Shadowmatic is an imagination-stirring puzzle where you rotate abstract objects in a spotlight to find recognizable silhouettes in projected shadows, relevant to the surrounding environment.
“Other Worlds” is a chapter of Shadowmatic with over 30 levels in 3 unique thematic environments: Ancient Worlds, Music and Space. The chapter is available as a separate purchase.

Hints.
The game includes a system of hints. To enjoy the game to its fullest, however, we recommend resorting to them on rare occasions only.
Assistant Button.
The Assistant button in the upper right corner will help you solve the puzzle by gradually rotating the objects in the correct direction. When you press the button, Hint-Points are used
Music.
Every room in the game features its own music arrangement, adding up to the distinctive atmosphere and feel in each. The music is best experienced with headphones, and is available separately on iTunes.

This puzzle is great. We like it because its challenging to put together. Its not expensive, and the hints if needed arent vague. The hints are clear enough to guess the shape in the beginning, if you need to use them. However, Ill admit as you advance the harder it becomes. We had to use all the hints with one puzzle, which was ok. Because after we knew what it was, the challenge still existed to maneuver the shapes to match the figure provided in order to move forward. Id highly recommend.
We absolutely love this game and have had it on our phone for several years. We checked back often to see if any new levels have been added.
It would be nice if you knew before-hand what you were trying to make, but regardless this game is imaginative and inspires you to be imaginative, with hints if you really need them, and we encourage you to take a $4 leap of faith and enjoy this game for the brain-burner that it lovingly is. Well-made and deserving of a small investment. Recommend.

We love this game so much and havent been able to find anything else like it. We checked back from time to time hoping that there is a new one like it.
This has to be the most imaginative game Ive ever had the pleasure of playing, not to mention the 2nd level mind bending puzzle you will want to find and solve. We had to write the designers of the game for those clues, which added a level of challenge for us, which we loved. Our only complaint if youd call it a complaint is when will the next update arrive, we used to check weekly then monthly and now yearly our excitement is waning. So please, if theres going to be more updates could you make them soon. We have received a pretty bad prognosis and would really like to enjoy the newest update while we can, Ive been told these type games are a great form of stimulus for our ailments. We just really want to let your designers know what a great game theyve made along with a grateful lifelong fan of Shadowmatic.
First the negatives. We paid $3.99+tax for the game. We paid another $.99 + tax for hints. We also paid &1.99 + tax for the other part of game. We would prefer to pay at one time for the game. If we are purchasing a game the hints should be free. A one set price would be better. Most of the really good games we purchased are like that. The positives about the game. Very challenging Tricky Kept our interest Background music was nice Graphics good Themes were helpful In order to complete the puzzles we had to cheat some and look at the finish product to have an idea of what we were building. It was still all the above even with the extra help! We gave it the Five Stars because it was fun – a little too costly but fun.

Its a really good game we respect it and we love it, but the fact that we paid for it and it has the most simple annoyance is a bit irritating. Please fix the fact that it doesnt always register the picture if its not perfect because Ive sat here for a while before tryna get it when we have the picture right but we have to inch a little piece over the smallest bit.
Great game but what about the south paws who hold the phone in their right hand and have to rotate the objects on the right side? Should be an option to reverse the image with the shadow on the right side.
We came back yo the game after a while and even after completing some puzzles the dots dont shine anymore. It was the fun mechanic of the game but we think somehow its totally gone.
Just shadows? We dont understand. No instructions to use the game. We had a bunny obviously, now what.
Doesnt get passed splash screen on 2022 iPad.
If there are instructions, they are well-hidden.
We love a good puzzle game, but this is maddening. Even if you manage to memorize the multiple gestures required to manipulate the objects to alter the shadows its still far too complicated to enjoy. Note the last stellar reviews are from years ago. Deleting, despite having paid for the app.

We love this game – we play it over and over again. We really hope they make more levels.
Watching shapes made from shadows, making tricks with the light is perhaps mankinds oldest games. This updates a caveman past time to challenging, creative modern art. Highly addictive, highly recommended.

Our go-to time killer. Fun, intuitive, provides a challenge without being painfully frustrating. Unfortunately, we have a bad habit of holding our breath when Im close to a solution. Dont do that.

Definitely one of the best puzzle game. Relaxing background music, loads of levels, challenging secrets and so on. Highly recommending this game.
Inventive idea, easy to learn, simple to play. Our only complaint is that the control for clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation is finicky.
There is some black edge on the latest iPad Pro, it would be great if it is full screen.
Was excited to play this on the Apple TV but it currently does not launch.
Great game, needs update for new iPad Pro resolution. There are black bars on all sides of the display.
Unable to pause/resume. It does pause but the vast majority it restarts the game rather than resuming.
This game is supposed to be relaxing. But it quickly becomes frustrating and annoying. The shapes become so abstract, you have no idea what shadow theyre supposed to make. And if you do figure them out, the feeling is not very satisfying. We cant recommend it, and wouldnt buy it again.
Bought this app. Played it once for a few levels and then the next day selected it to play with our son and the app would not open. Deleted, downloaded again and same thing. The app wont open. Even tried opening it from the App Store and it didnt do anything. Very disappointing. Could be a great game for parents and kids to play together.
This game is something that isnt too hard and can be relaxing. Its very fun but hard enough that makes us want to play more.
Very unique and therapeutic like. The theme changes are fun too. This is the only thing we spend our spare time on.

We were actually disappointed when we finished most of the levels (theres one pesky one thats got us)! This game is great, you rotate pieces to create a silhouette of an object. Kept us enthralled for quite awhile. Please, PLEASE, make another one! So good.

We love this game. It doesnt really even feel like a game its so hypnotic. Actually the word sweet comes to mind, like playing with shadows as a kid on your bedroom wall. Time sort of suspends and wonder takes over.
Shadowmatic is a really good game and we understand the $4 price tag, but really, we have to pay another $1 to get more levels? If people pay $4 for a game they shouldnt be paying more money for the full game.
Graphically the game is amazing and the challenges are great. Great puzzle game.
Really neat idea here. Could be a little less picky when youre so close to the solution, one more nth of a turn before you solve it is a tad frustrating. But other than that, love it.
New Other World. We solve yet no progress bar with lights and dings to show how close to solution.
You need to fix level 6.6. We know its a lock and we have it set yet it will not align up with the loop on the lock. Both the pieces that you can move dont want to cooperate.
We usually like these kinds of games, but this one lost us quickly.
