What Makes Rune Gems – Deluxe Stand Out
Rune Gems is a unique style match 3 puzzle game. Pick up color tile creating 3 matches. It’s really that simple, but it’s a neat and unique approach to the match 3 genre that we think you’re going to like. it’s neither a Bejeweled nor a Diamond Dash clone, instead of having more in common with Mahjong/Shanghai than anything else.
How to play:
● you have on your screen a tray holding 7 tiles that are populated from a game board.
● You tap a tile to make it go into your tray. The goal is to match every three colored tiles as quickly as possible from the game board, lest you fill up your 7 tile tray without any matching 3.
● Once you fail to have a matching group after putting down 7 tiles, you’ve failed.
Rune Gems Features:
● The tiles are colorful and have a gemstone appearance to them. each tile board is different and varies from one to the next, giving the game a different flair for every level you play.
● Rune Gems is one of those games that’s perfect for picking up and playing for just a minute or two, or for a long time to waste the day away. Grab it and see how far you can get.
● Players have optional use of both “magic” and “time” runes to help them — the former automatically picks a good gem to take, while the latter allows for an “undo.”
A little trick: Since a grouping can NEVER be more than 3, is to simply match as many triplets as fast as possible for an escalating speed combo bonus…but be careful, if in your haste you end up tapping on 4 red pieces, that 4th piece will now sit on the tray clogging stuff up until you find it two more partners. So always be mindful of what you put on the tray and make sure you can match it off quickly or letting it clog the flow up a bit is worth it if it is blocking your access to many other tiles underneath.

We wonder if anyone has passed this level!!!! We got to this level with no problem. Im almost ready to delete this app., unless something is done to this level. Its been months for us.
We updated our review. Awesome game. And yes, all levels are beatable because Ive done it. So keep trying. Now we just wish the developer would add more levels! Im honestly not sure if theyve just given up on this game or what because its been a long time since any updates. But if youre thinking about getting this game do so. Youll love it even if some levels are very challenging.

Great game- so much fun and challenging.
It took a few years but we finally finished all levels with three stars! The last couple of stars each took months, but were finally conquered. Hint: play with sound off till you have gotten good at it, then put sound on to help you gauge if you are going fast enough. Thanks to developers for a great game.
The game itself is fun. So far, we have 2 issues. 1- there is no way to earn hints/help/restart. The only way is to buy them using real $. Im ok with watching a video to earn like 3 of each. Or find a way for us to earn more. 2-some levels are too hard to earn 3 stars in such a short time (without using the hint/help). Other easier levels, we took our time, & still got 3 stars! It seems the harder levels should give more time to earn 3 stars. 3- take some lessons from the tile masters game app. That one is very good we think.
We like this game a lot, but have been stuck on level 8-02 for many weeks now. We thought maybe it was just super hard, but then we started reading the reviews and a LOT of folks are stuck at this level and cannot go on. The developer states that this bug has been fixed but that is NOT true! We challenge the developer to show us getting through this level. Its just not possible. The way the gems pile up, there is no way through this level. If youre good with staying below level 7, then Id say go for it. If you want to go past that, or you expect good customer support, then look for another game, because this one isnt it. Very frustrating to have made it this far and gotten stuck behind a bad level design.
Im on 14-5 now for a month. You dont give the colors to match. No way no how. Ive had others try it and they said the same thing. .hello ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS GAME. Our achievements registered until 5th one, now none of them will work. It says we have not completed 30 levels but we are on level 18.11. Also it never comes up as having an update. We love the game but am unhappy with the support, we dont have a ebook, so how do we reach you.
Well after playing for a while, this game is just super frustrating. Not only can you not turn off the annoying music, but levels are just not possible to pass. Ive been playing the same level for two days and its just not possible to get thru, you never get the one tile you need to make a match. Along with the music, why does the guy have to say completed after each level? That is, if youre lucky enough to actually get through it. Also, no need for the ready, go at the start of each level. Like we said, day two of the same impossible level…and we could do without ready go. Omg how do you off the annoying music without muting the entire game.
It's a great game, but hard levels are still impossible stuck on 8-2 again. And still have to buy the extra as theres no way to earn anything for free. Forcing you buy more. ..update , since last update NO you have not fixed 8-2 still stuck on it for a month now. Stop lying.
Cant even begin to imagine how many hours Ive spent beating this game over and over. It always ends the same way – three stars every level except one, and on that one we cant get even one. Beat the level, yes. Earn stars? Nope… Wonderful game. Wish there were more like it.
This game is pretty fun. We usually play the lvl over and over until we get the 3 medals. No complaints.
Enjoy trying to reach 3-stars on each level – other times, just trying to complete the level is challenging.
It's challenging at times but so much fun. Our sons dad and we try to beat each other's scores.
Takes a while to get thru all the games. You have to have patience. Some took consistent playing of the same one we can admit weeks at a time. Usually play it on the bus or train going to work. Now going back thru them to get the three medallions. This is our go to game to past the time while waiting .. Dr office, bus to work, or when we can't sleep. It's a keeper.

Very addicting. Some levels are extremely difficult, it all matters how the gems fall. Regardless of time it takes to complete a level, you should still get 1 star.

Simple, yet at times challenging diversion.
We have to agree with the other reviewers. Fun but some levels are just not solvable without extreme luck. They need to alter their algorithm to stack the blocks so every sort is solvable. Then we will up our stars.
Fun game till level 4-13. After trying at least 40 times we have concluded its impossible to complete that level without a number of the go back buttons used. They want money for these or to post to FB/Twitter. NOPE not gonna do either. So deleted it.
Get to a certain level and game is impossible to beat. Hard levels are one thing, impossible is another. We are out! Not playing anymore. Do not waste your time.
So as usual the game was great until you reach level 7-9 and then well just forget it! Most games let you reach a certain level and then make it impossible to complete. It is a trend to make you buy in app purchases we guess. But we cant waste our time on a game that is not fun anymore. We have done the math and the scenario presented on this level everytime is NOT winnable. So now gonna hit the delete button.
Must buy power packs/upgrades to get past certain levels. Lame. Deleting.

It is literally not possible to reach level 8. In level 7-09, there is one stone in the halfway-point that blocks you from accessing all of the other stones. There will not be two stones available that match that middle stone. Don't waste your money.
Funnily enough, the game producers issued two updates in a row to fix a crash case for IOS 7 users but did not bother to fix Level 12-05 bug!!! Whenever level 12-05 is reached, whatever score is achieved, this level doesn't give any stars nor a time bonus. Fix it!!! Two thumbs down for lack of attention.
You need to have magic/rune to move forward In the game from 4/13.. To get it free you have to post to Fb or Twitter!! F-that, we're deleting it.
This app offers in-app purchases. Having just completed all levels, we can report it is possible to do so without purchasing anything. However, be prepared for repeating (restarting) some boards a large number of times (100+) to eventually clear it. We would like to see the game provide "free" rewards (magic runes or time runes) that are normally in-app purchases at some point during play. But then that would impact the author's business model which is to sell such these things. Great animation during play, although the sound effects and simulated unfurling of parchment before each and after each level of play is rather crude. It is also possible to select gems quicker than the game can follow, which may result in an error (it says "Failed").

We tried to purchase the hints or helpers to get pass level 4-13 but they did not appear. We sent an email using the contact form on their website. We have not heard back.
Like 3-D solitaire — only shiny! Lots of patterns. Sometimes you get a good hand & other times it's a re-re-re-do. Even the music is addictive.
We like the game but the new version crashes our iPad.

Addictive. Cant quit. The music is extremely well-matched, soothing, and even rich. The graphics are perfectthe colors are great for our attitude. You can play it slow or try to speed. We wish there was a fully paid version as the in-app magic and rime runes are pricey.

At times it's easy and other times it's challenging enough you have to think. Well worth playing. We recommend it to all.

Been playing this game for 2 years or so. It's still one of our favorites! It's a fast-paced fun game!! Update: What is wrong with Map 12-5?? We still need all 3 stars!! We have 513/516. Map 12-5 won't allow you to win :( Very upset about this. Been trying since you added these levels! PLEASE FIX.
This is the most challenging game we've ever played. We can't put our phone down. Love it.
This game is super great tbh and offers so many challenging but still fun levels (without having to pay anything!). We're on level 4-8 now.
