We really like this game, and that's rare since we dont really like puzzle games, but this one's very well done. We'd even want to see it as a movie.
Finished the current games as of writing this, 1-3. We love the art and story, but the puzzles and hints could use some work to make them more logic based and intuitive. They're also quite short which is disappointing because we really want to keep exploring the world and characters. Also, the chemistry puzzle in 2 can soft lock you, forcing you to watch an ad to skip it. Our issue is not the ad, but the lack of a reset button to allow you the satisfaction of solving it without help if you prefer. Regardless, we recommend all three and cant wait to play further Strange Case games! Thank you dev(s) for creating another fun game in our fav genre.
We downloaded this game as a last chance we were just tired of childish ez escape rooms that had no real fear or mystery in it. We finished the game in less than 24hrs and Im already going for the second part The Asylum. Im so excited to see whats gonna happen. Theres a dark deep mystery in this game we promise you wont get bored or else. Plus there a few scenes that may make you lovk your phone and sleep lol. Just download the game the creators deserve donation so we say do it as a thanks to the creators for creating such a thriling and thought-provoking game! <3.
This game reminds us of the Rusty Lake series in the best ways <3 some of the puzzles are a little too hard for the average player but the vast majority are intricate but not too difficult (:.
Very good game, if you want a game to spend hours and if you like puzzles this is for you, we love the game, the only thing we would like to see added is a better guide or help on how to solve the puzzles since Chapter 3 is quite difficult but very good in itself.
We play a lot of puzzle games, and the Rusty Lake ones are some of the best we've seen. Challenging but not impossible, and the dark themes make them even more interesting. Strange Case is another example of their great designs. Highly recommended.
Im not going to lie, but this is one of the best escape rooms we have ever played. We havent wrote a review about other games, but this one we definitely had too. The quality is perfect and just little ads interrupt the game but only like 2 or 3 which is pretty good. Please make more of these games.
Really fun puzzle game and challenging. Really liked it.
We really loved it! It took us longer than it should have, because we are someone who misses things very easily. When the first ad break popped up after finishing one of the first puzzles, we panicked a bit because at first glance(for us), it was asking to pay to get the rest of the story. We did love the options though, either watch an ad, or pay $1-2, and we cant remember the prices for the other two options. Overall, was very fun, though the logic was a bit iffy in places.
The storyline is awful. The design is alright. The hints are semi-crappy. No detail on how to move some things so you cant figure out a puzzle if you dont know how to move the pieces. Somethings randomly go together. Others are a little easier to figure out. Yes the story line is weird. We read a review about demons. So what bring the demons on ahaha. Its a game. Ill try the second game we guess Ive very bored.
Took us back to when escape games were fun! It was challenging and surprising. Hope you guys make more.
We just got done playing forgotten hill and rusty lake and Im always on the lookout for those kinda games but theyre weirdly hard to find, the good ones anyway. But finally found one haha.
The cockroach portion had insanely bad controls, and it was kinda frustrating. It didnt follow the buttons we were pressing, and the directions would often switch between buttons for some reason.
And you gotta watch ads to play next chapters.
We were very excited that we had found another escape game, since we finished all of the other ones multiple times. This one was pretty good, and we liked the setup of hints and optional ads. It mentioned demons so we (also being a Christian) was a little wary but wanted to play it anyway. We were getting a little uncomfortable in chapter 2, but by the end of chapter 3 we powered off our phone completely. This is witchcraft and demonic possession!! This is a serious thing, and not a game!! The benefits of this is that we learned to keep our eyes open and listen to our instincts. We hope this is helpful, and wish nothing but good on everyone.
The story is truly exciting. We like it very much.

Probably the most entertaining game we have ever played, we love ever aspect of this game including a link to the full walk through when we get stuck. We also really enjoy the mysteries in each chapter and how challenging the puzzles are. We never want this game to end.
This game is really challenging yet fun to find out how to do the puzzles. We enjoy this game a lot and it doesnt have ads so its less infuriating. We definitely recommend it does have spooky themes so we would recommend this game to older or more mature people.

This is an awesome game and we cant wait to play the sequel. Our only complaint is that some of the font and color choices make things hard to read but even with that this is a 5 star game for anyone who loves creepy puzzles.

All of the rusty lake games are absolutely amazing.
Cube escape has been our favorite game series, and this one is a relative, and after playing it, theres nothing but kudos to this game. Not because Im playing favorites, but the graphics, effect, plots are all there. We also loved how most of the cube escape series games are FREE! Which is definitely worth playing and a plus, especially for all the escape room lovers out there like us.
Not too difficult. All of the puzzles make perfect sense. The complainers on here could never have completed the Cube Escape games without a lot if help.

This is the best escape room/puzzle game Ive ever played. It takes a while, but it is actually possible to beat this game without walkthroughs. In our opinion, its just hard enough. Cant wait for more.
The thing we really love about this game is that they dont use cheap tricks to hide the clues or puzzles, like everything is very visible but still retains that challenge that really makes a puzzle worth it. We absolutely love the variety of puzzle types and we cant wait to see what the dev comes out with next because this really is one of our favorite escape games.
Im three weeks in and just getting to chapter 3 of the story line. We play passively maybe 3 times per week but spend 30 minutes to an hour playing each time. We have been stumped to the point of having to put it away multiple times!! This is such a fun escape room game, Ive been playing escape rooms online for years and we are so glad we downloaded this one.
It was so fun yes some on the puzzles dont exactly give you a clue but it was a fun challenge.

This game is amazing, but we needed the walkthrough cause our brain doesnt function. Went we went to do the puzzle of the man it wasnt anything like the walkthrough, we reset our progress multiple times and it wasnt working, we got frustrated and deleted it again, Ill probably redownload it and try it again.
Great game up until the third chapter it kinda just starts to crash it might just be our old iPad but other than that the game was great loved it really got the mind working and kept us occupied for a good while.
Its kinda hard in a good way we love this the only this is ever now and again there are pop ups asking for money or watch an add but its understandable this is really good and we dont mind the popups. 9/10 recommended thanks for making this :).
There are some cool and unique puzzles but some of them we dont its realistic that someone would be able to solve without the walkthrough. We do lots of these puzzles.
Thank you for the new chapter. We love this game. However, in chapter 3, when we finish the toad picture in the hot air balloon, it doesnt give us a number. We checked the walkthrough and we did it right, but its not completing. Thank you.
We really enjoy rusty lake type of games, the only problem with the game is interaction points are too small for a mobile appthats it.
This was a game that was all but great. The graphics, music, puzzles, style, depth, everything was wonderful! We paid for it and would again. There were two things that were shortcomings. The first is minor. For the few puzzles we couldnt get, the walkthrough usually pointed out where the clues were that we missed. With a couple of puzzles, it wasnt clear how we would know the solution. Not a big deal. The big problem is how unsatisfactory the ending is!! (Trying to do this without spoilers) Read the other reviewers hints. But when you get there and make a mistake you have to go all the way back to the beginning to try again! Arrgh! We watched the ending of the walkthrough and it was better but still not satisfying. Maybe there is a third way but Im not going through the whole game just to get there, especially if we dont know it will work. But maybe that bad ending is the point? If so, then we might have given it 3 instead of 4 stars. Thats just mean.
The game story is fun and exciting but the puzzles are just too hard not that we dont like challenging puzzles but they got frustrating like the brain in machine or the chapter 3. The fact that they game doesnt have hints and only walkthrough in Youtube, made it even worse.
As someone plays a lot of escape games, we found chapter 3 very difficult to understand what is next! We needed the walkthrough to solve it because some are just unreasonable.
We went through to Chapter 3, during it we put together puzzles after the puzzle should have revealed a clue 2/3 puzzles did not. Those missing clues prevented us from moving forward. Some of the items seemed a very odd match to reveal the next clue. A few we got by sheer chance. A little too simple in some spaces and a little too complex/indecipherable. We liked the option to either watch an ad or give a donation to support the game. That felt win-win.
A good enough game but the fact that you have seconds to react at the end or die and have to start from the beginning? Sheesh. That kills it for us.
