SHUMP is a platformer about agile armed animals ascending against a barrage of bullets, bosses and bombs!

This was a great little game, writing a review after (finally) grabbing a crown. We really liked the build up in difficulty, both from level to level (with logically spaced out shops), and boss to boss (and learning their patterns slowly over time with perma-death). Started figuring out power-up order strategies, and what to focus on when, and those strategies change from character to character so thats /also/ exciting. Theres some kind of fast-progress trigger for the bigger bads too, and that was a good little responsive difficulty. Item costs are well balanced too (especially with the shield generally only available at the first shop with the discount character, otherwise gotta wait until shop no. 2). Only criticisms are: we didnt really make active use of the shump itself, and took some careful observation to figure out how that counter worked. Might be because Im on a tiny device, but never had enough of a look ahead to gamble on too continuous a jump. Also fat-fingered the items so often that we ended up never using them, or intentionally wasting them away as soon as we got them. Changing that button position/mechanic might be helpful. Lastly theres a pausing glitch that happens every once in a while, which is usually fine unless it triggers as youre going for the rightmost button, at which point you reset the level. Otherwise super nice, thanks for making it!
We started play ING on the second day and since then every time we had a chance we would play this game. Lots of action and fast paced.
The rules are simple. Shoot+jump=SHUMP. The game is fun, and it is a challenge. Ill have our hands on this game for a while.
We love this game so much. Though it is very hard, we cant stop playing it. We think a good idea would be multiplayer. Other than that, we think this is perfect.
The first thing we thought when we saw this game was that it looked like a reverse Downwell. Downwell is a great game, SHUMP is also of a similar quality but more difficult. Thats not a bad thing, some of the gaps in the platforms can do some damage early on, but the learning curve is very reasonable. We havent paid to remove ads yet, but this is the way to do an ad-supported game. Youre not beaten over the head with them, hell, you can skip them very quickly. We hope the ads we watch add up to a decent amount, you deserve it!
We really enjoyed beating this game, the difficulty was perfect.
Its an amazing game except on the newer iPhones the selfie camera blocks the coins and score so you cant see how much money you have and how high your score is.

We had this game pre ordered a couple weeks ago when we saw the trailer, and when we played it today, it blew our mind away. Only thing thats bad is the ads, so we just turn our wifi off, but overall, this is a great and fun game, its very challenging to get to level 2, props to you!

We have a few things to say one thing is the game is kind of challenging for us but the more we play the more we get better and also we hope there will be some update thats going to have more bosses and new characters to play with and also at least sometimes when you die can tier be 30,20, and 15 second ads thank you Sincerely Joe.

It absolutely smacks and lifehack everybody, turn your phone on airplane mode and you wont have to deal w the ads.

We got this game not knowing what it was later it appeared on our phone and then we remembered it was that game we pre-ordered so we played it and now we play it more than any of our games it’s hard to learn but fun and addictive!
Only a minute or so in when we realized that this game is legit ( we hit the Remove Ad button instantly). Really solid arcade action with tight controls, and a nice tough-but-fair difficulty level. The pixel art graphics are charming, and the music is bangin.. What is not to love?

We have to admit Alexander did a really good job with the programming and its performance. Although this is a new game its still also has its errors. They should add a system in which a player can pause the game in resume later on in a period of time. Like if youre playing Mario you can create a world and then at any time and leave the world save it and come back at a later period of time and play it. The ads are annoying before game this grade doesnt really Bother us. Although we do have to say that they should add a system in which you can also have multiplayer. This game has just come out so Im not making much complain on it. Alexander keep making good gAmes.
