This is a great game but we feel like everything keep staying same. 1)When we update senate we want the castle to look different. 2)When we change era we want everything to look different or upgraded version. 3)we think developers should calculate how much dimond is needed instead of coin. Player will never have that type of dimond. 4)Make more ways to make diamonds. Love the game but with above kind of changes more people would be tempting to play.
So this game is pretty good but all of these improvements it means oh we just hate when it doesnt have all these improvements you have to you literally have to spend 200 diamonds to conquer somewhere and its so hard to get power we mean, like really hard to build stuff its not like a game that we have for rise of kingdoms. Its pretty easy to get loot. Its really easy to get loot and run the kingdom this game. Its so hard to get loot. We mean like its so horrible and its so hard to attack peopleand we mean like people this is like kids this is kids and we mean its just so stupid and the kids cant pay money. Parents have to do it and all and you so so so so so so so hard to get money we mean we mean like its so dumb. Why would you download this game so do not download this game? OK do not.
Basically this is just another version of Forge of Empires. Sadly though it has to rig it's advertisement system so when you press exit it registers as a click for revenue.
Since the app updated this last Easter weekend, the app will not open. Deleted and reloaded from App store, still wont load.
We cant seem to heal our warrior for the Pluto cave for some weird reason. Is this a glitch? Finally redownloaded this game after a long time and we cant do anything. Its fun overall though.
This game is total money scam. Will screw you completely at every turn. Computer algorithm is set to totally screw you – mega armies of villains that you cant defeat, unless you spend major dollars! These villain armies make unreal attacks that screw out of points & money. TOTAL rip-off! Dont waste your time or money! Find a better game that you can really enjoy! F-.
Ive played the old games like Caesar III, Zeus, and Poseidon and those were fun. This game is similar enough to those that playing this game wasnt too hard to learn. Pro – completing certain tasks gives you diamonds – no time cost in transporting troops to fight provinces – if your hero dies in a dungeon, they eventually come back. Not gone forever, like we originally thought. Whew. Con – everything is so expensive when using diamonds. 6K to 11K to build a wonder? Really?? – it so hard to find developement points to expand as part of science research. Then it is another couple of thousand in gold just to get buy the plot. Why?? So annoying – progressively costs more gold and takes longer (hours upon hours) for scouts to move to the next province. Why does it cost more and take longer?? Another annoyance – culture levels: houses start dipping to 100% and 50% production from %120 if there isnt enough culture. However, it is so hard to build more parks, fountains, and statutes because space is limited and it is challenging to expand, as pointed out above. So now you can get stuck where gold production is at 50% and youre limping along trying to improve things until enought time passes and you get more development points to expand or you decide to delete some production building to make room for a stupid fountain. – Upgrading hero gear and weapons both take combat tokens that you have to go into dungeons in to get. Each upgrade only increases attack or defense by a few points, but you spend so much time in the dungeons trying to get to chests with this resource. – Dungeon runs to get resources, each run nets you maybe 38 food. Really? Thats it?? Stingy and disproportionate rewards system – Upgrading a hero takes thousands of gold, but only increases the attack and defense by a few points each level. We could go on, listing more cons, but you get the idea. Ive stopped playing this game and bought Total War Rome instead. If Im going to spend money, Id want more options. Like most mobile games, this mac game seems to exist with the sole goal of extracting as much money out of the user as possible. Pay to play and pay to win.
We have finished the last 12th era and started working on monuments. We have no chance to either buy or get any land extension to be able to expand our city which is so sad and frustrating . Do you think about adding more land extensions to players like ourselves? We loveeeee new constructor feature! Its fantastic. Our city finally look like we want it to be and we are able to use every single spot to increase our power. We also like new battles with a participation of all clan members. Its cool. We love graphics with cute little details and animations of all buildings but we really regret we cant use all those beautiful decorations because by using the ones with a low power and low culture level decreases our power which Im not willing to sacrifice and because of the land extensions shortage Im no able to build them. We wouldnt mind buying the land so please at least consider to offer the extensions at the store. Do you have a date when a new era would be available? We really enjoy this game, it reminds us times when we played Pharaoh and Caesar games on computer, we appreciate your effort to develop new features and uplift players experience and fun while playing it. Cant wait to see whats coming.
Some kind of bug were the game rebooted on us twice , wiping out all of our progress . The second time we sunk 20 into it for a fresh start . Enjoyable game otherwise , slow paced with a lot of planning & strategy.
Love the game, but it froze up and we couldnt continue to play. Tried turning off the game and starting it again. It keeps freezing in the same spot.
Training units beyond their default health, when you auto battle and the unit takes more damage than the default health and have something like 2/10 heath left, they are counted as dead and not injured. Really annoying to spend time and money training units to be better only for them to die. Still a fun game.
We joined this game not long ago, but we wish there were more ways to earn money. Our development is only slowed by one thing: The efficency of our money earning. Great game, setting that aside. We'd totally recommend it =).
Flexible game- play as little or as much as you have time available. Ive got through chemo with this game, it was a breeze. There is a few different directions you may choose, it is fun to figure it out and find your own way.
We were enjoying this Elvenar like game until we got a message upon booting that the dungeon was accessible. Since we have been unable to load the game: it opens to the main game screen but is unresponsive afterwards.
We really like that this game can be played well, long-term, and without necessitating in-app purchases. Gems are fun and speed things up but not requited to keep playing. We are almost to Senate level 7, have been playing for a few months, and have only spent $1.99 in the app. One feature we are desperate for is a way to store all buildings and roads/features so we can play with our citys design. That is probably 70% of why we love city-builders and its essentially impossible to do in this game. PLEASE, game devs, let us store and re-place our buildings and things.
Too easy to get the sell button when attempting to place an order, and the money has to be collected all the time, it doesnt accumulate while you are away from the game. Painful having to have paths built to allow buildings to be placed, takes up space that could be used for buildings.
Ive been playing this game for 2 or 3 months now. We think its a fun little game. However we wish the land expansions were bigger or more frequent. There were times we couldnt upgrade because we didnt have enough people. We didnt have land to build more houses. So we had to sell a building we needed to build a house to get more people. We wish there were more info on the heroes. We dont know what a AP is what to do with them. Yes the heroes need work. When they get surrounded they just stand there and get beat up or killed we like this game. Just needs some more work.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!!we downloaded this a month ago and was totally addicted. However, we are now hitting a wall because it is so expensive in gold and food to progress that the game has now become frustrating. Its ridiculous that the buildings cannot hold more than one hours gold. Then, one day we log on and our city is suddenly gone! We emailed customer service and have not heard back for three weeks. Suddenly they closemy support request without resolving anything. This game and its developers are a pure scam.
Its a cute game we like that its kind of like a build at your own pace and you dont have to worry about other people attacking you. The only downfall is we dont have enough time in the day to keep checking in and collecting coins from the houses so they can have enough to expand for more land.Every time you expand your land the price goes up for the next expansion see you kind of have to put off progression to save up for the next land expansion which is an even a land. We guess Ill just hold on and play a little longer and see how it goes.
This game has a concept similar to a few othergames already out there, like the Forge of Empires. Gameplay is good but we guess the developers made sure to test your patience if you dont want to spend real cash on it. Our experience was a well-paced start which slowed down to just a couple minutes every visit rapidly as Im missing resources to do tasks quite often and have to wait for another 8 hours or so to produce some. It suits us fine as Im not into spending too much time playing games, but if youre a fast advancer type of player, be ready to pay.
Great idea for a game. REALLY GOOD on NEED NO WIFI. But food/resource generate are tooooo Sloooooooow!!!!!! At first, we were try to complain about the 1 DP wait for 1hour!?!?! But compare to the food, not a problem. The food generate are so UNFAIR according to the needed time. 2nd day playing, guess we have to wait another day for all our upgrade because shortage of food.
We liked playing this game, we love building games that we can do at our own pace, but, everything is so jam packed together, its a pain to move or rearrange anything, and when you try touching something to move it, you get the road thats behind it, or when you try to collect your goods produced, you get whatever is behind that building, got really frustrating, should have like a temporary storage spot to put stuff so rearranging is easier, and balancing the population needs work, we mean by the time you get enough to do anything, you have like 30 low lvl housing and just to add better ones and sell low level, you need population, so ya needs work, uninstalled.
Terrible Terrible Terrible game if you go into raids and step away during negotiations and game resets and is always stuck in that mode and you can never get your city back to what you had! You delete game to try reset and it loses everything have to start all over. Has happened multiple time and Im done messing with this poor company. Terrible Terrible Terrible.
The game is fun but moves very slow but Im early in the game presently. There needs to be more to do and make things cheaper to speed the game up.
We are a long time player of Forge of Empires and this seems to be a simplified version. We have a wish list future upgrades. 1. We would like to cancel an order for goods or supplies after it is made. We have hit the wrong button more than once. 2. We upgraded a building beyond the level a quest calls for. Do we rally have to sell the building and start over? 3. There are quests appearing that are way beyond our capabilities.
It takes far too long to level up. Not sure what the point is, but seems very well made. A lot of waiting around.

We dont understand all the five star reviews. This game has horrible UI that constantly tries to get you to slip and click on an ad. Its also terribly slow progress. It feels like a money trap immediately.
This game was kind of fun, but you very soon get to the point that you would need to spend ridiculous amounts of money just to progress at a low/moderate level. We expect to pay for some in-app purchases with any game to support the developers of the game but this one expects way too much.
This could have been such a fantastic game. But almost everything in this game is done wrong. 1. Food and Gold – the 2 big currencies are in such short supply that you can barely play for 15 minutes cumulatively in the entire day. 2. You expand your city through expansions. These are so small that you can barely place one 3 by 3 building on each one. So you save gold for 3 days , unlock the expansion technology in the research tree (you have to unlock it each time you want to get an expansion) and then all you get is this minuscule place to grow your city into. 3. The ships that can take your goods so you can get more gold – if this worked it would be so much easier and fun to play. You fight pirates and the route is now safe. You send your ships on a safe route. They randomly still get attacked by the pirates and you lose your goods and the ship which again costs tons of money and food to build. 4. Decorations- good news is that they dont require a road to connect and so can be placed anywhere. Bad news – as you upgrade your research on these, you need to delete the old ones coz they dont give you that much culture. Never mind that you liked the look of that fountain more than the school. So once you get the school, you basically delete fountains and put schools. Then you get temple, you delete schools and put temples. It destroys the look of your city. And soon you will realise its best to clump all the decorations into as small a place as possible because of the limited space. Your city has no aesthetic appeal left. You have to basically juggle your buildings and decorations to fit in these tight places with acres and acres of map waiting to be unlocked. Perhaps the longest review we have ever written – we did want to give this game a chance but at every turn this game simply didnt feel fun or playable. This is perhaps the most perfect example of how not to make a game. We are glad we didnt s-end any money on this game – simple math will tell you that you might have to spend in hundreds of dollars simply to actually play the game. These kind of devs should be banned form the App Store. Dont download. Dont buy anything. If you did make the mistake of downloading this . Delete.
Nostalgia aside from the old PC games we long for, this is a horrible concept for a game. Most Empire Building games we have played, you always have an abundance of food, and little to no currency to use to upgrade items in game…but this game is the complete opposite. Everything in game requires an inordinate amount of food to build, INCLUDING flowers, but the production of food is worse than watching grass grow…literally. Food does not automatically get collected…you have to click to gather it…so be prepared to be glued to your screen for every minute, out of the day, if you want to progress…UNLESS you crack open your wallet. You have to research expansions to place buildings, yet each DP (development point) takes an hour to be available…and every research requires 2 or 3 DP. Buildings have to be connected by road (just like the PC game of old) but your expansion clearing is so small, that it makes development impossible beyond playing for a day or 2…UNLESS you crack that wallet. So disappointing…coulda been a good game minus developer greed. This game is a case study on how NOT to make a playable app.
So far its been interesting building and developing our city. Any wait to see whats next, developers need to concentrate on an inventory bag where we can place buildings not used or decor in order for us to move buildings around fast and easier.
It is an amazing game if you enjoy a excellent strategy game that requires you to prioritize and manage scarce resources… We are truly enjoying and not spending any money… Perfect if you can only play 1 or 2 hours total a day.
Your money. You cant grow at all without spending a minimum of $10 or more almost daily. These guys didnt even offer a $0.99 teaser buy to try to keep us. Delete and move on.
So in the last update they completely removed the ability to progress in the game organically. We dont know who designed this, but having production buildings get less proportionally efficient seems like an odd thought. Battle outcomes make no sense considering the stats given. Im not even mentioning the obscenely long wait times. Its clearly designed to extract money in exchange for even a little bit of game play….except the game play is frustrating and makes no sense half the time. Whoever wrote the copy for in game pop ups needs to take remedial English. (negotiations. Not negitations.) Awful, awful game. It actually makes us sad that this got published at all.
Dont bother. Unless you just cant seem to click your screen without spending money.
Instead of fighting Roman soldiers in the map mode it should be barbarians and every section should be a different tribe like the Gaul in one Britannia in another and others unless you are going for the Roman civil war.
Just another app pretending to be a game. Just another app requiring constant purchases of resources. AVOID THIS TRAP.
Takes forever to get anywhere. And where are the pieces to build great structures? We started with one and have not seen mention of anymore anywhere in the game.

… Many moons ago called Cesar. We got our partner to download last night as well and we are both enjoying the strategy and time management aspects of the game. We also really like that we are not forced to join some kind of clan (so far, anyway). We are looking forward to where the game goes from here. Decent job on the conversion from a PC came of the EARLY 2000s to one that fits our electronic devices of today. Thank you for your efforts in doing so. We shall revisit our rating after playing for a bit – hope it goes up to a 5star and not down, lol.

Could be a fun game, but the time it takes to get a moderate amount of food to advance game play is absurd. Not worth the time unless you are willing to pay a lot.

Two times Ive downloaded and restarted the game . Its a fun game . Until it just decides to not work anymore causing you to delete and download again. Making you restart from the beginning. How frustrating is that . Got us twice . There will be no third time.
Really nice graphics and music. Well organized game, lots to do when starting out. Makes you have to think and choose your options. Looking forward to more updates – we hope soon.
Has the potential to be a good game but we cannot build homes. Anywhere. Even with expanding lands, the homes cant be built lol. But am we not able to build homes due to the specific roads not yet built? One star for now Update 2020 may 15 we have deleted the game. We cant build homes. Not sure why, but we cannot build roads to the houses have a block on them.
We played this game everyday in last two months, we love it and expect the updates. However, the game cant be started suddenly last night. Do we have to reinstall it? Im note sure if we can take back our process even we have the screen shot of our game ID. Does Anybody get in the same trouble? Can the developers give us some help.
Enjoyable game. After a couple of weeks the game wouldnt come up. Deleted and redownloaded but all our progress was lost. Deleted for good. A shame.
