Everything about this game screams made with care and effort, like seriously its really satisfying to play, and yah its hard but it really gets us invested and tryna beat the level, also the OST, WOW sounds like AAA game titles sound track. So yah we kinda like it, def recommend.
Some levels may require multiple attempts, but over time, through the rage, you learn how to play better and the story is pretty funny with interesting things. We are actually at level 93 and stuck, but so close to the end and Ive been grinding. Overall enjoyable but sometimes tough. Edit: we bought REDCON 3 and its still good enough to be fun.
MOREEEEE, we NEED MORE. We LOVE IT. The strategy, the art, the sounds, all of it is amazing. We have officially completed the game and we think it was awesome. Please make more of it or new weapons for us to collect.
But problem is all ways enemies have more power.
You gotta add more free edition content please a begging on our knees.
The game is great, but unfortunately in the last update, we lost access to premium.
Excellent game but just redownloaded and restore purchases dont work. Not very good.
Ive started playing this game since it came out and although it is very fun it is not here to hold your hand, some levels are very hard and have taken multiple tries to beat but the feeling after defeating it is amazing. It is hard and it will test you but it is probably the best game Ive played with how rewarding each victory feels.
To the developer(s) that continue to update such an old but blessed game, thanks, we wanted a reason to come back to it.
Its a great game but we do wish we could earn perks from replayed missions as well. Having played the game before we know there are some real juicy ones that could be entirely missed because only unbeaten missions are the only way to actually earn perks.
We used to hate how you could not replay levels without restarting the entire campaign, but the new update made us start on the grind for onslaught once more. Into the Breach.
We love this game, the campaign is beautiful, the way you play.. The ai.. Its so beautiful. We believe there could be so much more, hoping they update this game.
We found this game about 7 years ago when we were quite young. We finally found it again after all these years and it's still great! We thought the game wasn't being supported since it was last updated 3 years ago, but out of some crazy timing the developers decided to come back after 3 years and completely update the graphic quality and refresh rate! We're not far enough to use the world map to replay past missions all too much, but sounds like a good addition! We hope this game has continued support into the future.
We absolutely love this game and have not seen anything like it since. Ive kept this game downloaded for the better part of two years and loved coming back to beat the campaign again and again. Until recently we thought the devs had forgotten about this game and we were watching something so unique fade into a forgotten project. Im so pleased to see that it received a new update. We were taken in complete shock when we opened the game and was faced with a war map. Thank you devs for not letting this game go into obscurity, we believe yall have a wonderful and exciting game here.
Ok, we been playing the game recently and when we got to juniper (or Jupiter) we get destroyed because we cant do anything. We asked the community for help and they redirected us to a walkthrough. We still lost. Please either make a new walkthrough, remake this one level, take down the level, nerf the amount of enemys there, or nerf the amount of nukes they have.
We think its worth the 5.99 price tag good story a lot of equipment overall 9/10.
Im not one who usually leaves reviews but people need to know this is a stunning strategy game. The only real downside is the P2P features (Its like 10 bucks at most but absolutely worth it) The story is interesting and is unexpected and we truly love this game. All we wish is that the game had a different ending possibility (Still great ending). However back to the main point: GET THIS GAME.
Firstly this game is 100% worth the 5$ it costs to unlock the full game. This is our favorite game by far. The only thing that is slightly annoying is the difficulty like its hard to beat it on ez mode. But that might just be a skill issue on our part. We dont know how this game isnt more popular. David peroutka Ive played most of your games, this is the best one and your games deserve more popularity.
We will play this as far as possible on a f2p ticket. If the troops get bogged down as we read, then Ill simply restart and beat our own score. We live, we die we live again! The visual style is cool and this game offers something many similar games do not: humor. Redcon merits more than a three + stars so we give it five for the bump. Our Fearless Leader may take notice and promote us.
We really like this universe, its so interesting and cool. We like the characters and enjoyed the plot immensely, the gameplay was fun and enjoyable if you have 6 bucks to spare and are looking for a quality game then we say go for it. There likely isnt a better retro grim dark ww1 game around. We just hope they expand upon the lore of this universe and come out with a second game at some point.
The game is a masterpiece good story the way of explaining comes to some self speculation but other than that master piece would love to see another as the an continuation or a prequel of the events that lead of to the first game.
We played this game several years ago, we thought that the developers would see the potential that this game has to play it online, one vs one would be very addictive with bunquers and paid skins. Please keep it in mind.
Its good, really good – dont get us wrong. But some missions are genuinely way too frustrating. Like the missile pods, or the scorcher level. Or that one level where you start with an entire destroyed base. The difficulty curve is way too high, and a fix is needed.
Not sure what everyone is talking about regarding this being too hard. But we played on normal and felt the difficulty was just right. A few setbacks here and there but overall nothing crazy. We did beat the whole free version on our first run through without much issue. Surprisingly it was more difficult in the extended game. Totally worth the price as Im sure the effort into making this game was quite intense. Very surprised there isnt a multiplayer. Probably could make a killing if the dev added a multiplayer with some micro purchases. Nothing crazy, just adding more options behind a paywall. Adding a competitive ranking system would probably add a lot of additional playability. They could even make it where only cosmetics are for purchase. A lot of really good potential regarding the multiplayer aspect. Game probably just needs some more publicity to do well, probably does better on other platforms like steam as its not likely popular with kids due to it requiring a minimal level of thought and strategy.
This game is tough we guarantee it will be difficult the learning curve can be brutal at times but once you get it down your good to go all those other reviews about it being impossible is literally just because they never took the time to learn how to play good. The parts they complain about are a breeze to us Ive beaten the game 9 times by now and it is great every time getting this game is worth it trust us.
This game is 100% worth it, yes the full game is stuck behind a pay wall but its worth it. We bought REDCON 1 because we like the demo. The twist ending, was not expecting that. They should make another game like this but your on the kruxs side.

We just started this game today and we are loving it this game brought us something to do while we were bored. 10/10 would recommend.
Some levels were very hard to beat till we finally got a system that worked out to beat the level and we truly like the ending to it and the story. One of the best mobile games we have ever played and will continue to be for a long time.
Ok this gam is hard, it is locked behind a pay wall But it is worth it. This game is hard but once you learn the mechanics, you feel like a genius. In addition this game has an actual good story. You actually care about the characters. This is an amazing game period, especially for a mobile game. Its hard, it costs money, you may have to look up tutorials, but it is a truly amazing game! The second we beat we started a new play through. And we never do that. Please play it.

We absolutely loved how the game makes you think and how much you need to pay attention, and yea while it is behind a paywall, its absolutely worth the 4-6 dollars. We would love to see a 2nd game in the future.
But pls add multiplayer it will be really cool like 2v2 so you have to search a player like your friend 2v2 another person.
Great game and story we love it but you kinda get soft locked as its really hard to progress after a while with out spending one or two bux.
We havent played a well designed mobile game in years.. And Yet Now that Ive found it we couldnt set it down. We bought REDCON 1 To enjoy the full experience and we had a blast with all the extra gear. Admittedly the game does feel mind boggling at some times. Some times RNG fights you. But overall You are equipped with artillery and utility to overcome every challenge with some combination or another. The story is nice, Even if short. And yet now that its over we feel empty. There is no multiplayer.. And Replaying the campaign again feels a tad desecrating. We wish they could add a multiplayer because the games design appears to be perfectly fitting of A RTS. All in all, This game Is exceptional provided you buy the expansions. We are glad to have enjoyed it, and Saddened it is over.
We loved the beginning and premise of the game so much that we bought the REDCON 1 upgrade and we just finished the campaign. We thought it awesome! People talk about difficulty spikes and those are there but all you need to do is find the weaknesses in the enemies defense and arm your fortress accordingly. Of course we were doing this on easy mode and we had all the weapons available for unlock so it was much easier compared to only having the base weapons to use. We think if you enjoy the beginning and have a few bucks to spend the upgrades are well worth it, it only gets better and the ending is great. But also it will be difficult without all the weapons available if you dont buy REDCON 1, although the challenge can make it much more satisfying, and we think its best on easy for your first time through. Great game, in our opinion.
REDCON strike cammander is the best strategy game in the history of strategy games all it need is multiplayer a mode where you can play as the Krux and level select and we think this could be the top strategy game in the world.
Its actually a pretty fun time killer / strategy game and the graphics are pretty good.
This game gets a lot of bad reputation from reviews about difficulty spikes and what not. We are here to tell you this, this game is fun but it is hard. That May detour some people to the thought of it but Hexage for a most part makes very well made mobile games, some of which of playable on PC because they are made so well. Red Con is one of these said games. We know there may be some confusion about purchasing premium, you will unlock artillery and such as you go and that goes for the premium things as well. If you like strategy games, or just want something to play that is both fun engaging and has a very well written story especially for a mobile game then buy the full game. You will not regret it, and for those saying it has a difficulty spike, try using a different strategy, this game is a enabler for creativity. Learn, adapt and you will overcome. We have already beaten this game twice and we plan to play more, keep up the work Hexage.
Owned this game for a few years and it never gets boring. Good story, unique gameplay. Definitely worth a few bucks. The plot twists and ending were all so good. Please add multiplayer or a sequel. Side Note: Why is the music in this game so good.
We have played this game all the way back before we had our phone on our nook and we always come back. We hope that y'all eventually decide to make an addition to this series as we'd play the heck out of it too. Thanks for this great game that's taken care of lots of bored times.
Ya this game is a grate alternative to forts (a steam game) but is hard with out VIP or impossible near the end but over a good game.
Multiplayer or more levels would be nice.
We bought premium and accidentally deleted the game and when we reinstalled it we lost all our progress and premium and we want the premium back. Please fix that.
This has to be one of the best mobile games Ive ever played. It not only has strategies that keep you guessing, but a great story line as well. Sure you have to spend a little money on it, but it was so worth it. We really hope the creator makes another REDCON because that would be just amazing.
