Update — after the late Sept 2023 update, the number graph mini-puzzles are extremely fuzzy; difficult to read the numbers Pros: -Very large levels -Different from most match-3 games -Fun story integration -Challenging -Interesting mini-puzzles in & out of levels Cons: -PLEASE, either remove the super-annoying full-screen, unskippable ad after every level, or give a $1 or $2 option to make them go away, because they really are terrible! -Cannot go back to levels, which is frustrating. We really enjoy clearing the maps entirely, using strategy to get all the objectives, but end up having to focus on primary objective & that’s about all. -The font on the map is ridiculously tiny, & if you zoom in on the map, which is not done via gesture, but a slow + button, it resizes when you exit it -Mini-puzzle game instructions are vague/confusing Lastly, please add Runefall 2 to the app store!
This is our absolute favorite game yet we are stuck. We have overturned every square and cannot find the rope. We would love some help please. Would be nice to be able to have a clue option available. We love this game.

This is the most creative and interesting match 3 game we’ve ever seen! There are some puzzles that aren’t match 3 as well. We haven’t had any trouble with ads locking things up and we have been watching lots of ads to get more turns because we want to complete every board 100% and not just meet the goals. We don’t find it to be a big deal to watch ads to get more turns and helpful bonuses so we don’t spend a ton of real money. We haven’t spent money yet and we’re progressing nicely. We will buy something eventually because games this good deserve the support so they can keep making content. There are a lot of things in the game to help you progress like jumping and power ups so make sure you try things out and learn how it all works. The one problem we had was getting stuck on a board where we needed to find a hidden area and couldn’t find much help online. Go to one corner of a black area and jump to the diagonal opposite corner across the center and then check the map to see if any new areas are showing in the black area. And sometimes you will have to jump to a spot outside of the map boundaries. You have to "float" over the hidden areas to hopefully get a corner of it to show on the map so you can jump there after your jump recharges. Match shields to recharge the jump and match blue potions to recharge the power ups. Watching an ad when a present appears can be very helpful. Sometimes you get resources but other times it recharges a power up and once we even got more turns. Another tip since the boards are very big- you can go to the Options and Quit and it will save your game so you can finish the board later we cannot recommend this game highly enough!
We have been stuck on level 36 for over a week now. We will be almost done with the level we’ll get kicked out of the game then when we go back in we’re at the beginning again. This isn’t just once a day either it’s several times a day that this keeps happening. This is one of our favorite games but we’re thinking of deleting it due to this.
The last two days the game is freezing. We cant complete tasks or watch ads to earn moves. Will there be a fix soon?

Game has frozen on water system.
We love this game. However, Im at level 30 and there is no way to find a hidden object Torch in order to open last area. We have restarted the game 3 times, but always reach same place and have not found the torch. There is no support system to be accessed from within the game, so Im here asking for help. Thank you.
Again the game is frozen at level 1746. Im 40% in and cant go any further. Please fix the bugs in the game.
We do like games like this…. Having played Mysterymatch for a long time until technical issues forced us to stop and delete. So though this was somewhat different, it also had similarities to Mysterymatch we figured we would like it….. But it’s so much more complicated and it takes sooooo long to comlete one game… Im in it for the enjoyment, not a hour long game to just complete one level… That’s not enjoyment, it’s a chore. We still don’t know what the a Resources Vein is… Let alone finding them. Not much help understanding the game either. We’ll keep it on our tablet for a while and when we find about a hour we can spare we might play a game. Games just shouldn’t be this difficult for a average person to play.
EVERY SINGLE TIME you complete a level it plays an ad. Will be deleting.
We loved to play this game but we have play the same even 10 times. It doesnt save our progress and also gives us the black screen of death…. Not fun to play a game that doesnt go anywhere. Maybe if the game gets fixed Ill play it again.
The only issue we have is that the sign in tab covers our quests so we cannot see what is needed.
The inside game in episode 87.. Has a MAJOR FLAW. Its the one with hexagon pieces with multi colored lines. There are to too many and you cant reset,get instructions,or leave.. The background in that box is plain and its all WRONG. Please fix it A.S.A.P. You havent addressed this issuedo it now!
We enjoyed this game as long as we had it. It kept crashing on us. We repeated 1 level 3 times and when it crashed again we decided to do away with it.
Runefall has potential to be a great game, but the interference of so many adds make the game tedious to play. An add pops up every time you finish a level or some of the various tasks. The boards are quite large. Some in fact are a bit too large and we often have to stop in the middle of one because we dont have the time to finish it. The story line is interesting at the beginning, but with only the same three people that too gets a little boring after a while. Maybe add more people once in a while, so it feels like your village is growing. Otherwise, it is a fun game… Just a bit… Large and sometimes tedious.

,As mentioned by another, it goes to a next level when we close the program. Didnt use to do that. Frustrating mot to be able to finish a level, unless done in one sitting. Please fix it we used to really enjoy the game.
First few levels were fun for the novelty of it, but after that wore off it became incredibly tedious. The levels should be just a bit smaller, although some of them would be terrible no matter what. Maybe its just us but we go around in circles not making any progress. The map is almost useless. Especially when you pay gems or watch an ad to get rune locations and it puts them on a separate map! We even took a break for a few months and just tried it again, because we like the concept, but no, its still tedious and frustrating. Also, it should not allow you to fast travel to a location with no playable pieces (centered on a barrier which you dont have the tools for). We just lost all our progress on a level getting stuck like that. Its a shame because we think this game would be really fun if it wasnt so frustrating.
We love this game. We just got it a couple of days ago and we can’t stop playing. We’ve put some money into it simply because we believe in supporting game developers but we won’t put too much in a little game we play on our ipad. So far we’ve been able to finish all the boards completely except one that we spent an hour watching ads trying to find the hidden area on and never did, so our only complaint is having trouble finding the hidden areas. We’re able to complete each board because we don’t mind watching ads to get more energy when we run out. We watch tv while we play so when we have to "watch" an ad we just focus on what’s on tv for a while. We love that if you can’t get thru one of the mini games to open a chest or new area you can watch an ad to skip it. We really like match 3 games but most of them get ridiculously hard too soon and power ups don’t seem to help. The power ups in this game really do help plus they recharge as you’re playing so you don’t have to keep purchasing them. Once unlocked they’re available every time you play after a short refill wait and as you progress in the game you unlock new power ups and benefits to help game play. So we highly recommend this game. It’s by far the best we’ve ever played on our ipad. Thank you to the developers. Update: The game’s stopped working and this company has no customer support that we can find. Too bad because we loved this game. Update: we did receive a response from customer support and they have worked with us but they seem to be unable to fix the glitches that periodically occur in the game. We do really like this game tho so we’re updating to 3 stars (knocking off 2 for periodic glitches).
We tried to update and it wont show we feel we shouldnt have to delete it then download it again to work right.
We have had nothing but bad things to write about this game! Every time we spend money on buying jewels or anything else to play this game it freezes! We cannot get it to work again and have to delete it and then continue until it freezes again! We are fed up with spending good money after bad! We had a problem yesterday after buying 600 jewels, the darn thing froze so we let it stay that way for over 24 hours hoping it would unfreeze. No such luck. We deleted it and will not play this stupid game again! PY.
We used to LOVE this game. It was MY FAVORITE until the update for IPad & Facebook server will no longer work properly. Its caught in an endless loop to update, download, update, download over & over again. For a couple months now, we cant upload our saved games from Facebook server to our IPad. We can load on our Android phone but NOT on our IPad. The screen is too little on our phone to enjoy playing the game. UGH!!!! Please fix!!!!
Actually Im starting level 15. Why cant we get keys to open chests? The game just got updated but we are getting disappointed. It happens again and again. Cannot get keys after all the time we’ve been playing and accumulating runes and points. Is there anything wrong? Please tell us what Im doing wrong, if not we will drop the game and stop playing it. Thank you. Now we’ve been playing and playing and we dont think the counter works. Trying to fill the meter with shields, nothing happens, we do not get the points. We love the game but it seems we are stuck matching 3 and jumping from one side to the other on the map. Nothing else. WHY ARE THE INTERRUPTIONS CONSTANT? Why? EVERY TEN SECONDS. You go through the beginning with no problems. Once you’re up a few levels you’re stuck with either no video to help to get through the level or not enough gems. There’s no tutorial to help understand. Good luck to those who can figure it out.
Cannot sign in with Facebook, keeps telling us we need to update every time. We have uninstalled game for days and even a week, installed again with no success please help. We have been playing this game for years.
But we have had our game cleared while playing by the pop-up. It gives you options to get more moves or quit or start over. What use is playing fast to get more points, etc., if when you are playing it the pop-up comes up as you are moving and starts the game over because you accidentally hit the restart. We have had this happen several times now. It would be better if it had a 2 step authentication to start over. We are so frustrated with this happening repeatedly that will we probably delete the game.
Seems like a great concept but doesnt work on iPhone 12. It splits the screen between the game and our widgets screen.
We have been playing this game for a while and really enjoy it. It is colorful, challenging and holds our interest. We have reached level 199 but it will not load. We’ve been trying for two days. Is there something that we are doing wrong? Thank you for your help.
How can we overcome the glitch when this game freezes up? We’ve had to start from the beginning 3 times once reaching level 152, again at 13 and now at 70 something. We love the game but this is ridiculous!! It freezes at the screen as the new level game is loading. Map.
We would give it 5 stars if it had not just stopped playing. It is stuck on loading our next level and it sits there on loading…. Tired and tried, nothing. Loved the game till now.
We have of course experienced advertisements in games before, but this is a good game ruined by an almost constant bombardment of repetitive and intrusive ads from multiple sources with no means to even pay to remove them. Its a shame. Look elsewhere unless you enjoy a spamfest.
A relaxing way to pass time yet can be challenging too. We love how most of the ads give you a reward towards the game. Graphics are fantastic. We turned the music off but kept the sounds effects so we can hear the birds on the main screen before you play a level.
The UI in this game is not friendly for newer model phones. If you try to make a match at the bottom of the screen it will instead hit the app switcher bar, which will make you leave the game entirely. Also, the constant arrows telling you which way to go while trying to make matches is very annoying.
We had downloaded this game on another device a few years back and liked the challenge of puzzles. The graphics are good and levels get progressively more challenging. We did have freezing issues with some ads and had to close out of the game. No matter what we did the ad would not close out. We deleted the game. We decided to try the game again on a more upgraded device and the game seemed to start out ok. After several days of decent play ad issues started again. The same ad repeatedly played approximately a dozen times, running about every 5 minutes. Then today the ad variety was better, but the game kept trying to force us to download the game being advertised. There was only an option to X the game out, but every time the X was clicked the game tried to open our App Store. That is not acceptable. We had to shut down and lost progress on our level for the second time. The first time we were at 99%. There is nothing fun or encouraging about those aggressive tactics. Our trust factor with this app has tanked to zero. We can only imagine the permissions a child could inadvertently allow through such aggressive marketing. Our parting impression is that we will never buy from any of those sources. Download at your own risk. It could be a great app without the overly aggressive ad click mania.

We are enjoying this stress free game with the Peggle love,- like sound effects. No time to run out, no energy or lives to end the game before we are ready to finish. Lots of help by watching an add. We have been playing all day and have to quit just because it is time for dinner. We are 62 and we Love, love, love this game.

Not just any game gets the privilege of being our morning coffee game, lol! This beautiful game has lovely music, gorgeous graphics, and is perfect for getting the cobwebs out of our sleepy brain. It took us a few levels to get used to the fact that its okay to make lots of matches just to explore the board. We also like the dialogue and even kept the voices (usually we mute voiceovers). There has been a lot of thought and love and hard work put into this game. Definitely a keeper.

Im a match-three game fan, and we love Runefall because its more sophisticated than other match threes. The moving map, and hidden areas and puzzles keep us interested (except for one, which we bypass by paying with a few gems). We do hope future upgrades will incorporate more, different puzzles, especially in upper levels. We’ve only been playing this a few months, so we havent yet gotten to a level that we’ve struggled to complete, but it still offers challenges. Id love to see Runefall 2 and similar games for the iPad. Please make more!
This game is a huge upgrade from simple Match 3 puzzles. Its absorbing and lots of fun!
Buy not suitable for who don’t have time, actual one stage may take very long.
What an awful, boring, terrible experience. We’ve never played a game so bad before.
Currently on level 16 at 94% completion. Cleared 465 of 465 tiles. Opened all treasure chests, located all resource veins, found all hidden items. However our stats say only 3/5 runes. We think this is a glitch and will not allow us to complete the map. We love this game and want to continue playing, but Im growing frustrated and will uninstall if we dont receive some help. Please let us know how what we need to to do. We will rate you higher. Thanks.
