Schmyr, also known as Pitch and Setback, is a challenging trick-taking card game that can be played with 2, 3, or 4 Players in Online MultiPlayer or played Offline in the 2 SinglePlayer Modes.
Play Live MultiPlayer on any iOS device with a broadband connection. There are no Bots at the table when playing MultiPlayer Schmyr!
Trump rules as Players Bid the strength of their hand for the right to delcare the Trump Suit as they battle to take the 4 possible points dealt in each hand. This is Schmyr: Hi-Low-Jack-Game, Cut Throat, No-Draw. The first Player to reach 11, tie-breaker rules apply, takes the Win and All the Schmyr Bits on the table. There’s In-Game Text Chat and an optional Game Timer to insure timely Game Play by everyone. Use your best strategies to "Take Home" the most points and "Make the Bid"! Whether you’re an avid card player or not, Schmyr won’t disappoint!
Schmyr’s interactive Lobby System allows Players to discover and join others through a "Challenge Style" Lobby. It displays each Player’s Table as an Icon Button with red dashes showing how many Players are at the table. The Lobby places available tables with the most Players at the top of the scrolling 20 table list, making it easy to find a table that is waiting for a 3rd or 4th Player to join and play. Schmyr also lets "Friends" create a private Lobby where they can meet and play by entering a shared "Friends Code", assuring them a private table to play on. There is also a handy "Block" feature that can be used to disable Defaulting Players, or any Players you choose, from seeing or joining you in the Public Lobby.
Game Tokens are required to play Schmyr Online, Game Tokens are not required in Offline SinglePlayer Mode. "1" Game Token is charged for each game played and can be purchased through an In App Purchase. Schmyr Bits can also be purchased by users wanting to play at higher valued tables. Schmyr Version 1.0.6 loads with 10 "Free" Game Tokens and 200 Schmyr Bits allowing the new user instant access to Online MultiPlayer game play.

Needs to include the Jick. The jack of the same color opposite suite. Which is trump. Also multiplayer could use some work. But otherwise is a solid game.
In 3 person single player the game will sometimes freeze when we lead and take an opponents trump jack. (On our way to a sweep and then pffft!)
It is kinda slow but very fun. Why the heck cant we turn OFF that obnoxious beep? 4 stars if you could get rid of it. CR.
Very slow, have tried group play, never anyone playing.
The concept of the game is good. Needs to speed up play though. Gets boring waiting for play.
Its not exactly the most high tech game out there and its super slow to transition, but the rules are applied exactly how weve always played with our family in MN. We wish the app were slightly faster, more updated and the cards in your hand were sorted by suit. We havent bothered with the multi-player version but we like that we can practice against the computer using either two- or three- handed games.
Single player does not follow suit! How hard can it be?? Deleted.
Our husband and we LOVE this game!! We definitely enjoyed playing the app. Some adjustments we would make would be to arrange the cards in your hand by suit and the option of playing with a crib. Keep up the good work.
Good game single player mode is easy and intuitive. Standard 4 point high low jack game.
This game is fun to play and realistic. The computer does seem to be strategic in some cases. This is a good game to help you learn and to allow you to pass some time.
This app is fun to play. Our only complaint is that the game should have an option to choose how to handle low. In this game, low always saves itself. There should be an option to play the game where you have to catch low. Other than that, it’s fine.
We’ve always loved the game, but we need practice. Thanks for proving the means for us to do so.
We can learn the basics from this game. We can’t listen to a book or music while playing. That’s a show stopper for us.
Computer player does not follow suit! Also there are 5 pts. High, low, jack, JOKER, game. Also a full deck with 2 player??? And since when are you forced to bet???? This game is a joke…
