Ive played this incredible strategy game off and on for several years now. It never gets old. Truly this one of those secret gems of the App Store. So deep, artful, and satisfying. Our only request is an update for the resolution of larger-screened iPhones. Thank you.
Back in the day this was the best strategy game on the market…. Still is. The art is so jaw dropping you will want to frame your phone. This and Final Fantasy Tactics are all the strategy games you need but grab Blue Attack and Blue Defense as well, you wont regret it. (shame on us for not writing this earlier).
Can you fix local multiplayer? We're also curious what happened to the green campaign. We were never able to play it and it just disappeared. Hopefully you can add it back in. We might even pay for it if you do. Thanks for the support.

This is the best RTS on the appstore (subject to opinion of course.) we would gladly pay for the next episode of the game.
This is a classic game, one of the first ones out when iOS was just an infant. The fact that this was updated to be compatible with iOS 9 is amazing. We'd give 6 stars if it utilized all the screen real estate on the iPhone 6+.

This was one of our favorite RTS titles on the AppStore back when we got our first iPod Touch, and got us into Cat In A Box Games… Games… It's great seeing it get updated (even if we can't play it because we're on iOS 7.1.2) – hopefully this leads to nothing but good things for the developer. We'd love to see more titles in the future, and knowing that we'll be able to play these whenever we finally update our phone isn't horrible either. =oP THANK YOU CAT IN A BOX.

This team has convinced us that we CAN enjoy an rts. The learning curve is worth the effort, and you can become a competent commander within an hour's time. Across all facetsthe graphics, control, design, and musicthe whole package is just phenominal.

Coming back to the game, we realize how good this game really is. We have become somewhat experienced in the genre as a Starcraft and LoL player, along with experience in other games of the type, and we realize how amazing this game is. The tactics, the pacing, the build orders, everything about it is absolutely great. The interface is great for anyone, and the graphics are very cool. Well worth the money.

Quite literally the best mobile strategy game out there, pretty much the only way we can get our RTS fix when we're away from our computer. Glad to see y'all are back.
Yeah we agree with lotto it's basically red is Zerg blue Terran and green Protoss the only flaw with this game is the green race they are way too strong but they have a releatively small supply count but still… There mother ship can pretty much with a carrier and 2 battle ships kill a player.
Glad to see an update in so long! This is one of those apps that will never leave our phone. A rare RTS gem indeed. Everything about it feels 'right' once you get the hang of the controls. Hopefully we get to see widescreen support in the near future.

Good game, extremely fun. One glitch needs to be fixed. Whenever we click to start the green campaign it crashes the game. When its fixed it will get 5 stars.

We really loved the story line and we'am dying to play episode 3 though we do have a suggestion to let you continually capture planets instead of them blowing up.
Hands down, this is the best game on the IOS. Though it hasn't updated in 2 years. If the developer reads this, we encourage you to keep updating.

This is our favorite game on the Ipod. Hopefully the designer will see how many people are still playing and update this epic game.
When is the freaking new update coming out we've been waiting for 2 years.
We got this game a while ago, when it crashed so much it was impossible to get past a certain level, however on the ipad2, it doesn't crash a lot The game is fun and we just feel that there should be more in the multiplayer. Everytime we go on, there is nobody on This game should be higher ranked as it is 100% better than some games in the top 100.

Probably the best rts on the iOS devices. Easy to pick up and play. Fun playing multiplayer.
It reminds us of a mini version Starcraft!!!!! Its a lot of fun, but we can see it being a bit difficult to pick up for "simple-game player". If PvZ is a strategy game, then this one is x10 harder! If you are someone who never had exp with RTS games, this might be confusing.
It really is a great game but it just needs a little publicity to get going and it'll be right up there with angry birds.
This game is awesome buy it and you will be glad you did but we wish that episode three will come sooner.

Excellent game, but there hasn't been a peep from the designer since January, so it looks like Episode 3 and 4 aren't going to appear. Even with an incomplete campaign, it's still one of the best games around.

The game is amazing but the CPU can't take controlling more than one army and calculating 300 fighters worth of damage. For the peeps who want this fixed, just keep the iPod cool and it'll be fine. Cool tips Red: builds fastest Regens Has med gunpower Uses alot of resources Only some units build Good for nomadic Blue: builds slow Has low pop count ish Uses minimal resources Most units build Make carriers and spam scouts (the ones capable of battle) for effective victory Green: builds slowish Has high pop count but each ship is very strong All units build Uses heavy resources Good for long fights Easy to get rushed If you have harvesters, save them bc you can repopulate with them and maybe fight back.
This was our favorite app please make the next episode.

This is a really great game. It's a bit hard to figure out at first, but once you underatand how to play, it's simple controls make it easily playable. The one complaint we have is that nobody never plays multiplayer anymore. Other than that great app.
Good game we wish more people played it online though.
Starting off with the only con: the short campaign that was extremely short, quite vague, and didn't entirely explain what was happening to the main character. But the game doesn't end AT ALL with just the campaign. The game is stock full of mini games in which you gain score and rank, and for us the highlight of the game was it's exciting and sometimes chaotic skirmishes in which you can choose either side of your choosing. This game is exceptionaly deep with so few unit variety. All races have their own major advantages and disadvantages giving each side a play style of their own. The gameplay is simply briliant giving you many tactics and techniques through skillful micromanagment with a variety of only 5-7 different, yet completely unique, units. The interface may take some getting used to for most people, but once you do you will realize how well built it is for the iPhone/iPod touch. And the game holds it's last state so that you can turn it on, play a bit, close it to do something important (act like you're still working), than get right back into the game making it something you can play anywhere, easily. We enjoy the highlighted style graphics as much as we did in the earlier installments of this one in a kind franchise, and we hope to see another spinoff of red vs blue in the future from you Cat in a Box Games.
