What’s New in the Latest Update?

As I indicated in the last release notes, I upgraded my development environment to support iOS 17 and performed extensive testing to ensure nothing was broken. Unfortunately, I do not have the means to regression test as far back as iOS 12 which is the minimum version on the OS that RBG will support. Well, it turns out there was a bit of an issue with that release as it applied to iOS 12.
The issue manifested in that RBG was crashing as soon as it was launched on an iOS12 iPad. The crash was immediate and was not providing me with any data in the form of “crash reports”. When Jim texted me using “Send Feedback”, I immediately started to diagnose the issue.
Luckily, I was able to uncover some chatter in the Apple Developer Forums that appeared to explain the issue and, following guidance, I was able to make some adjustments in this release. My fingers are crossed that it works. I have tested pretty extensively to ensure nothing breaks on IOS 17, but if you run into issues, please reach out to me.
Many thanks to Jim, a long time supporter, for reaching out and letting me know about the problem. As I told him when he apologized for "causing me trouble", I’m grateful that the issue happened to him (first?) because not everyone would have taken the time to let me know and give me the opportunity to address the issue.
There is another fix in this release: Josh also reached out to me using "Send Feedback" to alert me to the fact that the "bubbles" on the Blackjack games started displaying with with a black, square background behind the gold circle that contains the point count as cards get dealt. In his words, he didn’t want me to get lambasted by OCD reviews. Little did Josh know how OCD I happen to be – he knows now! Thanks for letting me know, Josh. I’ve rectified that issue in this release and, unlike Jim’s issue, I was able to definitively test that fix.
Lastly, Karen also reached out to me about a couple of edge cases in Pai Gow where the House Way was not properly optimizing the Low Hand when Straights & Flushes were played in the High Hand. Thanks so much for the text and the screenshots, Karen! They were extremely helpful in identifying the problems and making some minor adjustments.
If it’s not been made clear from previous release notes, I sincerely appreciate the support, feedback, & collaboration with the RBG Player Community. I’m just one guy! A decently skilled developer who created an app so he could play Mississippi Stud on an iPhone. Little did I know that my app would grow to 60+ casino games based on Player requests. I cannot do what I do by myself. I am indebted to all of you who take the time to report a bug or let me know when an image is skewed or request a new feature or a change to the app. Though I may not be able to make every change immediately, they all end up in my product backlog and will eventually be addressed.
While it would be cool to be as successful as one of the "big box software companies” that have teams of programmers, designers, testers, marketers, and customer support people, I bet those companies don’t have as much fun as I have when I get to respond to your texts and emails and interact with all of you – my virtual friends. Please keep your messages coming!

The amount of card games on here is very impressive! We are having a blast learning all of these that we havent came across!
Great casino games for the Pros or the amateurs. Highly recommend!
The number of games available is truly impressive, hands move along quickly, and the presentation is no frills. Plus the game tosses you bonus chips for loyalty and other achievements, so it’s very hard to go bust unless you bet recklessly. And if you ever feel like the cards are against you, just get up and play something else like you do in a real casino. Side note, how would a casino make any money offering lunar poker? We’ve piled up a fake fortune in that game.
This game is pretty good we would love to see better details on game like face up and face down matches on blackjack and free bet blackjack would be awesome. Already loving the variety of games would love more. We have not experienced much luck in winning. We will continue to play though thank you for the game and updates constantly.
This app is amazing. There are more than 50 casino games, any one of which would be well worth a $1.99 price. Yet we get them all for free. We are in awe of the developer. But we will most probably delete this app. Why? There are no sound affects. The dead silence ruins the experience for us. Its like watching The Wizard of Oz as a silent movie. Please, make sound effects your next project. Some suggestions: 1. Paddlewheel noise on opening, with a boat whistle 2. Paddlewheel noise when changing tables 3. Background chatter 4. Chip noise when betting 5. Card sounds when dealing With sound effects, Id pay $10 for this app without a moments hesitation.
This is easily the best casino app on the appstore. Danny has put together a great list of popular games with an easy interface and a lot of great options that help to learn the various games and hone your strategies. This is the only casino app you need!
Love all the game options. Nice layout and easy to navigate Developer is very involved and always wanting feedback for improvement. Quick on fixing any issues reported. We must say we havent had any. Great all around gambling app. Love it.
This pertains to 4-card poker. Literally 60% of the the time the dealer gets a flush, straight, 3 of a kind, or 2 pair. This statistically is not close to realistic. Maybe review the algorithm used for this game? Also would be nice if there were sound effects or background noise/music.
Great app overall. We would love to see the wining ability go up. We’ve taken advantage of their great happy hour chip special. However, we would love to see more winnings and bonuses. The developer should increase the wining ability on all table games. Top games are 3 card poker, video poker, ultimate hold em, blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.
We are loving the opportunity to practice our blackjack skills without wasting so much money at the casino. We wish it was more interactive on the sound end. Did we miss a setting to turn on/off sound effects? We would love to hear some chips staking up if we hit a big win. We would enjoy hearing the cards flip out of the shoe. The design and interface are fantastic. Having studied a bit about app design for our ongoing MFA, we applaud all the work you have done. Now we can literally add the bells and whistles! Uncool. We played this one most because it left us alone to just play. Now after this most recent update we get pop ups from the developer to follow or like or whatever. Those bugged us but we could live with it. Now were doing ads. If we wanted intrusive ads and bothersome pop ups Id stick with the WSOP app. Probably where Im gonna end up now. Look, we get it, the developer deserves to get paid, its a pretty good app. But at least give us a choice. Buy the app, pay a small subscription, OR view ads. Dont just jam them into our life. Disappointing.
You need to make an option for a double up on the play bet in this game.
We know theyre working on some of the glitches at least theyre being fair about it.

We have recently been getting into table games at casinos. Texas holdem is a table game that we’ve been wanting to try out but not with real money. We couldnt find an app that would teach us or had the game in general until we found this app. It lets us bet normal (realistic) amounts of money and we also dont have to spend a dime of real money to get our chips because the game taught us how to play the games so well haha! (and gives us free chips every few hours and hands) . We really enjoy this app and have learned how to play games we never knew existed. Also love that the ads are few and far between , and we can close out of them quickly!

Not sure if Im missing it or not but we cant seem to find the game craps? Is it listed under something different? Other then that there are plenty of games to play.
It is extremely annoying having to tap the bet button for each increment of $5. So if you want to be $200 for example, you have to tap it 40 times. They should replace this with the ability to drag different chip values into the betting area. Theres also a stupendous amount of pushes on all the blackjack games.
Criss Cross is a joke how nothing ever hits. We wont buy chips to give money to this guy.
This is a fun app if you enjoy casino gambling. So many games to choose from, and very similar to the actual casino. There are even bonus bets. This is a good way to learn new games without having actual money on the line. Five stars for sure!

Learn how to play all the top table games in the casino. Great for honing strategy for experienced players, and learning any game for the inexperienced. Minimal ads, and we even buy chips occasionally (although not necessary with the loyalty reward chips) to support the game/developer.
Absolutely the best POKER app on line- Love it, has all the games we love to play! Would LOVE to see the Bad Beat added to ULTIMATE TEXAS HOLD-EM- that is the only missing part! Keep up the great job! We have not played for a while, but we are a bit confused on the face up pai goi. We are not understanding when we win a hand, we are only receiving part of our ante . For instance this last game our ante was 25 and we won both hands but only received 15? Can you explain why? In the casino we play at- it pays even money. Thank you.
We have been using this app for over a year. There is a great selection of games with realistic outcomes. Danny is responsive to any questions and will fix any bugs that cone ip quickly. Love this app to pass time.
This game does a lot of stuff, and it does it all very well. It is more intuitive and smoother than the other craps games we’ve played. The pace is just right to clearly show your payouts or losses without slowing everything down. There are very few ads, they are short, and they don’t require you to interact. If that’s not enough, there’s also multiple versions of blackjack, and they are all great. Plus tons of other games, many of which we’ve seen at casinos and wondered about, so it’s fun to learn them in this setting with no risk. The developer is very responsive and has really gone out of his way to add new games and fix all bugs. We can’t recommend this enough!

We were playing this game for five minutes and losing 4/5 hands. The final straw was when we saw 6 jacks total in back to back hands.
If you know your betting, the Ultimate Texas Hold Em is really solid. Thanks to the bonuses we won $75k on a Royal Flush!

Stupid program, you buy chips, you still have all these awful ads, what a ripoff, this is lousiest set of games with all the ads and tracking and expensive chips. Lousy, we say, get anything else but this, anything.
Since we updated the app. Every time we are dealt a pair the system errors out. Your message to repose problems appear.
Good way to learn how to play. Lots of games to choose from. Developer seems invested in this app and is always making improvements. Minimal ads, no nonsense. Nice jobs.
We really enjoy this app. We use it to learn and just to kill time. We think the game explanations are pretty good. They are somewhat incomplete, unless you are already familiar with the game. Not ideal for an absolute newbie. There are ads, but they are not too frequent. We agree that ads should be limited to 15 seconds max, and we havent experienced any that are longer so far. We LOVE how attentive the developer is to questions and concerns. Danny interacts on a personal level. We think that is an outstanding aspect that really makes him unique. There is such a variety of games that we dont get bored. There are also many achievements to keep us encouraged to play.
We just got a 4 card strait flush; we were betting 100 chips, it says in the game stats that it pays 60 to 1, which should of been 6000 chips, it only paid 3000 chips.
We downloaded this app specifically based on an internet search and the ratings were great! The games have realistic interfaces and game play experience which is awesome. The developer also takes and responds to feedback promptly which makes the experience feel more real!
