You can recreate the actual politics of the era – or not. For instance, as Great Britain you could side with the USSR to crush Germany – or you could disable the historical alliances and lead America to conquer Europe…

We’ve been hard at work making the "S&T: Sandbox World War II TBS" game better for you.
For this version, we’ve made several bug fixes and performance enhancements to make sure everything’s running as smoothly as possible.

We love the game but we get about 35 to 40% loaded and then it crashes it ruins the game since we can’t play it in our spare time.
Incredible game. However, it crashes sometimes, and by sometimes we mean a lot. Sometimes, it runs beautifully. But then it crashes eventually and it keeps doing so. Please find a way to fix it in your next update.
The best Grand Strategy game on the App Store!
We love this game. We like how you have complete control of the action, the random event system, and how when you play as a specific country the other side doesnt suddenly become unbeatable and your allies actually help you unlike the World Conquer or European War games. The only thing that would make this game better is if you could add a diplomacy system that way we can choose our allies and declare war on who we want when we want. Now we know your working on other projects at the moment but its a feature that other players and we would love to see. -Best of wishes B. Lawhun.
We honestly LOVE this game, but after a year of playing it crashed on our iPhone4s and wouldn’t re-open. Ok no big deal… Recently we got the 6s and thought maybe I’d give it a go again since its such a good game. We got into the app, which got our hopes up but we were quickly let down after it stopped loading our game at 40% and crashed and has done it every time since. PLEASE we’re begging, fix this because this has to be one of our all time favorite apps. Update: FINALLY FIXED… Back to its former glory. Highly recommend this now.

This game is very in-depth and the visuals and GUI are very informative without being distracting or obtrusive. We could seriously play it for hours. The goal of the sandbox is to complete the objective of your choosing. There’s a lot of units at your disposal and all the space in the map that you need. Bait your opponent with seemingly vulnerable infantry and once they come forth, encircle them with jeeps, bombard them from the air or sea and send your tanks in to finish the job. However, there are some issues. There’s no online multiplayer, alliances cannot be configured during a battle, and playing the game on battery is a very bad idea due to how quickly it would drain. Music’s pretty good although we would like more tracks from the WWII game included in this one. The last patch seemed to fix any instability or crashes.
This game has endless replay ability, what with the player being able to play as almost any country involved in World War 2. All sorts of things you could do with this already, but the developers only sweeten the pot by making the game extremely simple to grasp, but not a cakewalk to dominate in. Maybe in a future update, forming new alliances could be a feature?
We really love this game and have been playing it for maybe a month or two and we’ve just seen that this game hasnt been updated in a long time, we would very much appreciate it if you kept working on this game.
We absolutely love this game. Our only problem with it is that we wish it had some sort of politics menu, where you can form alliances, influence countries, and sign peace treaties. We would also love it if they had a pre-war start date to really allow you to mess around and change history. Like fascist France fights democratic Russia. But all-in-all, it’s a great game that we would recommend for people who love a challenge.
We would like a feature where you could choose a faction just like the random AI. What if you could play as an Allied Turkey or Fascist Sweden. It gives the game a lot more potential. Right now the game is phenomenal but it could be a tiny bit better.
One of the best turn based strategy games we’ve come across for the iOS platform. It has enough complexity yo make it challenging, but is simple enough to get through a couple of turns whilst on a coffee break. Glad we bought this one!
We love the game but when we paid for this we were told that we could switch alliances but we can’t and want to make random stuff like axis UK or France or make communist America so please add this to the game.
It would be nice if the player could choose his or her alliances. For example, during our Sweden game, we got invaded by the Soviet Union, and there was nothing we could really do about it. Otherwise great game. Well worth the 10 bucks.
This game is pretty sweet. But.. We play for days and everything’s fine. Once we have a large army and am about to dominate Europe. It crashes all the time and or won’t load. Every time our Power goes over 10,000 this problem begins we have noticed. Please fix. This is an awesome game. It loads to 100% then crashes.
Yay 10 dollars wasted we can’t play as Germany or U.K. Without unlocking it when that was the whole point of using 10 dollars. Game is good though.
Every time we are about to rule the whole continent this game crash and we are never able to move on to the next round. EVERY TIME!!!!!!! FIX IT!!!!!!
So we bought this game and let us start by Saying Im in love with it and absolutely love it. Its awesome trying to survive as tiny weak nations and becoming large or playing as the USSR or Germany just to obliterate euroupe. But we must admit to make this game better it needs updates. We love it but we want to be able to make a alliance or end a alliance with a country Truly stinks that we cant.
If youre a fan of grand strategy, we highly recommend this game. We’ve put many hours into this game, and the only part that bothered us was the crashes (which the devs have acknowledged occur on older devices ex. Our iP 5) that occur now and then. Other than that, it is definitely worth our money. Easily a 8.5/10 (with crashes)
The game is good but it won’t let us play. We go on the menu but it freezes for a second and when we want to load a saved game in it. It takes back to our IPAD HOMEPAGE! Fix this pease! We loose our mind when this happens!

This game has a fatal flaw. It will not load. DO NOT buy this game as of 12/28/2016. Our iPad is new and is listed as a device that will work.
Ugggg we tried we did we want our iTunes money back it ripped us off. We heard good thing in the reviews so we got the game we loaded it up it looks high quality buuuuuuut. Sorry ever game you load every setting u treat sorry … It will crash over and over we haven’t even been able to play…. This game used to be awesome until a fatal crash bug arrived. Every time we Enter any mode, it crashes as soon as it reaches 60%. Please fix the bug so we can play the game again.
Your game is amazing. We’ve played it hours on end, gotten victory with every single country, did everytijg possible. As of now. We expect you wonderful people to continue making this game better, and maybe even take suggestions from us, we don’t know. What this game needs to compete with the other strategy games like Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis, and others, is the diplomacy factor. We need to be able to choose our alliance (i.e playing as hungary and changing our alliance to say the Allies or making our own, or just going neutral) we also need to have like a message box, a more improved one. One that includes which countries have declared war on you or something like that. We need to be able to declare war on specific countries as well, offer non-aggression pacts, trade deals for military assistaince or resources, and other things that we just can’t think of. There could also be more provinces. Just saying. Also, the research mechanics are broken a bit. Countries research the hell outta the tech trees despite them making 13 recources p/round. (For example, on turn about 47 we were playing as Hungary and we dominated the balkans, took out Turkey and most of N. Africa, and was holding the Russian front single handedly. But, we had little 7 province Romania with 13 income at 5.7 development. We were at 4.5. (Which is another point we have on research) Researching stuff makes almost no difference. That needs to be fixed, it would add more of a challenge. One more thing, scenarios would be cool. (1936 start, 1939 start, 1941 start, 1943 start, and maybe a NATO v Comm. Bloc start in about 1950-60. Please take our suggestions into consideration. Even if none of these things get into the game, we still love these games and they will always be thr best, and never get old. Hats off to you great people!
We love this game so much but please add diplomacy and perhaps the possibility to play as partisans.
It’s great to see that the game is still being worked on and hasn’t been abandoned. That being said we think there are a few things to touch on the game. It seems that the AI countries have a steady growth in development regardless of their income, this does make the game more challenging but also unbalanced and unfair if you are playing as a nonaligned country. And on alliances, the ability to declare yourself neutral or or switch sides would be a neat feature to add in a future update. Anyways happy to see that this isn’t dead to you and excited for what you give us in the future.
Our friend suggested this game to us, and we wasn’t disappointed!
This is a great game but would be even better if the player could work with diplomacy. It would also be great if you could work with your allies and move troops through there territory and work more like military forces during the war.
This game is amazing. We just wish we could change alliances and although they were not part of WW2 could you add a North and South America map that would make us buy this ten times over.
So we love playing as America, Britain, Italy, and Germany (all aligned countries) and France or some country, the latest was Norway, was always getting in our way. It would be awesome if you could make it possible to have a politics menu, so you can break alliances, make new ones, and so on. That being said, it is an amazing games that is one of our all time favorites. Keep up the great work!
Been playing this game for almost 5 years now it’s addicting ! But wish you can update the game that there is an option to choose who is your ally and who isn’t !

We love this game. It keeps us entertained for hours. However whenever we try to play one of our saved games it crashes over and over! Please fix the crashing issue!
We loved this game but lately whenever we try to load a game it gets to 35% and crashes.
We love this game and we’re glad that you guys haven’t abandoned this game. We would like a diplomacy scree where you can choose what side you want or be neutral. We would love to see a multiplayer. That would be good for a future update. But a problem we’ve been having is no sound effects. We have music but no SFX. We hope you fix that later on.
The game is great until there are too many pieces on the board. Then it crashes every 5-10 minutes.
Bought the game last update and it didn’t work and with the new update they are yet to fix it. We imagine this is a really fun game, if it was playable. It’s truly insulting to the customer knowing that you add an update to the game that doesn’t even fix the huge problem from the last update. Please fix your game we’ve been waiting 2 weeks.

Talked to support. The app doesn’t run on 9.3.2 but they said to send our purchase number and they’d send us a copy of it for steam so it sounds like the app isn’t getting another update. Take it off of the store if so.
We like this game but on our iPhone 6 it crashes at 40% and that that really ticks us off cuz we just paid ten bucks on a broken game.

This game is cheap and not worth the money all it does is crash.
We love this game. Absolutely love it. We’ve played the other strategy and tactics games from World War 2 to the medieval games. But the issue here is that we can’t even play the game. We’re getting impatient because we like the game a lot, and can play it on our IPod 5, but that is so old it lags like crazy and we can’t get through the first five pieces of the game without waiting ten minutes every move. So we upgraded to our IPhone 6 s. An improvement right? But no. It’s not. We can choose stuff, play the tutorial and start loading the game. It gets to 40% then just crashes. Quits right back to the home screen like we never entered. We tried restarting our phone, upgrading IOS and downgrading it, deleting and re downloading it but nothing works. This is very upsetting so please fix it.
Your strategic war games are wonderful,and would like to see you all make more and please add a Antartica mod here too and add a World Map conquest and please keep on making these games to get those people who don’t like historical war games in thanks.
As a Hearts of Iron Veteran we have been looking for a challenging WW2 strategy game for the iPhone and we found it! Well worth the price for varied strategic fun. You deserve the 5 star rating; however, we would like the addition of diplomacy, a clarification of what fortifications do and the option for increased difficulty. Please continue to update and improve the game and we will love you forever. P.S we have never felt motivated enough to review a game before, but this has been a god send for between classes.
This game is awesome, but we would love customization, like picking whose on your team, to help countries like Estonia and Ireland! It would be awesome to put Germany on the commie’s side or America on the axis!
