It's a fun game and we like to play it but…. HOW IN THE HELL DO we PLAY IT. We really honestly don't get it and there's no online or in-game tutorials. We think there should be an update with a tutorial mode telling you how to play each sport. For example: weight lifting??? What do we do???? We always try putting the weight on the person but just end up knocking him over. Kayaking?? We always fall off the back when barely even going!! And we can't figure out a way to keep him balanced on there. So once again fun and we give a thumbs up but….. We do wish for a future update in which the game gives a tutorial on how to properly do all of the sports.
When your favorite Olympic event airs at 3am, or your favorite streaming service falls flat on its face, there's no better game to turn to than this one right here. It's also great for those who live and breath Olympics, but find themselves suffocating because they only happen every few years.
We can't stop forgetting that we're not actually watching the Olympics when we play this. We mean, you can hardly even call it a game. The realism is just too intense. If you have a hard time disconnecting from games, this will be an extra challenge as you won't realize you have even begun or stopped since it basically feels like reality the whole time.
We would lose our lunch if this was updated for widescreen.
This is exactly the same as competing in the Olympics.

This game is so much fun to play, especially with friends. The hilarious banter about the game is an added bonus.
This game was funny its fun and east to find out what to do the way you can play with the people gets and the rest is more stars then 5.
We are a great at athletics– this game is a perfect simulation. We can lift weight, run, and throw things; with this sports simulation we can prepare for competition.
We were very taken by just how realistic this game is. We really felt like we were personally competing in the summer games. In fact, we were a silver medalist javelin thrower at one point, and when our avatar in this game flew dozens of feet into the air to hurl the javelin a quarter kilometer away, we were gripped with a sudden, warm and bittersweet nostalgia for our former glory days. This game truly lets us experience the thrill and joy of olympic competition that we've been missing for so long.
Really totally silly game that's worth the money. It's fun to play with friends.
This Justin Smith has a gift! We have no idea how most of these mini games work, but we can't stop playing! The art direction and music takes retro to a whole new level. The opening and closing ceremonies are hilarious! Justin, we want more! Your other games are incredible as well! (Oregon is off the charts!) Keep the hits coming.
Very fun, especially against your friends! Although it would be nice to include an instructional tutorial for each event, but we think the fun of it lies within finding out how to conquer each event! An excellent game, there should be more events included like soccer, skeet-shooting, maybe like martial arts or wrestling.
Except in the real Olympics you get to play as Puerto Rico if you so choose. But in this game you cant :(. Otherwise this would be the most realistic sports simulation ever.
Amazing game. We're having a super realistic time playing with our friends! However there seems to be a glitch where swiping the bottom of the screen will cause the screen to flip on our 4s!!! Super annoying for most events! We don't know if it's supposed to do that to make it impossible…. But the game is hard enough as is without an inverting screen. Hope this gets fixed. Love the game.
If you ever busted a joystick on the Epyx classic, you'll love this. Probably can't destroy your iPad screen, and the physics makes it more than timing, but planning and training the right motions. Impossibly hard, but we'll keep coming back. One star off for lack of instructions or any hint how to even qualify for some events.
Thanks for the awesome update! This game is great! Can you please please PLEASE add gamecenter support? Achievement and leaderboards would be amazing! If not, at LEAST please make a high score table for each event that we can view! Those features would definitely merrit 5 stars in our book.

This game is freaking fantastic! Don't let the graphics turn you off, the game play is solid gold hilarity. The only thing we would change is to add the ability to play our own music while playing the game.
Imagine that your are paralyzed from the neck down and you have to learn how to control a computer mouse with your mouth. That is the initial experience with this game, but instead of a computer, you are on an Atari 2600. This is not a negative. It is part of what makes the game fun and challenging. Figuring out what you are supposed to do in each event IS the game. The extra events are worth the money if you can handle the awesomeness. We would like to add that we are a longtime iOS user and this is the fist time we have been compelled to write a review. This game is that awesome.

If you liked enviro-bear and so long Oregon you will love this one. Worth the 3 bucks. Probably the more fun is learning what to actually do on each competition.
The wind blowing through your hair as you vault yourself to victory. The adoring crowd chanting your hometown of Swedistan. The rush of adrenaline as you steer your horse with unimaginable velocity. It is all evident in this emotionally wrenching, heart-pounding combination of intense, immersive gameplay and Justin Smith's graphical powerhouse of a game engine. Why watch the Olympics in a few months when you can experience the glory now? But seriously, we personally think this game is very good. You need to enjoy Enviro-Bear to enjoy this game, because most of the fun is the outright stupidness, the clumsiness of the controls, and the sense of craziness that it presents.
We love everything about the game. Everyone listen least realisitc summer sports game ever thats only one funny part. Plus the fact that all natiuons have different flags and names, like Russia is now MoroLand (like motherland) this game is ridiculasly fun, But we wish there was a thing that told you what to do in some events, like swimming???? Still go ahead and buy this! And if u havent for some reason buy his other games and then download his other free pc game! DUH.
We haven't seen graphix this hot since we played "Excitebike" on IMAX. It's like you're there at the Summer Games, from the stirring opening ceremony (and yo: that's not a pre-rendered cut-scene; those are in-engine, homie!) to the sweat of your horse to the thrill of representing Armena (happens to be where our ancestors used to work out). If movies had graphics this good, we'd watch them.
This game is amazing! The IAP is soo worth it too! The goofy-ness of this game mixed with the crazy controls will give you hours of fun. We literally can play the javelin for hours at a time even though we have the best score ever! We can't wait to see what new summer games come in the updates.
