were like 10 and now we finally found it on mobile for only 7$, to be honest we would have paid 20$ for this game………BEST GAME IN THE WORLD.
People are mad that the graphics are bad which they are but come on its a game 6 year ago yes 6 YEAR AGO.
Wonderful game we just have 2 wishes. 1 they would update it 2 they would make more games like this.
It seems as if some reviewers dont understand graphics hardware. Most phones are not great at handling 3d graphics, and for proper lighting you would need a ray tracing rtx graphics card.
This is the second time Ive played through this game as well as purchased it. As far as Im concerned its the best out there on the mobile platform before when it was out and still now. Id love to see more games like it!! Graphics are also awesome on our IPad Pro 12.9 2018 device. Please add controller/ game pad support. One thing particular we dont care for is when in first person camera view the shield or our characters head covers the left bottom corner of the screen interfering with our nice view, please fix this. Id prefer nothing showing on the person. We were thrilled to see this game back on and updated. Keep up the awesome work.
Greatest story based mobile game ever! Please add more content.
Took about 12 hours for MQ & all but one side quest at default difficulty. Didn't do any exploring. (There isn't that much given limits of mobile games) Baddies are not leveled which is cool. Explore at beginning and tangle with wrong critter. You're dead with one hit. Game has an area near start that's for leveling up & food. (Food is required, but automatically consumed.) Unlike some games, treasure & items are logical. Nastier the critters, the better the loot. Also reminded us of old Tomb Raider series with a couple of puzzles, and some jumping. Graphics are nice considering it's on a mobile device. (Played on iPad Pro– 2015 version.) File size is 923.1 MB. Game hung once when knocked back into some rocks & stuck in between collision planes. CTD happened 3 times. Twice when selling stuff and once when loading new area. Might have forgotten to save. All in all, well worth the 7 bucks. Best of all, no "pay to win" nonsense.
We love this game we played it for the android and we had read online that it supported MFI controller so we purchased a $50 controller and downloaded the game to find out that it doesnt work. Are use our phone as our gaming console and would love to have the support of the controller as it is right now we cant control the characters with the touchscreen due to glitching. We really love this game and we hope that they do an update soon or somebody can help us figure out how to connect in control with our Steel series. Please help we want to play.
Thanks for the great updates and fixes, makes this game even better.
