Great game and story we love it but you kinda get soft locked as its really hard to progress after a while with out spending one or two bux.
Love this game. Quite the long campaign which is great. Was wondering is there any plan for sequel game or add ons to app for more experiences?
In our opinion it is simply the best mobile game ever made!!
Ill just start with this, the idea of this game and the current gameplay is amazing our only gripe with this is the base, it makes it completely pay to win to get part missions. As we said, fun game base system not so much.
We have played this game all the way back before we had our phone on our nook and we always come back. We hope that y’all eventually decide to make an addition to this series as I’d play the heck out of it too. Thanks for this great game that’s taken care of lots of bored times!!!
This game is 100% worth it, yes the full game is stuck behind a pay wall but its worth it. We bought REDCON 1 because we like the demo. The twist ending, was not expecting that. They should make another game like this but your on the kruxs side.
One of the best, personally our favorite, AppStore game. To unlock the whole story you must pay to continue, but those couple bucks are so worth it. We havent played a game this much before, we’ve played since 2016 and we still come back to this game to play it again. Fun, strategic, challenging, intriguing story, and just long enough. Yes, you will have to restart the campaign to replay the same levels, but in our opinion it has always been a lot of fun to do so. We end up forgetting most of the levels and those that we already know how to beat still are very challenging. There isnt really an easy way to beat the levels, its all up to your skills. Also, heres one cheeky thing. If you unlock three of the Onslaught perks its extremely OP with mass Basilik and some large guns like Typhons. Very rare to get all of them, but so much fun if you do. Have fun :)
Update: this game is awesome. If you are complaining about paying 5 dollars you need to rethink what value is. We paid the one time fee and unlocked a challenging and really fun game. The satisfaction of hearing a shell squish an enemy minion is well worth it! Its a free demo basically. Play it and if you want to go on, you pay. Its done well, and for the people griping about cost. Its a cup of coffee… 5 bucks? Wish more paid apps did it this way. Try then buy.
Owned this game for a few years and it never gets boring. Good story, unique gameplay. Definitely worth a few bucks. The plot twists and ending were all so good. Please add multiplayer or a sequel. Side Note: Why is the music in this game so good?
We absolutely loved how the game makes you think and how much you need to pay attention, and yea while it is behind a paywall, its absolutely worth the 4-6 dollars. We would love to see a 2nd game in the future.

Ayo we finished this game and its absolutely amazing and we really hope you can make a REDCON 2 because the storyline and the mechanics of this game and just the game in general is all we ever dreamed of in a game!
We havent played a well designed mobile game in years.. And Yet Now that we’ve found it we couldnt set it down. We bought REDCON 1 To enjoy the full experience and we had a blast with all the extra gear. Admittedly the game does feel mind boggling at some times. Some times RNG fights you. But overall You are equipped with artillery and utility to overcome every challenge with some combination or another. The story is nice, Even if short. And yet now that its over we feel empty. There is no multiplayer.. And Replaying the campaign again feels a tad desecrating. We wish they could add a multiplayer because the games design appears to be perfectly fitting of A RTS. All in all, This game Is exceptional provided you buy the expansions. We are glad to have enjoyed it, and Saddened it is over.
Its good if u have nothing to do kinda but honestly its fun to me.
The only hard part is the 3 nuke vaults. Other than that, our favorite video game ever!
Ya this game is a grate alternative to forts (a steam game) but is hard with out VIP or impossible near the end but over a good game.
This game gets a lot of bad reputation from reviews about difficulty spikes and what not. We are here to tell you this, this game is fun but it is hard. That May detour some people to the thought of it but Hexage for a most part makes very well made mobile games, some of which of playable on PC because they are made so well. Red Con is one of these said games. We know there may be some confusion about purchasing premium, you will unlock artillery and such as you go and that goes for the premium things as well. If you like strategy games, or just want something to play that is both fun engaging and has a very well written story especially for a mobile game then buy the full game. You will not regret it, and for those saying it has a difficulty spike, try using a different strategy, this game is a enabler for creativity. Learn, adapt and you will overcome. We have already beaten this game twice and we plan to play more, keep up the work Hexage!
Can you please add survival mode where you can get new fortress by surviving and also read this please we would love it this was added please.
We just started this game today and we are loving it this game brought us something to do while we were bored. 10/10 would recommend.
But pls add multiplayer it will be really cool like 2v2 so you have to search a player like your friend 2v2 another person.
We just wish the game was fully free dude, like the game is soooo fun but we dont have any money to full the full game even tho its 4 dollars, its not because Im broke its because our parents wont spend money on a game :(
We have been playing this game for a long time (3+ years), and always hoping for the company to add more story and content or release a second one, but it has not. You get a free trail (like 20 stages or so), then you are asked to buy 1 of the 2 packages. Im telling you, the game is simply amazing, but involves a lot of grind. Gets very difficult, even with everything unlocked. But some people give it bad reviews because they say its too difficult. Well believe us or not, but we have managed to beat the game 5 times already, and we still enjoy it. Like we said, lots of grind but please, dont give the game a bad review, just because you cant beat the game.
We’ve played through the story about five times now, let us tell you its well worth the upgrade price. The gameplay is challenging, with the perfect mix of strategy and fast-paced action. But what really makes this game shine is the story. It is utterly fantastic, nothing like anything you will find on another mobile game. Not gonna spoil anything, but it is truly inspired, and makes us keep playing it long after our first playthrough. Our jaw was on the floor towards the end of our first run, and the uniqueness of this game has yet to lose its effect even years later.
We bought premium and accidentally deleted the game and when we reinstalled it we lost all our progress and premium and we want the premium back. Please fix that.
Its actually a pretty fun time killer / strategy game and the graphics are pretty good.
REDCON strike cammander is the best strategy game in the history of strategy games all it need is multiplayer a mode where you can play as the Krux and level select and we think this could be the top strategy game in the world.

Ok this gam is hard, it is locked behind a pay wall But it is worth it. This game is hard but once you learn the mechanics, you feel like a genius. In addition this game has an actual good story. You actually care about the characters. This is an amazing game period, especially for a mobile game. Its hard, it costs money, you may have to look up tutorials, but it is a truly amazing game! The second we beat we started a new play through. And we never do that. Please play it!
Dude tbh we saw the reviews of this game and thought it was gonna be one of those games that arent good since it has only 500 sum reviews but bro this game is actually fun.
We loved the beginning and premise of the game so much that we bought the REDCON 1 upgrade and we just finished the campaign. We thought it awesome! People talk about difficulty spikes and those are there but all you need to do is find the weaknesses in the enemies defense and arm your fortress accordingly. Of course we were doing this on easy mode and we had all the weapons available for unlock so it was much easier compared to only having the base weapons to use. We think if you enjoy the beginning and have a few bucks to spend the upgrades are well worth it, it only gets better and the ending is great. But also it will be difficult without all the weapons available if you dont buy REDCON 1, although the challenge can make it much more satisfying, and we think its best on easy for your first time through. Great game, in our opinion.
This has to be one of the best mobile games we’ve ever played. It not only has strategies that keep you guessing, but a great story line as well. Sure you have to spend a little money on it, but it was so worth it. We really hope the creator makes another REDCON because that would be just amazing.
Some levels were very hard to beat till we finally got a system that worked out to beat the level and we truly like the ending to it and the story. One of the best mobile games we have ever played and will continue to be for a long time.
The games pretty challenging and makes you strategize- we did spend the money to get the REDCON pack with everything in it. We do however have a recommendation for the 31% war completion level at least give us one defensive tower. We think the laser one would be fitting for the level. Also maybe dont have the place look like its been getting fired at for the last 5 hours. Other than that stuff its a great game. 4/5 stars.
This game is really fun at the beginning of it, but when you move on it starts to get into a pay-to-win sort of situation. When you get the first base in the game, Fort Raptor, you start to run into some issues. On normal mode, you wont have any problems, but on easy mode they give you more towers than you can place down. This seems good, because you are getting a lot of weapons, but you only have 4 slots FOR weapons, and the only way to upgrade your fort is to buy a new upgrade with REAL money. This makes the game challenging even on easy mode because your opponents have way more utilities, defenses and weapons than you have put down, making them have an advantage.
Id love a sandbox where you get the fort of your choosing vs. An enemy fort of your choosing and you design both. Outside of that maybe ease up on the endless onslaught in the campaign.
Bought premium still havent received the bonuses.
We got hooked on the story then got a slap in the face when we hit the pay wall great game though.
We love this game. Its fantastic and its an absolute blast to play. But theres a paywall and thats really cringe. We’ve seen other reviews talk about this, but add some other way to pay for the full game please. We love this game and Id love to keep playing, but theres the paywall. Thanks.
We love the story and the combat but if you have like what 3.65(something like that) to upgrade it for full story its amazing except for some levels but all in all if you do finish it congrats. Also for the developers when we getting a second one need to now if we can destroy those traitors.
Game was fun. Challenging but good progress possible until you reach the end of free version. Plays like a free game so we are not going to pay for more levels. Worth checking out with idea that it is short lasting.
We must say the free portion of this game was amazing. At times it was challenging but definitely not impossible if you dont pay. The strategy part is simple yet complicated. Do you want to be able to heal your troops or be able to shoot down projectiles or be able to invade their base with an airship. From what if seen the story isnt much but that doesnt matter. But now about the paywall. You need to spend at minimum 3$ to get the full game and while we understand people need to eat it would be nice if there was another way to get the full game like whatch x amount of adds or pay x amount of in game currency or mabey have some specific mission. Of course you could still sell the other designs and weapons for money. But its up to the devs weather you have to pay for this masterpiece.
The game is great love the aesthetic good gameplay but the farther you go it becomes pay to win you need to pay to play the rest of the game after a number of the levels.
We played reaper and loved it this is great. But it seems like the enemies can predict exactly what projectile is coming after them. If its a regular missile they will just keep repairing but if its the shredder they run. Which forces the use of flash bangs, but those take almost double or triple the regular time. Which we understand why it takes a while but the only way you can win is but taking out all or most of their troops. So it just creates a loop of repair and damage but its fun and challenging just have to work around that fact.
We loved this game as a kid and Im glad we found it again, our only complaint is that the full game is not free.
Super fun game if you pay $6 to get the bigger bace layout and more guns.
Guides you terrible, some missions are so hard or overpowered you cant beat dont play this game.
