Odd choice for Paramount to not renew the contract when this game was seemingly made to celebrate a so many year anniversary for Forrest Gump. We are glad the developers were able to scrub any references so they could keep the app up for everyone. We don't understand why Jenny is now called Claire; Forest we can understand (besides Forest Whitaker,) by Jen or Jenny is a pretty common name. We'll laugh if Paramount trademarked the character name Jenny.
We play a lot of running style games. What run forest run does best is atmospheric world and unique power ups along the way. The ads are present, but are not to annoying to be frustrating to the point of quitting. As it stands now we have encountered our first major bug in that leveling up our multiplier from x14 to x15 will not progress and shows that we have 100 percent completion too rank up. This is a fantastic runner game and easily have recommended too friends and would still recommend even now to at least give it a solid try.
Our problem is that we havent even unlocked the football area yet but one of our challenges requires us to roll under 10 red football dummies so Im soft locked from progressing through the game.
Devs why is Forrest Gump black now in the game??? Change him back the way he was a White Man.
This game used to be called Run Forrest Run.
Ive been playing this game for years and randomly went to play and and saw ever reference of Forest Gump had been removed? Why would you ruin the game this way? Is it a licensing issue now.
Dynamic Island is blocking the tip of the screen can u bring the options down out of the way so its able to be pressed the Dynamic Island covers them they need to be moved down a bit plz thanx.
When youre trying to go to your Gmails and everything and see how much money and everything you have you cant see it because its blocked by the dynamic Island would you be able to update the app to fix this please thank you.
It does not make sense because when you run there are not a lot of donuts to run into and we are not watching 100 ads just to get one character who will just play as the same way as the other characters. Also add more zones and characters because the game is kinda fading away so please do this for the fans of forest Gump.
We love this game its the best game Ive ever played in our life but we have to say that theres a poblem with the game.
We love the game, but one weird glitch. We dunno if anyone else has this glitch: Every time we load up the game, it instantly makes our character Bubba, even though we hadnt unlocked him yet. And it says Forrest cost this much coins: 300060007999 we guess Ill have to play as Bubba from now on.
The game is full of glitches and any coins,prizes ,points,will not be replaced.Dont expect help from the help center as they will not help.

This is a cute game for all lovers of Forrest Gump. Why play Subway Surfers when you can play with your favorite character Forrest. So many themes to unlock!!!! Best game on the App Store.

We have seen the movie and it was great. It's really great to see some dedication to it. Above all that, great game, it was nicely animated and the advertisement was really promising.

The game is fun to play. Ive had a couple problems. The first one is when we level up we have to completely exit out of game and go back in to level up. The second problem is Ive finished multiplier 7 missions and it wont level up to multiplier 8 level or missions.
For some reason Forrest will not be in the main menu and it wont let us play but it will let us go to zone select, the store, the settings, and more, but when he shows up it will let us the game. So can you please update that glitch we would be happy and play the game more.Thank You.

We unlocked some of the costumes with not paying and then some times in cant play.
Its super weird that this is a Forrest Gump game, considering the subject matter of the movie, and Im still not 100% sure how we feel about that. But the game itself was really fun!….When it worked. Now it loads up the game and has an empty bench with text saying to tap to play, and doesnt do anything from there. Tried restarting the phone, clearing cache and everything else we could think of, but still no Forrest and an empty bench. Its a shame because it was fun enough to have us not thinking about our confusion on how to feel about the subject matter (a flying mentally handicapped person who is running on highways facing cars going the opposite direction and can survive running into cars if he has a helmet on). So we really dont know how to feel about this game, even when its working really now that we put thought into it we guess, cool game but fix it and maybe consider changing it to not a Forrest Gump game?? Just sayin, you might be playing with fire here.
We got this game today it is fun but Now Forest is gone we cant tap to play the character is not on the bench.
The game just stopped at level 18. Anyone else having this issue? Says 80% to level 20 no matter what we do or how far we go.
We played the game in airplane mode on a cruise and it was a lot of fun. With no data, you dont get pop up ads. We made it to 100% of the zones and completed the 18x multiplier, and now it seems to be quasi broken. Im not sure why youd ever want to pay for cupcakes to unlock some of the costumes and helmets.
We love playing this game but it's hard to play the game to its full potential without an explanation telling us WHAT ELSE we can do besides run, jump & slide. And we don't know if we want to spend money on power ups unless we know what they do.
We've had this game for several months and it's always been fun to play, but about 3 or 4 updates ago there's been a glitch with the daily challenge thing where there isn't an actual word, all the letters are just J, so then when you start running there's other random letters floating around like Cs but it won't let you collect them so we can't complete the daily challenge. We don't know if anyone else has this problem but we'd appreciate if it can be fixed in the next update.
Well the game was fun interesting in the beginning but when we got to level 5 to 7 unfortunately the player doesnt exist we tried upgrading everything still so we deleted it but we inspire to make the game more and so interesting and fantastic.

Why the hell do we have a rock thrower character and just bully and kid they couldve given us characters from the movie like Jenny or lieutenant Dan pre war or what about forrests mom that couldve been cool. Or what about Chinese ping pong player he goes against or little Forrest they couldve put any of those people in the game. Idk we feel like the game doesnt have that much stuff that resembles the movie. Im glad you guys put bubba in but why would we need an Independence Day forrest? Please people who made the game we know its kinda a waste because the game is kinda irrelevant. But we think if you made it on par with the movie maybe added a couple more zones this game could be a lot better.
Great game super fun but it wont stop freezing and not giving us our gifts we win or daily prizes.
The first time we played it,it was fine,perfectly a five star game but then it happened we COULDINT RUN! The character did not appear on the screen,we had to delete it and readownload it again for it to work.
Just installed the game and started playing it, but for some reason, and we dont know why because it happened in various conditions, it has a glitch in witch Forrest simply doesnt appear on the menu screen, and the game cant be started. Everything else still works, but actually playing the game wont. Simply waiting, or even restarting the phone wouldnt solve the problem. Its the fourth time im reinstalling ir order to play the game. If it continues to glitch ill simply stop. Dont recommend it.
It was fun at first but a couple updates later and it's super glitchy and that's unfortunate bc we really like this game.
It 'twas a fun game while it lasted. Until we discovered a clutch that made Forrest disappear from the home screen. He's been gone for 3 days now and we're worried. It pains us to say that we had to delete the game. We couldn't play it because the low IQ'ed fella had ran away. It wouldn't let us play. Most unfortunate because we really liked it. We hope you have more luck than us. Maybe he'll like you and stay. It's very fun tho.
The game freezes after every mission. Will not allow you to log in using Facebook. We have to keep restarting the game to complete missions.
We love this game so much but it hasnt had a update in four years it really needs a update bad cause Im on iOS 13.3 on a iPhone 7 128 fb matte black phone and it lets us play it at first but once we exit the game and come back it never lets us see Forest gump on it again and all it shows is a empty bench and it says tap to play but wont work.
Update this game! Fix the missions.
We used to have this game on our iPhone 5S and it worked great. We recently upgraded phones and re-downloaded the game, only to find out that every time we complete all 3 of the "missions" it freezes up every single time! There's been other times it froze but this one is every single time. It's getting annoying. The only way for us to do anything is to shut down the app and reopen. After this bug is gone we'll change our review to 5 stars because it is a good game.
It seems like a great game! But every time we try to load zones or outfits or to even pay for power ups the game freezes and doesn't load and it won't play, even when you restart the game. Please update.
It is fun to play but there are way too many glitches half the time you have to delete it and re-download because forest won't show up.
There is nothing to say, this game is one of the most GLITCHY games we have ever played on the App Store.
We open the app on our iPad and realize the game deleted everything we had. It is as if we just downloaded the game today when we downloaded it in June/July of 2014.

We're a big time fan of Forrest Gump, this game is very amusing.
It's very similar to the classic game, down to the collection of letters, bonuses, and jumping on top of vehicles and barriers, etc. But it also shares the high visual and control qualities of SS.
