We love seeing great games from the early days of the App Store come back to life!
We’ve had an iPhone since the 3GS in like 2008ish and this was probably one of the first game we ever had for it. Unlike so many other games that have been abandoned over the years or have resorted to intrusive ads or data collection, this game has continually been updated and it retains its simple charm. Im in a completely different era of our life now and we still enjoy slicing these boxes for coins and points!
So glad to see this old title get a much needed layer of polish after all these years.
This game is simple but fun, and it has great music and a good sense of humor.
Honestly can’t remember how we found this game but we loved it on our iPod touch for several years. We spent a while trying to remember the name of the game so we could find it and re-download it, and we’re very sad to say that the developers seemed to end support a while back. I’d kill for a more polished sequel, or regains developer support, because it was truly one of those "App Store gems"

Had this game years ago. Just redownloaded it. Still just as fun. Please make it updated for the iPhone 6’s larger screen.
Please fix the bugs that cause the game to crash. We know this app is old but it was such a great game that we used to play for hours as a kid!

This game is pretty cool. It just needs to be fixed so that it doesnt crash after a game has concluded.
Looks like a great game but we’re not able to play it. None of the modes load to the game, it stays at a constant loading screen. Please fix.

Very fun/competitive game! Try to beat our highscore on learn to play!(Currently #1) App needs update though, the highscores in the app are broken! The only highscores are the game center one! Overall a great game! We wish it was free for a certain period of time.

We don’t know why this is not popular. We loved it while we had our iPod Touch. We are planning on getting another iPod Touch because of better music sync and this game. We seriously miss this game!

We don’t think anyone who reviewed this saying "OMG YOU ONLY FIGHT SQUARES BORING" has ever realized that this game is quite literally a revealing parody of modern RPGs, because if you factor out fancy graphics and story plot, you basically get this game. All RPGs involve a hero going out into the world fighting stronger and strogner enemies, each with varying abilities, all while building their own abilities over time, until he reaches his goal. Good luck proving us wrong, because you know we’re right. This game is fun, simple, and enjoyable. Games don’t need amazing graphics to be fun. Included storylines are only good when done correctly, and this kind of game doesn’t need one. This is a great pick up and play RPG and we highly recommend it.
You have probably been looking at the screen shots and have been thinking "What the heck is this?! A weird looking person whacking blocks?" Well it is a weird looking customizable person whacking blocks while having the string of text saying "You have hit,walloped, thwacked, the (color) block for 134 damage!" This comedic approach combined with the simplicity of being a random person hitting blocks with no story whatsoever gives the player wonderful gameplay. Your player is customizable so you won’t have to be the same old bland player every time. All in all this game is a great game that everyone should have.
If it does hava a sequel more weapons and more angry shapes.
We would love to see gamecenter support, or even retina graphics!
Fastar! Is a simple, enjoyable app with tons of modes and squares to battle through. Its simplicity is great and really gives it nice, flowing gameplay. We definitely recommend this game. An update would be very much appreciated, particularly with new weapons and possibly more shapes to annihilate.
Very fun and addicting game. But please allow to play our music while playing the game. And maybe some more customization for character (and sword!)

This Game is awsome but sometimes it Takes up to Three minutes to destroy a Square but it is a Great Game because you can choose from diffrent spells and Things it also Passes time but how is it possable to get 00:00????!!!!!!!!!???!!!
We love this game and got it for free back when it first came out. Only thing I’d change is to add in an "endless" game mode, like Arena, but walking through the wilderness like all the other game modes. BTW, has anyone seen the unicycle guy, or are they kidding?
This is a trick that works for us in Battlemage to help defeat squares easily. Select the spells beef and swyp- or whatever the swap spell is. Use beef as many times as you can to increase your defense to as high as possible then use the swap spell to swap you high def. And your pow. You’ll have a few precious secs. To mostly 1 hit KO squares!!!!
How come it froze and says round ##### at the top? It isnt frozen but it wont respond .-. Great game though.
A great time-trial RPG experience. We think it’s a great game because of it’s simplicity, though others bring it down for the same reason. We would love an update or something with a new mode, however.
There are a bunch of tards that don’t get it. It’s the simplicity that makes this game great. If you want your stupid armor and bonus points go play some world of Warcraft. This game is awesome even if the super geeks have issues with not being able to play as a half naked chick who shoots fire.
