A Glimpse into Skip Solitaire
Skip Solitaire is the ultimate sequencing card game. Get in the competitive spirit with the Skip Solitaire card game where players skilfully build their own stacks of sequentially numbered, ascending cards.
Skip Solitaire game objective is the players in the game look forward to discarding all the cards in their stock stack as quickly as possible. The first player to do so wins the game.
The deck consists of 162 cards, twelve each of the numbers 1 through 12 and eighteen Skip Solitaire wild cards which may be played as any number.
To begin the game, players are dealt the same amount of cards face down into what becomes their personal Stockpile. During play, they draw from a central Draw pile and work towards starting up to four building piles. Each pile is then built up numerically in sequence, 1 through 12.
A Skip Solitaire card is wild and can be played to start a building pile or as any other number, too. These cards are perfect for breaking up static situations or helping to beat your opponents. Use these cards wisely, for they can really help you beat your opponents.
Play with your Facebook friends, against the computer, against your friends in local multiplayer or with millions of Skip Solitaire players around the world.

Players in Skip Solitaire compete with their opponents to eliminate all their stockpiled cards by building piles in numerical sequential order.

We play skipbo card game at home ALL the time. But when nobody is available to play a game, we have this handy game we can play! Love it!!!

How do you minimizing in this game?
The online feature could be better constantly kicks you out in the middle of the game.
You have several Caucasian icon choices and only one African American female and one male. We have hairstyles other than Afros and that hideous hat. Please do better and make cute African American female icons and handsome looking male ones. Thanks. If no one picks those its not because they are black its because they dont fit how the black community looks. We also play phase 10, too. Do better there as well. All our family plays that together. Im going to pick the plain Jane, non-binary looking female you created for now. That is not a knock on the non-binary community, but if Im not non-binary, we want something that represents us a bit better. Yes, we know its a game, but still, change needs to occur. Some:screen goes red, numbers freeze and wont play, old numbers stay on screen after playing 12.
2.9 doesnt work well. Restarted, re download es. And nothing. Fix this fast.
We were looking for an online game to play with our mom and we ended up finding skip-solitaire. We were very excited but after multiple days of gameplay, we started experiencing glitches with the cards when it came to discarding, even using the wild cards. It has cost us the game multiple times and just recently our game completely glitched out. Also, when you leave the app the game completely freaks out and kicks you out of the game room. We really enjoy playing this game whether its on the app or in person. The glitches, however, are preventing us from wanting to play further.
How can a game have such a magnificent conception then be so totally screwed up in its implementation? This game comes up with innovations like cards you cant play, but maybe you can Play them next time . There are cards that will come out of one hand and go to another players discards. This thing is so sloppy and buggy we are impressed by the audacity of the publisher to put it in the public arena. Perhaps the problems are coming from too many people playing it and the servers are getting overloaded. Consider getting a bigger server,or more likely, some better Programmers..
As the other reviews stated, this game has had plenty of glitches since the new update that included audio, customizable chat and the name change. Sometimes you cant play your cards, as they disappear or get taken from you. As our friend and we played last night, we both had our audios TURNED OFF and we had one another muted, yet we heard a strange and loud noise coming from the game of the audio. This has made us very wary of this game, as Im sure it had to do nothing with our phones.
We’ve had this game since since it was Skip Po. Since the switch to Skip Solitaire it no longer accepts our no ads purchase, stopped letting us play our own music while playing, and constantly glitches. Examples are missing cards, or not letting cards be moved. It needs to stop asking for access to our mic, no means no. We really liked the ability to play our friends while hanging out. However all of the rest of the issues are driving us to find something else. Or update your dang app!!!
We grew up playing Skip Bo with our family. We still have a vintage set of the originals before they were sold to Uno. We were heartbroken when they pulled the app from the store. This was our favorite game to play on our tablet. We were thrilled to find this version in the store! Now we can play Skip Solitaire and remember how we used to play with our grandmother before she passed away. Thanks again!
This game is very fun and addictive. However we dont like the fact that there is one African American avatar to choose from, male and female.
This new update is awesome, we like the microphone feature added when youre playing online with friends. The only sad thing is that, this update doesnt allow you to play music in the background when you open the app. But so far we like everything other thing.

Why am we not able to play with friends anymore after the update?
Our husband and we play this all the time together but now we cant because iOS have updated to skip solitaire and our hubby has nasty android and its still waiting for update to come out. Any news on when we can expect that to happen?

We can no longer play with our Android friends! There is no update for them and the games are no longer compatible. We wish we hadnt had auto-update turned on. We dont play by myself – when will android get an update? Otherwise we love this game!
We really enjoy playing off line but we find playing on line frustrating. If a player drops out or closes their screen the game freezes and sometimes drops off. It happens quite frequently.
The updates include these pop up advertisements that are incredibly annoying. When one is not expecting a pop up its startling. This is just rude. Everything needs to have an opt out. This needs one too.
We usually play this game when Im trying to wind down before bed. We turned the sounds off so we can listen to our own music. Since the update, it doesnt let us listen to our music anymore. The music stops once the app opens. Even if we restart it myself once Im in the app, itll just stop it again. Id appreciate another update to fix that.

Sadly, we loved this app but this recent download has a lot of glitches. Cards disappearing, freezing where you cant play them etc. Please fix it and release another update. Its a perfect 5 star game prior to this last update.
Somewhere in the update process, the feature to listen to media (Radio. Com, Podcasts, Music etc) has been disabled. Once the game launches, anything being played stops playing. Please return that feature.
The game is actually super fun. Im just having a hard time getting over the ads that are not muted. Our phone is on silent, the sound and music is muted. Those pesky little ads just sneak that right in there!!!
We love playing, we play everyday but when we get out for a second it ends our game & also what are the coins for??? Theres no point of the coins lol. & is love it if there were more challenges to do. Im level 72 and we beat them all. Also we wish to change our name on there.
Before the latest update we could listen to anything on our phone (podcast, audiobook, Spotify, etc) and there were no issues. Now the music in the game turns on even if our phone is set to silent and it will not allow us to listen to anything else during gameplay, which is very annoying.
The game recently updated and now it seems to have a lot more adds than it did before. It also had a name change and now uses wilds instead of the skip bo card. The update allows you to minimize the game when its not your turn, which is nice. When opponents minimize, you can be waiting for them to return to the game. Overall its still fun to play, but we preferred the old version of the game.

This game is great and we would love the new features if it wasnt so buggy. We’ve tried playing games since the update and havent completed one. Here are a few things that has happened. 1. The opponent played one of our cards in the middle of our skip bo pile 2. Cards were frozen in hand and couldnt play ever 3. Opponent couldnt play a card in their pile as it floated off screen 4. Cards disappear randomly.
We want to give 5 stars, but after the last update we cant listen to our own music while we play the game. Before the update we could play our own music on our phone in the background. Also at times the card we placed will be stuck? On the screen it shows outlined inside where we placed it. When our turn is over it will take the card away. Can you please fix these issues? Thanks!
The new update took the sound away when playing the game with friends. We used to like when it told you it was your turn and its strange without card noises. Its fine if people didnt like that because they could always return the sound effects off if they didnt want it, but for those that did it should still be an option.
Its a good game. But since they changed the name to Skip Solitaire, the sound goes in and out. Please fix this.
We enjoy this card game and the app does a good job mimicking the card play. But the pace of play is SO SLOW on here. And its weird that every new hand is with the same people, regardless of whether they have previously quit and been replaced by AI. The AI… Makes a lot of surprising errors, we suppose to not be perfect but even like some real basic mistakes. And we still have no idea what the money that you win is actually used for.
The game made us update today (on our iPad) and now we cant play against our cousin using android!!!! It always let us before today when it made us update. BOO!!!! We wish you could select how many players to play against. Our cousin and we like to play each other, but the four player games can be very boring. It would be better if you could select how many players to play against. Also, when we play our cousin, she ALWAYS has tons of wilds in her pile and we usually get bad cards, like 2 of the same number in a row. We dont know why she is always favored. The 3 stars is mostly because we cant choose a 2 or 3 player option.
We just did the app update and we can no longer listen to something on our phone and also hear the sounds in the game indicating its our turn. We used to play all the time while multitasking but now we cant play anymore because the only way to know its your turn is to stare at your phone the whole time. That is incredibly boring because it takes time for other players to have their turns. Please bring back sound that works while playing music/podcasts in the background! It was the only thing that made this game playable.
This game is fun, but it freezes and are unable to finish some games. Also it would be great if there were options to play longer games… More than just 10 card games.
Loved playing before this new update. The sound effects do not work while playing anymore. We play the PLAY WITH FRIENDS portion and the sound effects, that make the game more fun, are missing. Also, the cards in the hand, cover the play timer. We are not as excited about playing this with friends anymore. Can this be fixed?
