We should not have to defend our level, to have to leaves a bad taste. We returned at level 2 now 5.drastic reduction in inventory, but still enjoyable so long as we dont have to buy to play.
The reason its four stars is because ITS SO FUN but the age restrictions are wild. 18* FOR A DESIGN GAME?! We used to have it before but since age stuff changed we cant have it anymore.
Ive been a supporter for years. But Im tired of the same old designs.
Once you run out of money, the game just turns into not really fun and its not really that good of a game cause we felt like before we downloaded this. We thought It was gonna be so fun, relaxing, and that sort of stuff. But it wasnt.
How is it possible to spend 34,000 coins and only receive 6,000 or 10,000 for each design? We really like the game, but its frustrating to play when you spend more than you get.
We love this game!! When we got it, we wasnt so sure. But the reviews were awesome! We love that there is NO ads! Anyways, we gave this game 5 stars bc it deserves 5! One thing though we need more levels.

Ive been playing this game every day for the last 5 years and have really enjoyed it. But now the number of ads are making us play much less. They are so annoying. If the company MUST try to make more money, Id be willing to pay a reasonable fee for an ad-free version.

It is a very good game and lots of fun. BUT, it is pricey, and the prices go up regularly. If you have lots of extra money, youll love it.
We went away came back and its pure chaos! Its too much packed into this app and adds are forceful making it not enjoyable.
We love this game, but the cost of materials has increased to the point that its expensive to play. The payouts have gone down to where it costs more than you win. The scoring doesnt make any sense and we feel like winning is luck of the draw and computerized. We consistently end up in 7, 8 and 9th place for decent designs with other designs that place above that arent always that good. Im not saying we deserve a higher placement than other players but we do think the voting is unfair. Voting used to be three hours and is now 10 minutes not really enough time for people to vote. It gets more disappointing every day.
This new system is tainted! We love this game but its not fun right now! You guys say thank you to every review but not listening to the consumers. We use to spend a lot of money but now we dont because first yall took 6 of the duels and put it to 4, then you guys wont let us vote and get tokens than you have to wait 24 hours just to get some more. We bet a lot of people stop buying because you lose when your design looks the best especially if its dark colors or even darker people like ourselves. We love the app so we put two but we were going to put 1 but our loyalty to this game still has us hooked on the game. Can you guys atleast make things cheaper when you buy the items or put atleast 10! It sucks when you got to keep paying the same thing and cant design differently.
We have been playing 6 years and we love this game. It helps our mind. Love it! It always helps to ease our stress away.
This game is so much better than any other game we have played we can spend hours playing without realizing that we have played it for so long we love how it lets you view and vote for other players work and lets players vote on your work to!!! We this game so much.

We really do enjoy playing this game. We designing our own choices yet sometimes youre force to choose designing the way the majority will vote because you run out of coins and tokens fairly fast because of the high cost of the nicer items just so you can win more tokens to continue to play. The voters mostly vote for neutral minimalist designs but they arent as fun to design as textures and colors. Still, we feel that the powers that be do give you a lot of chances for freebies and they are appreciated as this is our favorite app on our iPad and we love it so thanks a lot! Also NO ADS which does explain some of the high cost of playing.

Such a fun game! One of our favorites! We just wish you could get more for free its kind of hard to really play a lot in a sitting without spending money.
We like this game, but the Lucky-Snaps and scarcity of the tokens is kind of a kill-joy. The game would be a lot more fun if the Lucky-snaps and other mini games werent so boring and costly and if tokens were easier to get a hold of.
We support this game completely but the people are very harsh, even if ours is the most on theme we dont win but this is a great game and whenever we have our phone charged we will happily play it.
Overall good. Nice graphics and room visuals. Buying of colors, fabrics and woods reasonable. Should be able to open fabrics with coins, cash or gold. Wish theyd change that. Challenges with pre chosen colors/ walls, etc. Are way to limiting, especially for those on lower levels. Should be at least 6 unlocked options no matter what. Seeing the same fabrics gets boring. Update 4/ 2023 The switch to all coin is fine, but some items are way to overpriced. Ive stopped participating in the duel challenges because the challenger makes it obvious who they are to voters by designing purposefully unattractive rooms and locking the materials they used to give themselves an unfair advantage. Also, you end up spending way more coins than the prize worth. The rooms with the lighting challenge Ive stopped too. Lights are way too many coins for one time use! They shouldnt cost much more than the decor plants. And most times it doesnt make a difference in the room shading unless you hit the exact right color light. Also, there are times when we only want to use one light option, but sometime 3-5 lights are in the room and you HAVE to use them all. Update 9/23 Lately the judging algorithm has been hit or miss. Ive seen really attractive designs in 7th or below spots and really unattractive designs in 1st-3rd. Other times its fine. Makes it more difficult to rank up. Most of the neutral and white tone items are higher value. When trying to experience rank up, you have to frequently use those color materials, forcing a large majority of designs to be white with splashes of color or just neutral rooms designs. Not to most exciting. We like the stories and ideas. Fashion and clothing challenges we wish there were more of. 8/2024 Im still playing the game but a lot less. We still seldom play duel matches. Past level IX, if your not creating mostly white room with a slashes of color, you wont win or move up more unless you pay for the premium membership. If you are a serious player of the game, paying for the premium may be for you. If you just want to play for fun, going back a few levels is not a big deal. If you dont make it through all of the season pass items, there really should be an option to buy any ones that youve missed. The average player wont make it to the end because theyve made it harder to level up. Update 12/2025 They made it easier to get through the season pass items and reach higher levels. But once you get past a certain level, the algorithm shifts and then mostly white rooms win again. A good amount of times, a really hideous room will win first place against the white rooms, but you can tell its because people SPITE vote.
Make sure to create ridiculous and ugly designs for the duels because thats what they prefer, whoever they are. You have to be a strong person for all the cruel rejection you will face with your designs. We make beautiful designs against some that are so bad that Im sure most would agree, but usually they win. Its extremely unfair and we just dont understand what is happening here. It really messes with you.
We used to love this game until we couldnt vote enough to buy enough items to make a spectacular room. It seems like everything is about money. It is too hard to get coins so its too difficult to get those special items and open new packs. We liked it better when if you bought or earned new items, you got to keep them before the designer status thing came out. And it seems senseless to make the rooms that earn hearts when you use up all your stock and get very little money rewards compared to the past.
Not enough opportunities to earn the extras.
Changed so many times, and not for the better. Run by a very greedy company. We play so much less than we used to.
This was our favorite game for five years. It hit us through COVID and illness and our dads death and countless days of depression. What we have seen though is a progression of greed that hit such a level this year that we actually hate it now. Im trying to wean ourselves away because its so gross how they have made it impossible to play without buying stuff in mass. Throttling creativity for conformity and recently wiping out every single creative way we could work around being broke while still participating. There is no reason to have the same colors and patterned material repeated so you can charge more! Theres far too many changes in the name of greed to list. But the worst is the volume created by the greed and same materials at different prices for different items and in pictures so that it can take hours to cobble a room together just to get 10th place and a fraction in return. The additional games are redundant and actually take more of our coins too. Its so depressing to have experienced the fall of this once fun creative game.
Two things have ruined much of this game: having access to all owned items, often limiting you to the same boring client picks over & over again. That takes away from personal creativity & fun. Second, and its huge: having to use resources to unlock the same exact items youve unlocked many times before. That is grossly unfair & feels like weve been robbed. It should be one and done (once unlocked, always unlocked). We guarantee Id spend more if that one thing was fixed.
This game used to be great but now they suck you dry for coins so you have to spend real money to play as much as you like. Dont get addicted and save your money.
Its a fun game at the beginning but after a little everything is so expensive and they dont give enough coins to even really do much you can hardly play it everyday without having to wait on the free small amount of coins which arent enough to buy anything so you cant design stuff and then if you do manage to get enough after buying a few things your out again and cant finish the design its annoying and we dont get why you give little to no coins we mean we know yall wanna make money from people buying the coins but its ridiculous some people cant do that and just want to play what should be a relaxing game.

Ive been playing this game for years and we love how challenging it can be to make a space work! Ive recommended this game to several people and it never disappoints.
Im tired of how expensive the game gets. Its enjoyable but its costly to really play.
This game is so much fun, and way better than any other interior design games Ive tried. However, the farther along you get, the less and less you really can do unless you pay real money unfortunately. It gets harder and harder to buy the inventory to actually play the game unless you pay for realwhich is such a bummer.
We really love playing this game because we love to decorate at home and in life. We just wish it was so expensive and we could play more, but they limit you so much by not letting you play when you run out of coins. We paid for a subscription to color therapy because it was on 9 bucks a month which is doable for a game app! We refuse to pay the prices for this game even though we enjoy it. Lower the prices and you might have more buyers.
We loved this app we started off playing and became addicted to it where we took it up a notch and started to actually pay for things but what gets us is how you spend coins on some items go to another design and what you just purchased cant be used Im also at a level where we are being forced to buy tokens so is that the end of the game or the free version.
Since when do yall lack people out when they dont make their status do you really think thats fair? We like this game but you keep changing the rules and for people who dont have Apple Pay or PayPal its really unfair. Dont you think.
We DO NOT like the changes youve made, at all! We have always found Redecor to be relaxing, fun and challenging. Now, its just a rip off! We do not appreciate having items, that we have already earned or paid for, locked, forcing us to buy tokens or coins over and over. We have abandoned several designs, when we discover we have NO items, which we have already paid to unlock, available to us unless we pay again, to un lock them in the next challenge. Ive loved Redecor from the beginning, but now find Redecor to be frustrating, stressful and not worth our time.
We believe everyone has their own taste but sometimes its absolutely ridiculous. In Duels, its you against one other decorated room. It didnt make sense that within 5 min one decor got 100% and the other zero. It was OBVIOUS that the room that got zero was nicer than the other. Very suspicious.
This is a very fun game. Im really enjoying it. There are many options and you can pay to play or not. You also judge for in-game coins. We recommend this game.
Very entertaining and realistic.
