Good game, but it has stopped working for iOS. All of a sudden the game wont sync with what ever it is it needs to. The shop and quest, and battle ground wont update. Too bad.

Its almost impossible to contact the game creators.

Initially wasnt sure if Id enjoy it because we normally dont care much for this type of game but this one is done very well. The graphics are extremely good and the gameplay is well thought out. 0 complaints here, try it out!

We’ve been playing for a while and now we can only choose 3 hero battles. If we try to play a 4 or 5 hero battle the hexes are highlighted and empty and we cannot place heroes on the board. We have to retreat from the battle. Was it an update that messed this up? (Ipad 8th gen with plenty of memory.)

It was fun in the beginning, however, the game gets too P2W later on and if you dont spend money, it takes years in doing repetitive boring same thing to develop your minions. We have played for a few months already honestly we cant hang in this game anymore. The main dungeon line is so little to finish and the side dungeon are boring and repetitive. Hopefully the developers will add more content and make the game less greedy.

We had fun at first, but then we got to a point where we couldnt beat new stages and we couldnt upgrade our characters. Seems like when we needed gold shards, id only get silver shards and visa versa. <deleted>

Game is alright, but the in-app purchases really are not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great art and a surprising amount of depth. Interface is nice and smooth. App icon is kind of dumb though.

Outstanding games!!! Fun and challenging to play. Keep us interested!!!

We are really liking this game so far. The abilities and movement style are refreshing. The character design and maps are pleasant to look at. We dont really have any complaints to be honest. Im really hoping that this one sticks. Thanks to the devs.

We didnt play it because we like to compete and we didnt see it in description. We saw it on YouTube and we came back and now guild war is being implemented which is awesome. The graphics are good and gameplay is fun but we would like to see some kind of animation when using special movies. Good job. Looking forward further updates!

Its a decent game with good graphics. Its a bit repetitive and the rewards are not very rewarding lol. Boring repetitive hard work vs minuscule reward. Specially the raid season rewards… So much work for crap. Needs new content and some changes or will lose interest very soon.

This game is basically the same as another game we used to play. Be prepared to spend lots of cash if you want to be competitive.

Purchased the daily gems deal and only got Day 1 rewards. We havent received anything for several days now. Our guild screen is stuck on loading no matter how long we leave the window open. Playing on iPhone 11 Max Pro. Buggy game.

Good game. Monetization is horrendously greedy. DO, NOT, SUPPORT THESE DEVS.

The game crashes constantly. After we accumulated 1500 gems, and spent them on five tokens to summon the 10 token bonus, it crashed took all our gems and tokens and that was that. And the game pretty much is just a grind. Pretty disappointing. The app support page took us to a blank screen.

Wish we could play more. The cost to play is getting out of hand. This one will likely go to the bottom of the pile as we’ll have to wait a day or two to play again. Update After playing for a couple of more days. The time it takes to get anything and the cost to play are fast making this potentially great game impossible to play. We pay for games and have been known to put money down when it’s worthwhile. The cost/time structure is slightly ridiculous. Between laurels OR shards, and wasting a lot of time and effort to not get what you need, and then time it takes between attempts on top of sheer cost, we’re losing interest. After reading Reddit threads on this game it sounds like this is a common complaint. It’s too bad you’re losing long term players.

This is an old game originally called valiant heroes two years ago. It had the same look and game play. It failed then with pretty bad ratingthe economy system killed the fan base. Now it is repeating the history. How can you expect to build a community if its gonna take years to ascend a hero? PS: the App Store rating is really misleading. Its much lower in the other store.

30 attempts and 1 reward when it is a 12.5% drop rate. AI for uncontrolled summons is horrible when they suicide the bombs on the beach. 100 shards to unlock a character, you get 1 shard every few days. So much potential, so little faith in the creators. Its been months, fix the game already, please.

This game had a lot of potential. The graphics are good, the characters are interesting, and the table top style game play is fun. But the game very quickly becomes a total grind. Any progress requires characters to advance, and thats an incredibly slow and expensive slog. You either need to spend outrageously or still spend a lot and invest tons of time repetitively using raid tickets for a increasingly slim chance of obtaining what you need to advance. Theres also an onslaught mode that can help you advance, but that can be used very infrequently. Otherwise, you quickly hit a point where theres just not all that much to do. All this is fixable, but it doesnt seem like the developers are interested in growing the game or devoting much thought to it.

Signed on after a year and everything is gone :(

Logged in after a while and everything was gone. We paid money for different packs and we guess they stole that from megreat work devsugh.

Guys we have played hundreds of games and everyone is right here. This is just a money grab. Well developed and we get it but this one is a tad on the ridiculous side. We dont have a million dollars to make this game enjoyable. Nice try devs! We would say make it better but you wont so keep scraping in your measly profits from the couple whales that play. Hopefully your next development isnt the greediest we’ve ever seen.

Offers such a great verity of players and types of steadies you can use, won’t need to play any other games like it!

We love the music and its so fun !!!

We just stumbled on this game and so far we enjoy its strategy and design. Im grateful for the initial lead in to the mechanics of gameplay. It was quick thoughtful and gave an idea of creating strategies while progressing ahead. Thank you. We look forward to the adventure ahead.

Super good graphics! The game could be great if it wasnt as expensive for chest/diamonds. You can grind it to get your characters better, but if you actually want good characters to beat the bosses, get three stars on the level.. Etc then you have to pay for diamonds (too expensive). We’ve been playing solgard for around 2 years and its also pay to win but this game is a money pit):

The game in itself is fun and pretty deep. However this is a text book pay to play game. Then if/when you spend a couple bucks you get next to nothing. 25$ to be able to do the x10 guaranteed ultimate draw, the you get an ultimate shard. Just to find out you need 800 shards to unlock the character! Cmon. No in game way to unlock most of the characters, and after chapter 2 you begin quickly being crushed by the AI. Again its fun and put together, but either prepare to drop a couple hundred or dont bother.

We love tactics games and gatcha games, and this is both. Similar to FF Tactics, but very different world and art style. The gameplay itself is fun, but our goodness, this is the stingiest game we’ve played on the App Store out of hundreds. As many others have noted, the economy is completely warped. Buying anything with any of the currencies is absurdly expensive, the energy system/recharge are ridiculous, even cool downs are 12 hours for a 90 second run everything is out of whack. This makes progress extremely slow, and there are multiple limitations/restrictions on powering-up characters, which slows things down even more. Shard systems are fine for unlocking characters, but shards AND laurels AND multiple other slow down the players to make them pay money measures is inexcusable. Ill still give it a shot since its new and the developers will hopefully make some changes, but if not, we will not be sticking with this one or spending any more money. Lots more enjoyable and generous games out there.

We were playing this for a bit and there are some good points to the game. We quickly found several bugs that greatly effected the game. Then one night all our characters were rolled back about two days but our levels we cleared were still there.

We agree with many others. This is fun in the beginning, but after playing for about a month, you hit a wall with upgrading characters. As you get higher in levels, the items you need to ascend and promote the characters become too rare to find with the limited number of attempts per day. It becomes frustrating when paired with the fact that the levels become exponentially more difficult, especially when you cant upgrade the characters. Fun game at first, but we are getting ready to remove it from our iPad. Too bad because this could have been a long term keeper if it had better balancing. Look to Empires and Puzzles for a well balanced game.

Game is awesome, but kicks us out every 10 minutes. And we have to reload, but lots of fun.

Could be an absolutely great game, but it is not. Really good graphics, gameplay, and progression possibilities ruined by hard bottlenecks on things needed to get stronger. When you need 3000 gold to level up one ability on one character and you get minuscule amounts of gold for playing through campaign stages, and the same bottlenecks exist for other progression materials, you soon find the game comes to a complete standstill. It feels like the devs tried to come up with a great game that would inspire you to pay a lot to progress, but in that they have failed with us. Spending moderate amounts of money would only extend the time until you again come to a standstill. Too bad, we could have loved and supported this game.

Enjoyable, slightly challenging, and great fun.

But we dont like games that require our IPad to be vertical since we keep our charger plugged in.

Im a big fan of turn based strategy, so this game was very fun initially, but as we’ve played for over a year now we’ve watched the game get worse and worse. In the past three months we’ve dealt with bugs around the energy and ticketing system almost weekly, and their support team hasnt done anything to fix the problem. Its especially frustrating in the middle of their tournaments, as we’ve been knocked out of strong positions with no support received when we reached out. Most recently they changed the game so internet is required to play. We were hoping this would fix the problems, as their support team said their issues were around syncing when we played offline, but Im still having the same problems, as well as a whole host of new problems where the game wont recognize our internet. Hoping this review will help others avoid getting invested in a game that doesnt support its players or correct for the impact of its bugs.

We have been playing this game for a long time. We are a level 30. We are giving this game one star because the developers have not provided the resources for top players to progress. There is an item to promote higher level heroes called the Divine Orb. We currently need 64 of these and on average you can get one or two a week. Sorry, we are not waiting a year to level all the toons up. Another problem is the reward system. After completing quests or an event, you get various items to improve your toons. The problem is most of our characters are epic+ and we still get common items that we have not needed in months. They need to tailor rewards to the character set of the player. We have put tickets in with these concerns and have received silence in response.

This is really a fun game to play. Good blend of tactics and character collection/development. However, after a week or so of play, it will rapidly become apparent how much the developers want you to drop some real money, and how they will increasingly punish you if you dont. Youll find that the one resource you will always be lacking in is gold coins; virtually everything in the game depends on it. This game gives miserly a whole new meaning. Without spending cash, gold is ludicrously scarce. A whole days worth of gameplay might earn you enough to increase ONE stat on maybe ONE of your heroes. Its very frustrating, and ironic, because that level of scrooge-ness just makes us more stubbornly NOT to want to give them money. Hopefully soon, theyll realize their error and tweak things a bit….

Its just bright lights and sounds. Very pretty. But the tutorial is brief, the arena doesnt work because youll probably lose, and the guilds are quiet. Fun for a day or two and then you should probably find another game.

As we and a lot of other reviews here agree, the game is great on the outside. Graphics, characters, boards etc.. But once you start the grind of leveling these characters you start to feel like ok is a grindy kind of game, but its fun so not bad. Unfortunately, it is grindy and bad! The grind in this game is almost impossible! We get the devs dont want all the pay to play peeps to get everything and be bored but we dont even see how they can do it!! Seriously here is a legit breakdown.. One character lets say is an Uncommon. This character comes in at 1. To raise its star it takes some emblems, no biggie. Get it to 2 then three with the emblem amount increased each time. No issue just quick raid each level right… Nope. Only 10 a day! But, lets say you get to 4, now its time to evolve to rare. This takes a new set of emblems (rarer drop) and two other ingredients that can, you guessed it only be purchased or dropped from a different mode that you get three attempts a day, good luck! This all wouldnt be bad if it didnt keep you from leveling up characters past a certain level (Uncommon capped at 17) which in turn makes clearing stages eventually halt! Sadly, this will happen and all you are stuck doing is daily achievements to get 10 tokens to hopefully draw some luck out of a 10 summon. Its really off balance for any player tbh. Devs need to listen and fix some of these issues. The game is broken.

Definitely pay to win. The developers fail to put reasonable information on rewards and drop rates on the draws. Its a money grab. They want you to keep buying gems to unlock the higher tiers will miserably low odds at getting anything high.

We made an in app purchase and never received what we bought. It was supposed to be a first time purchase x2 currency kind of thing. We wasnt able to get assistance from the developers and had to dispute the transaction. It was very disheartening as we like to spend money here and there to support these types of games we enjoy. The lack of customer support is why Im giving this game a 1 star. Fun game just dont buy anything.

UPDATE: we deleted it. We like the game a lot. But we just cant afford to play it the way they want. We dont normally leave these but this game has a lot of potential and we hope the Devs listen to the community. The balance in the game is skewed toward pay to play and whales. We all know games arent free to develop and they need to make money to keep content coming. However, if you drive away the fan base of ftp and low spenders the game will die too. The positives: very fun to play when you have energy or tickets for events. Graphics are great and the character system is interesting. Lots of potential for growth. The negatives: Wait time for energy is excruciating. Gem costs, gold drop amount and character shard drop rates are abysmal. The two shard upgrade system makes leveling your heroes take a ridiculously long time as you grind away unless you . Plus there is a two gear system that also makes powering up expensive. 3000 gems for a 10 summons seems reasonable until you see that you only get a few gems a day. Heck you cant even do a 10x summons for less than $25 if you dont have the bonus gems and that 10x summons might not include anything other than gear and shards for heroes you arent close to getting. Lots of potential for a winner. Lot of potential for it to die quickly if the devs dont adjust some things.

Its a lot of fun and the heros are cool :)

Definately put a staple to standards with this one … Graphics are amazing… And difficulty is fair … At least initially … Very impressed with the cheap deals right away… If you want to make purchases … Its not necassary to.
