We truly love this game. Its the card version of Rummikub, which is awesome, however, we have noticed lately that one player will hoard their cards instead of opening. Then, in one hand they will play almost all their cards making it easy for the next player, who at this point only has one or two cards left in their hand, to go out. Its just not fair game play, even if the player who is hoarding is the one on your right making it easy for you to go out. We prefer even play. If we win fairly or lose fairly, we just want to play a good game. With the exception of this, we love this game as sometimes it takes real brainwork to go out. Please fix this problem.
It used to have glitches but this morning cant even play because it crashed more than 5 times. What kind of update is this? Sad UPDATE: we emailed the developer and got a response in less than 3 hours. He assured us that it will be fixed. Very nice! It is fixed and we so appreciate this guys kindness and professionalism we had to write to him and thank him. This game has helped us with our anxiety and insomnia, we love numbers! Thank you Daniel so much.

Lately the game freezes up while dealing cards or just locks up completely. IOS 12.4.3 for iPad.
It appears youve made an update and we cant play anymore because it keeps closing on us. Please delete your last update and return the game to what it was before this last update. Why fix what wasnt broken because now its definitely broken!!
Used to be our favorite game to play, but yesterday we see a new version has changed the old. You play one or two rounds and it closes down. So disappointed. We have deleted it now.

We love this game but it just got an update and we were hoping that it would be easier to get the first card on the left side but now its impossible to move it. Please fix it.

Apparently the app updated at some point this afternoon. Now the options to pick background & card colors is completely gone. Also Im trying to play a game & it keeps closing out in us after a few turns. What ever update you did completely messed up the game. We have been playing this app for years without problem and have had it on several other phones & a couple tablets. So maybe you can undo whatever you did in this last update please. Thx or Ill have to find a new rummy app.
This was our favorite game until 2 days ago. Apparently it was updated and now we can play it for about 2 minutes before it cuts out to our iPad screen. VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED.
We used to play this game A LOT, but with the new update it quits out after a few turns. Every time.
Newest update in June won’t download. Game still works but moves are slow. Hope there’s a fix soon.
If you are playing a public game (not against robots) using Revert causes everything on the board to erase. Ipad Version 3.7.7 freezes and cannot play.
We Have been playing this game for years and we really enjoy it but we would like to see a stats option so that we could see how many times we’ve won or percent of wins, etc. Thank you.
Normally we would rate this game a 5, but you cant play it on the new iPhone 12. Only one hand of the cards shows on the screen. The other hand is too low to see it. Wish the format would be updated to use on the newer phone.
Use to love this came. But with the latest update 3.7.1. It does not work well with an iPhone 6. Cards are spread out. Our hand is out of its box and interferes with the other buttons. We are looking at deleting this app if it can not be fixed. Use to be a 5 star.
We have been playing this game for quite a while and love it, but after updating yesterday its virtually unusable. The cards have shifted down so they partially cover the controls. The biggest problem is the draw pile completely covers the button to complete your turn. Before today we would have given 5 stars; today Im hard pressed to give 3.
Used to play this game multiple times a day, but it recently developed a bug. The users hand of cards will now appear out of their usual spot and end up on the playing board. When you go to move the cards to play them, it sometimes just stretches out the users hand of cards and doesnt move the selected card to the desired location. Please fix these bugs!!
Love this version! We wish you could make the computer settings more challenging but this is the best rummy app in our opinion.
We love this game when it works but we often have trouble connecting to other players. And sometimes games will freeze for no reason. We can wait for minutes to play against someone and no one connects. We would love for this to get resolved because when the app works correctly we love playing.
The game keeps freezing and won’t allow us to play our cards.
We have loved this app for years and all of a sudden when the game is won there is no notification of who won, not how many points left… After we hit next for them to lose, the app closes! We hate it now! Please fix it!!!!
Bug Game quits right before it end. Screen goes blank and need to start again but it doesn’t resume where it left iff.
Love the game but with online play get a lot of disconnects & a few instances where board freezes. One time board allowed play with only 2 cards in set then drew 2 cards on one turn. Very aggravating. All of a sudden can’t get matches. Really like the game. What’s up??
We love rummy and we must say this is the best app for it that we’ve found. And we’ve tried many. The app is solid and more user friendly than most. We do personally prefer the deck of cards versus tiles. The game does freeze at times but what app doesn’t. Our biggest annoyance with this app is the constantly moving adds. They are VERY distracting. It would be nice if you offered an ad free paid version.
We love playing this game online. All the sudden we can’t connect. Boo.
Contacted game maker and constantly am told it must be our connection. It is always disconnecting when we play online no matter who we play. Same thing happens to them yet we can play words with friends and other online games all the time with no disconnect ever. Wish he would fix this disconnection issue as the game is a great game to play. Very frustrated.
Have tried repeatedly to play this game and it does not work. Very buggy.
It was confusing on who was 1st, couldn’t arrange cards… Just over all confusing to play.
Loads of fun… Would like to see a statistics option (number of wins, losses etc).
Lost one star because The cards are too small. No obtrusive ads. At times says board not right when it is. Move cards around or rearrange and it will accept it. IPhone 6 iOS 9.
This game is addictive to us but sometimes when we click on the card pile it boots us out of the game and we can’t play. Is there an update that we missed?
Game won’t accept any card combination. Can’t remove the cards once they’re on the board when a mistake is made.
Game is unplayable. All it says is "BOARD IS NOT VALID", when the board clearly is valid. It does NOT specify what is invalid about the move. The instructions, although very lengthy, provide NO clarification in this area. Very frustrating. Don’t waste your time. Deleting this worthless app.
Was a pretty cool game with a simple interface but online play does not work anymore.
Perfect! This is just like how we play with a deck of cards. But it’s an app so we can play anywhere. Amazing. Simple yet perfect.
Has some bugs. Randomly disconnects and lags when moving cards.
All we can do is get. BOARD NOT VALID ERRORS. Need better instructions and Game needs to be smarter know where to put stuff on the board.
Great game! Love moving the crd round on the board to accommodate the one in our hand. Like the ability to sort our hand multiple ways. Lots of fun.
We love this game and it works very well! In response to the other reviews when it tells you the board is invalid… It is invalid. You have made an error and if you know how to play rummy you will know what you have done wrong. So we guess this game is only fun for those of us that know how to play the game.
We have a suggestion, when the computer looses, it(the computer)should reveal by flipping the cards that are left in its hand. We think the computer cheats.
The game overall is very good but we sort of noticed a large bug that makes it weird to play, in a normal deck of card there are 4 sixes however in this game there is probably a random card system, but the main pool of cards is supposedly infinite while an actual deck of cards drawing a six of spades 2 times is impossible, but this is only slightly different from normal rummy.
This Gin Rummy app is very, very basic and we "think" that this may be the reason that we like it so much more than some of the "3-D" (as well as the "paid") apps. . [the so-called 3-D Gin Rummy game apps are pretty but we’ve found a large number of screen-freeze errors that force you to restart both your device as well as that particular game app the game — (I play using our iPod Touch, v. 5). It should be noted that some of you may utterly hate this Gin Rummy app based upon this apps utter lack of game settings. If we could, I’d add two things to this Gin Rummy app. We would do the following MAJOR game updates First, I’d add a SAVE function where we could save the top scores to the Apple Game Center. (Regardless if I’d been playing ON -or- OFF-LINE) Second, I’d want a settings function where we could: 1. Create and save usernames. 2. Change the level of difficulty. 3. Have an option to play against any of the following players via…: ( i.) us v. Computer where the "computer" is either our iPhone, iPod or an iPad(s). (ii.) us v. Other players in the room. [While it’d be nice to set this option up wirelessly using a Bluetooth- connection setting… I’d also be happy with an option used by many games where we just pass our game device from one player to another]. We’d just have to use a settings function where we could setup both the individual Player-NAME(s) as well as the NUMBER of players who’d like to play against ME in the next set of matches. Or, finally I’d like to be able to play against (iii.) Other "ONLINE" gin rummy players using the Apple Game Center setting/setup routine. Hence, if you like Gin Rummy you may want to check-it out. Since the game makers have never updated this very basic Gin Rummy app we shall simply suggest that you might want to forget the "flash, bells & whistles" that we’ve wished for and simply play this apps current and longtime version of Rummy where you play the game against your current device! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ CONCLUSION we’ve played this game for MANY, MANY hours where we always end up telling myself that our current game would be the last one from that days’ session. Unfortunately, we ALWAYS find myself where we’ve gotten to the end of that particular game and restarting and we begin anew simply because we enjoy just playing this game, just as it’d been created. We might "wish" for those bells & whistles mentioned above but we’ve found that we do not "need" those extras. Have fun!
We were really enjoying this game. After a few minutes of playing, it would force close. We would open it back up, make a play, and it force closes again.
This app is very simple and easy to use if we’re wanting to play rummy. The only issue, which is quite a major one is that when playing the initial hand, the game often states that we do not have a hand totaling 30 when we often have even more than that. Besides this, a small suggestion is to provide different difficulty levels. The only level of difficulty provided so far is easy to beat; after one game we were able to beat the other players every time.
Despite the great instructions whenever you actually go into play this game instead of it telling you why something is invalid it just says board is invalid the problem is from reviewing the instructions it should be valid unless something has been left out of the long, detailed instructions that could easily be considered a novel! We must agree with the previous and only other reviewer that it’s time-consuming and until some changes are made, don’t bother.
It is okay for a while but is frustrating when it thinks your move is not valid and yet it is. Makes you wonder what it is thinking. Ugh.
