This puzzle is well worth the prize. Same style of puzzle as the The Room puzzles. Not for people without patience. Good to solve at your leisure.

Ok, honestly this game was great. The graphics were phenomenal, the puzzles were VERY hard, especially the red and blue cube one in the beginning, and the cylinder one later on, and we had to search the internet to find out that a skip button pops up after about 10 minutes of not being able to solve the puzzle. Without the skip button, we were going to quit the game. We were that frustrated. But we had a lot of trouble with the majority of the puzzles, not sure why, Im a seasoned player of this type of game, but this game really gave us a run for our money, literally. The 3rd chapter was beautiful and the most fun to us with all of the colors at the end. The reviews about the controls and the frame rate problem were accurate. We did not like the controls. We had a lot of trouble getting things to fit and it just seemed to lag every so often. Other than the wonky controls and the lagging, the game was really fun and it took us a few hours to complete. It says to be continued at the end, and we hope so. Its really a great game and deserves 5 stars.

Its a great game, but after we finished the first level it told us we had to pay for all the other levels. We think this is unfair cause who wants to play a game with only one free level and have to pay for the rest.

Its definitely an amazing puzzle room, and similar to the room series, however, we appreciated that this game didnt have all the cut scenes with unnecessary background info. I, for one, enjoy puzzles that move more quickly from scene to scene or level to level like this one. The puzzles are in the same format as the room, there are aspect puzzles. This one took us (off and on) about two days.. Maybe 3-5 hours of play Id say. Worth the money!

We love the game we got a response on how to progress after the Alphabet Killer puzzle. Thank you love the game.

Worth the money spent. We have played a lot of real and virtual escape and puzzle games. This game is challenging but you dont spend most of the time wondering what to do next. The flow of tasks makes sense and while some puzzles are difficult and take a lot of time to complete, the difficulty does not lie in not knowing if you are doing the right thing. The puzzles arent made more difficult with obtuse instructions or convoluted solutions. The game is one of the most well planned and fluid ones we’ve ever played. We would buy more products like this from this developer for sure.

One of the most challenging but amazing games we’ve played so far.

While these are our preferred style of games, RiddLord is by itself a very good puzzler and well designed. For those who have shared negative comments or given up on this game, perhaps well designed puzzlers are not for you. We just finished this and would like to see more in this series.

It was difficult enough and graphics were fun. This is our second favorite game after the prison escape. We liked that at the end it was very whimsical. We have iPhone 7 and no problems with controls. We could only find one green treasure, we wonder where the other 3 were. For the magnet puzzle you have to imagine it in 3D and look at whats opposite of what. The glass triangle was so frustrating, and thats why we liked the game. The controls were way too sensitive for that one. We did it! Please more!

Wow – what a beautiful game! This is the first game we’ve encountered that is similar to The Room series, and we’ve looked far and wide. Beautiful, smooth graphics on our iPad Pro iOS 13.1.2. We’ve had no glitches, so they must have fixed the ones reviewers were complaining about a year ago. Puzzles are satisfyingly challenging. Makes us think and work without being frustrating. There is an option for normal vs hardcore difficulty. We are playing normal and its challenging enough. Keep up the great work!

The game is very fun, we would like to play more. The puzzles are very challenging and kept us thinking the entire time. We hope theres more to come!

Im hoping the developers will read this and help us out. We agree the game is hard but the graphics and challenges make it worth it. We are currently in the room we have taken the key that open the door that say open us with the big question mark. We’ve looked on you tube and the bottom flips down then you put the key on the right and the top flips up. The bottom wont flip down we have turned it different ways am we missing something? Thanks Mary.

It was great until we hit a glitch and had to delete it in the middle of the game.

One nice looking game but need a bit brighter the control were a bit off but nothing trouble . But for the money and the game is not done yet dose not make us to happy. We hope the story will come soon. Are you still working on it ? We hope so.

We also read the reviews about bad controls, but decided to give this a chance. There is much to love about the game- some fun puzzles and great graphics. Most of the time, the controls are just fine and very intuitive. But there are some serious problems, starting with the glass cylinder puzzle and moving on from there. The glass cylinder puzzle is a horrible puzzle in and of itself, but the controls for it are just awful, too. We nearly gave up the game until a friend told us about the skip function- which is totally non-intuitive. Please just get rid of that puzzle. And the control problems persist from there. Its like two separate games- the one before the glass cylinder puzzle and the one after. Before, everything works smoothly and is interesting, and afterwards, everything is a disaster. The rainbows and camera in space puzzles are terrible, horribly difficult to control, and frankly just boring. So this game is both a great and a terrible game in one package. Ill be interested to see what the developers do next- and for the record, Ill probably buy their next game to see how (hopefully) theyve improved.

Everything was very enjoyable until the last level when the controls became very counter intuitive.

Absolutely terrible controls, really annoying to get working sometimes even when you know the solution. The plot makes zero sense as well.

After you clear the first puzzle you gotta buy the game.

We played the first chapter and it went fine. Once we got to the second chapter and the alphabet puzzle, we arranged the letter correctly, it lit up and then it did nothing. If it doesnt open, you dont get the final part to make a key. We’ve reloaded it twice, played all the way through just to get to the same puzzle that wont work. We should have listen to the reviews. We thought because they were older, the glitches would have been fixed by now. They havent. Apparently the maker doesnt care enough to fix the problems. Save your money.

This might be a good game. Not sure though because the have a Rubiks cube in it and Im incapable of solving those. Trust us, we’ve tried. Spent 6 hours trying to solve this one. Nope.

Love the story beginning. The lighting, effects, and textures were all great, as well as the puzzles themselves. Although, we were quite disappointed by the time the third area rolled around, in which the story turned from investigative suspense to… I, uh, we’re not quite sure what. Formatwise – LOVE IT. Storywise? Um… We’re not so sure. In our opinion, the story needs to have the same theme all the way through. We mean, how many times have you ever seen a Sherlock Holmes or Mr Moto story suddenly go into sci-fi craziness halfway through? Other than that – positively love it! Would probably play the second part of the story (should said second part ever exist). Thanks for the +5 hours of gameplay! ~ PS – Was the Alphabet Killer character inspired by Agatha Christie’s ‘The ABC Murders’? And was Zodiac character inspired by ‘Charlie Chan at Treasure Island’? Yea, we’re a pretty big mystery buff.

Yes its good but just not great. Its nice to look at and tries to be clever. It does succeed at times but we felt it got very lazy towards the end. The story seemed to get thrown away or just didnt make sense with the puzzles as it did towards the beginning. Its not the room or house of Da Vinci but any means but it killed time well despite clunky controls.

We love games like this but as many people have noted, the controls are lacking. Tapping randomly to solve something happens too often. Tapping and/or dragging gives too many wonky responses. Frustrating but a solid effort. We were left with a green turtle amulet at the end of the game and we have no idea why. Plus, there were three other spots for other amulets(?) that remained empty and we dont know if we missed something. All in all, frustrating and also way too short.

The game itself is fine if not as intuitive and imaginative as others in this genre. However, the most maddening aspect of the game is the absolute inability to turn off the music. The first couple of times you hear it its fine, but its repetitive and obnoxious.

The puzzles themselves are wonderful, they really are! BUT there are details in the game play and controls that are lacking or irritatingly off. One moment, everything flows well, pieces fit together, clues are deliciously challenging but it all makes sense. The next moment, you cant get a piece to rotate quite correctly, or something is the tiniest fraction of a millimeter off, or a piece which rotated clockwise the last three times you touched it suddenly rotates counter-clockwise, or the camera shifts wildly when trying to adjust your view of a clue, or that switch you need to turn wont budge until your 5th try… Its these little details of functionality that really, REALLY start to get to you after awhile. To get stuck for 20 minutes on a puzzle only to find with a walkthrough that you were CORRECT in the first place, but the lack of fine control screwed you over, is frustrating. Like other users, we WANT to like this game, we really do! But its just not there yet. Some fine tuning and this thing could HUM, but its a bit too frustrating at the moment.

This game started out good, but by the end of the game we can see what we need to do, but we can figure out the controls to make it work. The middle of the game is kind of a pain. We spent a lot of time searching for things, and by the time we found them we were more frustrated than relieved. Also, the games English breaks down the further in you get.

Its no Eyes of Ara, nor does it come close to The Room, Legacy, DaVinci House or even Returner or 157, but Im running out of games. Graphics and controls are decent. Most puzzles are good and some quite challenging, more so than other games, but also employs knowledge about things not inherent to logic that we did not have before this game and had to look up on the internet. We were thankful for a background in chemistry, but no clue about zodiac or trigrams. Although many games are logical, some are read the authors mind puzzles, which are particularly annoying. The controls sometimes change depending on the game and sometimes the authors order of things is incorrect (zodiac). The story line helps only within the specific/individual room, and is overall complete nonsense. Perhaps this was intended? Overall, fun, decent length and cheap as these games go, but could use a good bit of work. And whats with the shoe?!

If you like games that have bad controls look no more. Almost put our iPhone into the wall a few times. Wow. Ill never play this game again.

Some of these puzzles are lacking needed info for solving without hints, unnecessary steps have to be taken to do the obvious, some of the movable object are very difficult to move without accidentally moving the entire object out of position, and most of the hints are just stating the obvious in a completely unhelpful way. So far… Im disappointed.

It has a great concept but the puzzles are literally impossible. We’ve even did the game cheat watching the you tube video & it does not work. It literally gives you no clues or any direction. Theres a few you tubers that you can watch & see them struggle to figure stuff out. Also look at all the comments on the videos. Everyone is stuck on the same thing we am.

What started out as an awesome game, soon fell apart when we were glitches out of a puzzle piece that was pertinent to continuing. If a piece isnt gotten dont force the game to move on without being able to go back and find it. Great graphics and we were having fun too.

We like a challenge, but this game is just too persnickety. Its hard to control movement or placement of objects so it ends up taking an hour to finish a puzzle even en though you had the solution right from the get go. The only reason kept at it was because we had already payed for it.

As an escape room game it has a lot going for it except 2 things, the controls which is limited by the device you use, and the freaking hints. As an example of how bad the hints are you are looking at puzzle pieces and you dont know how they fit together or what it is even supposed to look like, you use a hint and it tells you this, we could probably make something out of these pieces. NO FREAKING DUH. And the hints are like that everywhere, do not expect them to ever be helpful.

Like everybody else the controller on some puzzles is horrible. There is no way the developer played the game and not notice these issues. If they knew about it and couldnt fix it, they should have mentioned it and owned it. This will make people more understanding if they still buy the game. But still no Excuse.

Puzzles are frustrating as heck. Youll have an idea of what to do but will probably only get there through luck. Controls are so touchy that even when youre doing the right thing it will take several tries. The hints are useless. A shame, because the graphics and the premise are solid. For the developers: offer a bypass feature for at least some of the puzzles. The Rubik’s cube is a perfect example. Challenging to begin with and made even tougher by the crummy controls. Well enjoy the game more if its actually winable.

We got to second chapter and was really enjoying the game. When we got the alphabet puzzle we solved it but the key never drops out as it does in tutorials. What is the problem? We have tried exiting and resolving multiple times to no avail.

5 Stars for Graphics 1 Star for Gameplay Graphics were nice but the game itself was a waste of money especially if you finish the whole game in just a few hours. The puzzles are challenging but its purely just puzzles that dont really relate to the story. There are better puzzle/adventure games for free that make you go and forth from scene to scene depending on previous clues youve found.

Im basically stuck on one puzzle because the controls are so bad that its impossible to complete. Disappointing. The game looks great and has a good story, but it has too many problems. The hints are also useless.

Even with the ? Button the rubix cube puzzle is impossible and its like, the third puzzle of the game. We cant progress and its too bad because this seemed to really have potential. Too frustrating that you cant skip a puzzle (even if you just get a few per game or something). Wish we wouldnt have purchased after the first good puzzle.

Played the free version. Good puzzles and doesnt always follow the formula. Worth playing. But when we bought the full version it wont open and seems to have deleted everything we already did. Developer did not respond. Its too much trouble.

Who the heck puts a rubix cube in your game?! Even if its a small one AND with all the hints AND with a visual solution thing we still cant solve the stupid thing. Way to ruin what is otherwise an enjoyable and well made game. We wouldnt have spent $4 if we knew there was a rubix cube in it. We would have given 1 star but we know its partly our fault for being too dumb to solve your darn puzzle. We bet as soon as you solve it theres a slide puzzle too.

3 steps into the puzzle and the free version ends. Would be nice to have had a longer first puzzle.

We really want to rate this game higher, Im a big fan of puzzle based escape style games, this one looked to be an amazing choice, and for $4 you really cant go wrong or can you? The overall graphics arent amazing, but arent terrible, the attention to the puzzles are there, but the rest of the scene is lacking. The puzzles themselves are impossible. You have to try again and again to get the items in EXACTLY the right spot for them to work, after a while we just gave up, increase the field in which items will be accepted and change a couple of little things to make sure the game accepts peoples actions and this would be a 4 star game, pushing 5. Disappointing.

We wanted to love this game. For the first chapter, everything was good. We liked the puzzles and they were a good brain exercise. After that, not so much. The controls are just awful. The clear cylinder puzzle, we know what we needed to do but every time we swiped our finger a different segment would move than the one we wanted. Luckily theres a skip option but if the developers know the puzzle is so bad, it needs a skip option, then it probably shouldnt be there. There were times we knew the answer to a puzzle but when we put a piece of something on the correct thing, it wouldnt do anything so we thought it was wrong only to later figure out it was right, but we wasnt able to do so due to not placing the object in the tiny exact spot it needed to be in. The last area with the rainbow puzzles require very little thought other than how do we make the game recognize our finger movement.

We also cannot figure out how people are getting a skip option, we’ve never gotten an option to skip a puzzle.

Very difficult game with esoteric and meaningless clues. Tapping has to be exact in order to get action to happen. Not worth our time.

We feel that this game had a lot of potential. What bothers us about many adventure puzzle games like this is when you cannot complete a certain puzzle and cannot progress. This game has a puzzle called The Ultimate Supreme which is a 3 dimensional cylinder that needs to be twisted and rotated to complete. And for the life of us we just cannot do it. On an iPad the controls are VERY touchy and finicky and although we only needed one more twist to complete it, the twist went the wrong way and screwed it up. EVERY game like these should give you the option of skipping a puzzle if you cannot complete it. If the customer wants to skip a puzzle he should be allowed that option. Now we paid for this game and cannot continue. A refund should be allowed then.

Puzzles are pretty good but controls are glitchy. Not worth the frustration.
