Just found out that you use skills by double tapping on both sides of the screen at the same time we feel dumb kind of proud but Im clueless about how directional blocking works or if its a thing or not great game looks great we feel dumber now its one tap on each side at the same time.
Its awesome getting weapons and dying but when it comes to trying out the sin stages for like floor 1 we keep getting the shooting red person which is kind of annoying every time trying our best while he spams heavy attacks and deplete our health little by little but still a great game.
So we’ve played this game over a long time, and we’ve learned a few things. 1. The tutorials are not extensive enough, however there is a very short YouTube review by Pocket Gamer that explains the controls and more about the game itself very easily. 2. People are saying the controls arent explained and you dont know how to play properly so you die too easily and unfairly, which if you dont know the controls from the game itself is true, but after knowing the controls it makes sense. So to explain, people, including myself, believed that this game has directional blocking, directional attacks, and parrying, which isnt correct. This game has stun blocking, and blade lock fights. If you block perfectly at the last second, youll stun your enemy for a moment, but this is very difficult purposely. If you attack at the exact same time as your enemy, your blades will lock and you have to perform a rapid tapping QuickTime event to overpower them. 3. This game is very difficult, but thats done on purpose as its inspired by Infinity Blade and Dark Souls, but knowing the proper controls helps to make the game at least seem more fair. So for some this game can be fun, for others its a hardcore rage game that should only be played in small doses if at all. We still like it though, even though Im not very good at it and have never gotten past floor 2.
Hard, challenging, unforgiving and thats what makes this game great! Here, timing and dexterity are crucial to victory. Casual players and button mashers WILL be punished. Graphics are great, setting is intense! However the gameplay can get repetitive after a while. The running/tapping game can get tedious and the combat can become dull since you are fighting the exact same enemy over and over again.
When we first downloaded this game we were curious that we would enjoy it but it didnt load and its annoying because we wanted to play this game but it literally prevented it from loading so we gave this game a 1 star because it is stupid and annoying.
Although the game is hard, it is worth playing. From the graphic to gaming mechanics, we can tell that this game has a lot of potential to grow! You are doing great devs keep it up. P/s: the drop rate for quality weapons are so low in this game.
This game is pretty repetitive. But we would really recommend this to anyone who wants to play a hard, dueling samurai game ;)
We’ve been playing this game for a year now, at least on our iPad. The tutorial could use a bit of work, and progress in the game should be faster. If the devs choose to respond to this, we have a quick question; what do the rasharom keys do and is there an end to the game? This game is pretty good, and we dont see why somebody would rate this game 1 star just because of the tutorial. This game has tons of potential, all it needs is some new features and some traction. We hope to see this game still updated on the future!

One star would be 5 if was better. We can understand the mechanic of taking the shards at death and getting them back where you died but to completely take your character level is stupid plus its only block and attack there isn’t even a left or right directional dodge.
Our 3rd review of this game. This game is not new player friendly, but once u get in to it, its awesome game. The developers actually listened to the community. Not only u can customize ur character now, they also added this ranking system which is awesome.

We truly wish we could play this game, but apparently it is not supported by IPods, even the IPod 6. Please we would love to play this game.
We somewhat enjoy this game for both the beautiful detail in graphics and also the somewhat Dark Souls difficulty. We would however like to see something about the gameplay changed seems like fighting is almost a little too difficult. Other than that please continue doing what you doing we would like to see how this game grows and develops.
Idk what everyone is complaining about, this game is great for an ios title. Big on grinding, but its great when we have spare time at work.
For those who compare this game to dark souls, you are not wrong, but you should compare it to Nioh. Also for those who keep saying that the game is unfair and the tutorial says nothing, well at least it has a tutorial were in dark souls games there is not, and this game is fair as long as you master the controls and enjoy its unfairness because is shows a great challenge.
Hello? Hello? Is this thing working ah well any ways, where to start. To all those who pass by or play this game here are our soundly advice for Shurado, Graphics~ we would keep in mind that phone apps games are crude to current Gene Games such on Consuls or the master race Pc, so we give our thumbs up for creating the art style of the game to feel like Im walking and run up these steps with a sense a ominous lost. We would personally rate this a 5/5 stars for being very unique design, Interface~ now we know all games have different and we all know that we like are gear specially are weapons and armor, we will admit that the swords and axes are very Intresting and gratifying when collecting, as said we like it when we can see glimps of history or specially differences on what Im looking at, we would rate this, duh duna duna 4/5 stars for at least the different weapons and style of art of weapons, though sadly Ill take one star off for no control of are armor. Control~ now we know Control you have to be on the ball point with control of your game no one likes to run in circles and yell what the hell am we doing now we like the small amount of Intresting in going multiple paths and taking a moment to walk and or run, that we find Intresting in most games you can only run also taking a moment to see whats around you and the visual work thats been into its simple and elegant which, we put a thumbs up for we rate this 5/5 stars. Combat~ now we all know in every EVERY game has some form of battling or combat phase, we now our though on combat was its very simple, you swipe or tap to slash at your said Foe and they slash back in return, now we will put hands down the blocking is a slight wonky to handle specially when learning to time it took us quite a while to learn how to block and perfect block to repost we’ve gotten nearly a 100h + on here which is quite some time we put into for s game to keep us Intrested, we would personally say a different form of combat would suit this game such like free slashing that you swipe in any directions to attacking and send said stack that way like down the shoulder or in the legs or chest, yes it would completely take out take the current form of combat but we would feel like having more control to keep our interest in playing since said your fighting your way through countless foes and said only have very very few ways to fight we would rate this. 2/5 for lacking more variety and keeping our attention than just worrying about a simple block Leveling~ now now heres where Im nearly done reviewing thouse who stayed this long, we will personally say this system of leveling is Intresting its a double edge sword, at the beginning you gain to get Xp through killing which is sense able since at any moment you can be killed and have to start over from the first stairs, but you loose your level and status where you finished off, starting off with the basic weapons, now we feel like thats a good challenge but a bad one as well see you will get good at this game to the point you could be a master or mistress, but the weapons and count how many there are kind through you down a hole to climb your way back up since like reaching level 20 or higher to use decent swords such like a lighting sword that could have strong paralysis, but its worth noting that the monster stay the same level as you progress so grinding is easy yet dull we rate this~ 3/5 for a few noting the level and grinding but as well less variety of monsters and weapon leveling thoughts Vendor/ daily system~ ah here a good section, so here to put it simple, most games these days have a lot in system that rewards you in coming in and actually playing, now we give a nod that to get anything remotely gold you need to play a solid week which is not a hassle for us but for others its understandable. But the vendor that you meet that Merchant, we like to see him more often or she in this case even it, because see there a nifty thing where you can buy and possible sell items you have for souls or sense of energy to keep going and upgrading your weapons, we rarely meet him in our game time very limited since he is hard we mean it hard to find him on curtain times with out frying our brain in the day/night, we would prefer that you could visit him/she/it on the first few steps so you can sell now than rather grind to the point of breaking your phone or killing your tablet power to get to one spot to finaly get there, we rate this|~ 3\5 for being simple but bit tad annoying to grind to one person to get more items and gear and possible crafting supplys Any ways thoughts our current thoughts on Shurado if you keep that in mind then maybe we will get better games that are like this but more Intresting we rate this 3/5 for being able to catch our eye.
This game looks a lot like dark souls in a way and we love dark souls we think that this is a cool game however this game is only compatible with iPhone models above 6 which makes no sense based on graphics and gameplay that it couldnt function on iPhone 6 so Im unable to experience this game so unless this flaw is fixed then the devs better get ready to get more bad reviews.
We have waited about an hour for this to be downloaded, but when we finally get the app and try to play it, it shows a loading screen and has a message saying This device does not support this app. Even though our device says that it is capable. Fix your list of capable devices please.
Seriously? Even the three dark souls games can be beaten, but this hellhole of a game; cant be beat. Im sorry major bug in the game: first defeat game gets even harder and then you keep losing after that first defeat on lvl 1. We think any player of this should at least keep their characters lvl not how many lvls completed, but the character itself should keep its lvl. We’ve never heard of a game where you die or get KOd you lose all character or characters level progression.
Then, why did it let us download it?
After downloading the game, we tried to play but it said our device wasnt supported. We checked the list of compatible devices and our phone (iPhone 6 Plus) was on it. The game looks OK, but we cant judge it beyond our experiences.
How do we save the spirit stuffs when we die? Its still a fun game though.
First of all, the game is not perfect. It is fun and anyone complaining that its too hard the block doesnt work it does work. And git gud. You must fight your way back to the same spot to get your souls if you will Pros: there is a wide range of weapons. The game is challenging. Cons: you do not gain anything other than new weapons. Leveling up doesnt feel like it does much for you. Would be nice to have skill points. Would only rate a 4/5 but rated 5 because we think bad players are reviewing it negatively.
This game reminds us of dark souls 1, 2, and 3.
This game so far is pretty entertaining. Being able to parry and counter attack is satisfying, but sometimes there are unblockable attacks that still deal damage to you and can stun you. The tutorial could be better, and health should be a bit more plentiful. Some nice things you could add are: Armor customizing, New weapon variants, More unique demons, A variety of different environments, Possibly a tournament mode for loot, and secret loot caves. Would recommend trying it, a little difficult at the start, but once you get better gear and more skill its fun.
First off we want to say the same sounds interesting but this is a gem of a game. The graphics are really amazing and its pretty fun to play. Nice having the auto run and all we have to do is attack and defend against mobs but love getting the new looking weapons. Definitely worth giving it a shot and we know Im stuck for good with this game. Hard saying that since we have a few we’ve stuck with. Great game guys cant wait to see what you guys add in the future.

Im all down! The only issue is the targeting limbs part. We feel like we cant target limbs at all. Id add a tiny bit more depth and a tiny bit more weapons but these are nit picky things. This games fun and beautiful to look at. Free to play as heck but its worth it in its looks alone. Thanks guys.
We do like the game, but its rather annoying that every time we die we lose all our stuff and level. If that was fixed, itd be better.
We love this game! The graphics are awesome and the story is great too. We do have a few problems with it though. The tutorial doesnt explain how to use the directional blocking aspect. We feel as though there might be a directional attack feature as well, but the tutorial also doesnt explain that. Those are really the only problems we have with the game. We do suggest adding armor customizations though. Maybe choosing between male and female too. And flame colors. Other than that, great game. Love it!
Its beautiful the graphics are amazing, But its way to easy…. The hallways u go down are all the same but different attackers. Change it up.
The game is great the graphics are amazing and the fights are awesome but we have two problems one Im not gaining any levels even though Im not gaining wisps for some reason can you tell us if Im doing something wrong or your going to fix it thank you.
So this game is fun at first has an interesting concept BUT the thing is that they make the tutorial WAY to easy so that when you make it to the second floor / level you go in very cocky thinking well is going to be easy then you die right off the bat the landscape was pretty cool and we like how its on the western market thats pretty much it.

This game tries to be Dark Souls with a touch of infinity blade bit fails spectacularly. There is not shop rendering the souls basically useless and the loot box system does not fit this style of game. Very little thought went into this.
We love the concept and the idea of the game. This game can have so much potential. Its too bad it was poorly executed. The developers should have worked more on the games mechanics and rendering before its launch.
A half-baked Inifinity Blade wannabe. The weapons are boring. The enemies lack variation. The levels are incredibly repetitive. The gameplay is monotonous. You cant dodge attacks, only block. The tutorial leaves much to be desired. If youve played Infinity Blade, this will feel like a cheap, unfinished knockoff.
