"The microwave Roman Numeral code comes from the arrows, meaning counter clockwise or reverse. When you read the Roman numerals backward, the IX becomes XI. So instead of 2 3 9 1, in reverse order it is 1 11 3 2. ( II III IX I BECOMES I XI III II)"
