Community Insight:
Amazing game overall and has a nice twist to the average rouge like game.
The game is good and original, but there's no reason to replay it once you beat a run after an hour or two.
Could use some more mechanics to incentivize not full-searching the room (given that visibility is a mechanic), like hunger or something.
A great game to grind away on in line or in between classes.
Played for a bit and already hooked.
If you are looking for an enjoyable game that does not contain microteansactions or constantly shove ads at you, then RogueJack is for you. It is also hard to find games that are simplistic buts still requires some critical thinking. RogueJack succeeds there as well. After a couple hours of play we knew that this game was going to hold our interest for awhile. Well worth the $1.99. Thank you Devs.
Fun little game. Clever idea. If you like blackjack and rogues youll like it. Good simple time waster.
Its simple but sweet. Even if you get a broken class like the prophet its most likely you wont keep it for long as you change classes every level up. Each dungeon is randomly generated so theres almost infinite replayability. Theres unique weapons all with their own abilities and a wide variety of enemies. Not trying to glaze but this game is great.
Why cant there be a shop to like make ourselves stronger.
But the game loop is too short, regularly feeling like really? Im back at the beginning again? At higher levels the player RNG is abysmal while enemies will usually get between 19-21. Every time an enemy successfully attacks you lose a whole life (out of 3-5 lives), except when you get further up you start losing multiple lives at a time. Some enemies win even if you tie, even if you tie at 21! And with literally only 6 weapon variants (leveling just increases the values incrementally), the very short game loop becomes mostly boring with a dash of frustrating by the 8th floor. Also, sometimes an enemy will freeze you in place for several turns allowing enemy after enemy to attack you in the same spot, perishing in the same spot, theoretically dropping loot in the same spot but instead of accumulating or dropping on another spot on the grid, additional loot dropped on a spot already containing loot is just gone. Did we mention some enemies light you on fire that continues outside of combat? Somehow Ive literally never noticed that until it kills us just walking around. Hooray! TLDR some game mechanics are frustrating, and theres not enough variety to keep you coming back as often as the game forces you to.
We would love to play this, but the cards are tiny, way too small to easily read.
Amazing game. Fun, kinda fast. Only downside is its gambling but its a good way to gamble without consequences.
After playing a few rounds you pick up a knack for the rules and gameplay, and if that doesnt win you over the soundtrack will.
Easy concept to understand and use and implemented pretty well. The only thing we can think of adding is a setting to make the combat dialogue a little quicker so it doesnt have to catch up if youre going at too fast a pace.
This game is quite fun. A light rogue-esque dungeon crawl with a neat take on blackjack. It could definitely use an update and some improvements, but it's definitely worth your while.
Randomly found this game and cant stop playing.
Wanted to play Balatro but its not on iOS so we got this one. Its fun! Scratching the itch, as they say.
Very clever and addictive game. Easy to learn too. They let you just play the game for a while before even hinting at ad revenue. Then they politely remind you that you could throw em $2, like if you wanted too, or keep playing. Classy. Other programmers should take note. Stay classy San Diego.
As we says. It is THE best way to play blackjack in a rouge-like style! Its who (thus, what. It says on the tin.) we enjoys it – so we say as much.
Super fun, but it gets kinda boring after some time.
We really don't get too into mobile or casual games because we're usually playing something on our PC. We're very glad to have found this game in the app store because it's fun, it's entertaining, and while the inspiration for this game is very clear, it's still a very original and a lot of fun. We've been playing for a while now and so far we haven't run into any game-breaking glitches or bugs, the art style is simple but does its job very well, and overall we've enjoyed the game very much. Like we said, we don't usually play many casual games because of the ads, pay-to-win tactics, and other annoying things that get crammed into these games. This has absolutely none of that, so we're sure this will be one of the very few phone games we'll always keep around.
Overall great dimple game. Negatives: If you arent familiar with blackjack. The game is not that intuitive.takes a second. Also, class changes are forced on you.
Not a fake review, a pretty good time killer and super simple. Just picked it up. Its overall a good time.
Very fun game, very possible to play without ads. We ended up buying the game cause its totally worth it and its the perfect game for waiting in line, poop breaks, etc. Would buy again in a different universe.
Really awesome concept, ads were perfect, completely optional. As you level up, its really cool to change your play style, and have access to different bonuses. Grade A game, highly recommended.
We have a problem with gambling all our money away in GTA V online because blackjack is so much fun to us. This game is much more fast paced than regular blackjack and it introduces fun visuals and mechanics. Now we can finally have money in GTA.
Great pick up and play game. Now we love playing black jack again. We bought the app for 1.99 totally worth it. Developer please keep up the great work. A gem among a sea of crap on the AppStore.
One of our favorite games on the App Store. Super addictive. We have pretty much nothing bad to say about it.
One of the best rogue like games we have played. Great job guys.
Really intriguing and good at keeping our adhd mind occupied.

There are a lot of different monsters to play against and they all have different playing styles. If you die in this game you can teleport to the room where you died and recollect your stuff. The music and art are really good. No ads during gameplay.
We remember Nethack and Rogue from back in the day. This is very much like those.
Well worth the coin if you like blackjack and rogue style games. It could use more variety of drops, but the dev seems active so Im sure well see this happen.
We really like this game! The mechanics are easy to get and fun to play. The ads are optional and the ads free upgrade is worth supporting the developer. Great job.
We love how quick battles are and how it can be played with one hand easily. Easy to pick up and grasp, hard to put down.
Its simple and fun. Im a fan of Blackjack and dungeon crawler games so it was a perfect concept. (Also the controller option is interesting but welcome).
Very fun, we consistently play it.
Great game but here are some suggestions. Ive sunk so many hours into this game we just had to buy the full version. Here are some things we have noticed. 1. We absolutely cannot stand the pop ups when you walk over weapons/shields. When walking over a weapon/shield a pop up appears which shakes several times before a player can either press yes or no. This hurts our brain and takes too long. We recommend making these pop ups smoother rather than shake violently. 2. There should be a button that you press to interact with the weapon/shield once you walk over it. We hate having to repeatedly press no when we walk over a weapon/shield piece. 3. When you are frozen while standing on a weapon/shield the dreaded pop ups appear for every single turn until you are unfrozen. This means that we have to click through 5 pop ups for a weapon/armor piece before we can be unfrozen. Definitely a humiliating experience. 4. There should be a setting for adjusting walking speeds. Ive noticed that when a floor level is completely cleared we can move faster than usual. This is nice! It speeds up the game but we wish we could do this when monsters are present too. 5. When we have a character buff of 90% face up cards + a weapon with 20% face up cards we will still get cards facing down. Is there a cap to the chance cards will be dealt facing up? If this is a feature of the game ignore this last suggestion. You guys made a great game that we love playing in our spare time. Keep up the hard work and stay safe.
Fun, like the good ol days with little to no ads. We think many should buy just to support the devs making a great game.
We really enjoy playing this game. We like the mechanics and we like the low level of ads of the free version, basically all voluntary watching. This is the perfect time killer, great little interlude filler. We bought the app despite having run through the levels forwards and backwards several times. We would have bought it even if we were no longer going to play. It is well worth supporting developers who dont try to milk the user through micro transactions. And it is just a solid, fun game.
Pretty good game. Its definitely making us worse at real blackjack more than we already am.
Its a cute, fun little game. A great way to amuse yourself while waiting in line or tolerating the company of boring, tedious people that you cannot escape. If youre reading this then youll probably like it too, so pony up and pay for the add-free version. This stuff doesnt make itself and we presume it takes time and effort. If youre broke, fine. If youre not then please pay people who make games.
We like blackjack, and we like Rogue-likes. This is a fantastic combination of the two. Very well done.
Pleasantly surprised. We love the battle system involving playing Black Jack which is our favorite game to play when we hit up Atlantic City. If you want a rougelike game with a unique twist. Buy this game now.
Such a simple concept executed wonderfully! Easy to pass the time with, with very little effort on the players part in order to enjoy the game. We only played five minutes of it before we recommended it to friends who we knew would be interested.
Following up to find that indeed the newest patch fixed the ending bug. This game is a blast and we cant wait to see what class is next. Two other little things we noticed that you may want to address. 1. Two items seem to have their texts reversed. The smart sword claims to be a shield that helps librarians and the knowledgeable shield (we think that is it) claims to be a sword that doubles xp. 2. We could have sworn the Lick King is supposed to win on a draw, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Hope it helps you along. Keep up the great work.
Good afternoon all, The game overall is pretty good. We enjoy the dungeon exploration and just having fun. However, we believe they need to work on the RNG (Random Number Generator) of the cards. If you have played blackjack in real life you know the cards are VERY random. In this game, all enemies get either a 20 or 21 except for a FEW occasions. We have also noticed that on SEVERAL battles that we will start with a total number of points of either 12, 13, or 14 and the three cards (Im a spaceman) that we can choose from are all 10 points are higher. This happens more than it does not. If this game would FIX the RNG then is would be well worth the money spent.
We love the concept, simplicity, and aesthetic! Our one complaint is that we sometimes have trouble telling which deal is ours which can lead to mistakes. Super frustrating! Otherwise fantastic game :).
