We rediscovered this one on our app history from back when we had an iPhone 4s we think. Its still such a fun game. Its simple but the graphics are awesome. Always fun to blast little alien sea creatures for a few minutes.
We purchased this game many years back for 2.99 and now its loaded with freakin ads!! We didnt have b4, we are sick of this crap, buy once, and NO ADS.
One of the best Lovecraft games ever! Action packed with great graphics, making awesome combo.As much as episode 1 is great, episode 2 might be better with more monsters and new concepts.The designs and story are impressive,too. Need more monsters like,say, Cthulhu?Maybe add some spice like Dagon and his partner a Hydra?Couple of Cthulhi plus water deities?A Dreamlands mode in story would be nice! More episodes would inspire a trilogy in the series.
Simple to learn, hard to master horror game inspired by the writings of HP Lovecraft. Mild learning curve amps up slowly making this the perfect creepfest for when you want to defend your lighthouse from the hordes of the deep. Graphics are quite impressive with rain and lightning effects creating just the right atmosphere for late night gaming.
We didn't upgrade so we don't know about the ads thing but the game itself if gnarly. And the ads aren't too bad anyway.
Paid for the game to support the developer. But then an update brought ads all over the game. Thanks, deleted.
Paid for this game and it still has ads….. Would love a refund if the developer would contact us back. Fun game but not when its sleezy with its payment structure.
Once you play it, it's really addictive! The gameplay is simple but amazing, backed by a great graphic set at ultra on iPhone 5S, no lagging or whatsoever, this game is really great.

How did we not know about this? Thank you IGN Apps of the Day email for telling us about it. The entire package is a blast. A hidden gem that we can't stop playing. Finished EP1, still Survival mode, but now looking forward to EP2. We will definitely be purchasing it when it arrives.

This is a good all-around game. No crashes, decent graphics, fast-paced game play. Playing is a little too tense to call it a casual game but it's certainly not an in-depth gaming experience. Kind of the same concept as space invaders. You're on top of a light house and creatures are coming up from the water to attack. Your job is simply to shoot them, beat them off, or use your powers over nature to blast them all off at once. They give you some special weapons in this game. The first one allows you to use lightning to zap the little critters in one thunderclap. If you have a little time to spare on the weekend, this is definitely for you. If you're an intense gamer, then you might be looking for more.
