Gameplay, music and graphics were perfect, we really hope they make a new one.
The other being Skyforce Reloaded! Generally speaking, the gameplay between Reloaded and 2014 is the exact same: 1942, Bullethell type. The main differences are that 2014 is a much more difficult grind. You can get there, buts its going to take you longer to get there than it would in Reloaded. It is a less forgiving experience, despite the game being shorter, and it takes forever to level up compared to Reloaded. Otherwise? A fine game we are currently grinding.
The controls are smooth, missions well balanced, lack of ad intrusions, good upgrades all make this a gr8 find for a retro top-down fighter game.
This game is truly awesome. We played this game as instead of the new game because we just like how it looks much much better but we do have one complaint we have dynamic Island and for some reason our score gets blocked by it so can you guys like please lower it so it stops by the pill.
This game would be perfect if it supported controllers.

Plz repair game crashed on tournament.
Ads got disabled after a day for the free coins. Bug crashes during gameplay. Fun for the first day then got repetitive.
This is an OK game, but we have it on the PlayStation and one thing we noticed its different when you collect stars and then once you go to upgrade once you purchase an upgrade, you have to wait? A period of time before receiving it. On the PlayStation, its automatically. We dont know why you all do this, but Ill just play it on the PlayStation.
We love this game and its companion Reloaded. Both have great graphics, smooth logical gameplay, well deserved rewards, you can spend a small amount of money to help speed the upgrades along or play for free. No ads!! We spend the money to support the sponsors of the game. We never tire as there are always challenges that are just out of reach. Ive done pretty good but our goals are far beyond pretty good. It Is Amazing.
This game was so ahead of its time we wish there wasnt another one. The graphics were amazing as well as the game layout. We would love to see a future game just like this by you guys.
Definitely recommend this game to those who like planes and challenges. The graphics are really great and some of the bosses hype us up. Just beware on level 5 and your straight.
But it need more update for many players still now example for mix version of reload&2014.
We love the game its really nice to play very good graphics and it isnt an scam like most games it just needs an update on the plane and the game would be even more awesome.
Rewards are not working all the time.
We recently redownload Sky Force and it brings back a lot of memories. Played this a lot back then. We didnt complete the whole thing as a few stages we do not remember at all. You beat the first few stages, all is good, but then you reach a big hurdle. Not only does the difficulty spike after a certain point, upgrades become far too costly. The main cannon maxes out far too early and the wing cannons cost a fortune. Over ten thousand stars for one upgrade? Why? It doesnt help that you cant watch a video to double your stars unless you die during a stage. Why cant we do it when we complete a stage? Furthermore, we never seem to get any cards. And the cards we do get are the same ones all over again.
Played this game on our brothers ps5 with a controller. Would love to play on our iPad with a controller as well. Wish it was supported.
To the people complaining about the freemium model. Developers have to make a living, too. Yes, we missed the days where you paid one price and had access to the whole game. But, you make the choice. Enjoy it for what you want to, and drop it after. The developers will get the message. Nice graphics and a fun game. Have to have a lot of patience if you don't want to pay. But it is want it is. We enjoyed it while it lasted.
We love this game skyforce 2014 and reloaded. Ive been playing them both from release on our iPad but we played reloaded more due to the ship perks. Our double star purchase went to reloaded which was dumb first off because the ads and the double time we played yet the one time we replied to support they changed the email and sent it back when we said thats fake,they tried to remove it from our account.
This game is very fun. UNTIL you get to level 5. Level 5 is there in the chance that you progressed that far in the game without spending money. We dont know what you need to beat level 5. Im guessing maxed out everything. This level is so much harder than previous levels it isnt even funny. Its not even fun hard. Just frustrating. You should be able to slowly build up your ship as you go through the game. Not hit a brick wall at level 5.
Its a pretty enough game. But our ship stays right beneath our finger. So we keep getting blown up by things we cant see because our finger is in the way. If you visit the preferences youll find an option for the finger position to be offset. The game should give you the choice from the outset. But honestly it still seems kind of clunky. Sometimes the ship wont go to the edge where it needs to go, because your finger hits the edge leaving your ship in the middle of danger. Oh well.
Not good too much grinding from start.

We played this game very long time ago it's so much fun and challenging.
One of the only few games that Ive ever liked playing in the arcade scroll shooter genre. Its very simple yet very challenging and it allows for going back to lower levels to fully accomplish the missions. Not a lot of bells and whistles when it comes down to purchasing items which we appreciated very much. One time purchase for most items including disabling ads permanently for a very low price ($2) compared to other games with very expensive prices. This games has our seal of approval and would definitely and highly recommend it to anyone who loves this type of games.

Ansolutely Fantastic'! We've been playing this game the same way ever since 1978! It ain't alway's so dull and the graphic's are alway's a familiar sight for the video game theatre.
Fun offline game. Has a balanced skill curve, and offers a lot of content. You can tell the developers put a lot of work into it.

We add and delete 100s of games a year. This one always stays along with Risk. We dont play it daily, but we consistently come back trying to improve our ship so we can beat tougher levels.
This game is awesome. The gameplay is immersive, the graphics are great, and its the first mobile game to make us get out of our seat to play it. We would absolutely recommend this game, but to any newcomers: BE PREPARED. This game is incredibly challenging and overwhelming hard at first. Ive had the game for about two days now and Ive only gotten through four levels because it is so hard. But dont get us wrong, its not hard in the way that its impossible to progress and you immediately uninstall it. It makes it hard to progress, and you often have to go to previous levels to grind so you can upgrade your ship. The grinding is quite enjoyable as the levels are very replayable and will always push you to get more and more achievements. There are no micro transactions, which is often a pet peeve of ours with games like this. Ads are rare and are often able to be skipped. Overall, we love this game and recommend to everybody. Devs, great job.
One of the best phone games Ive ever had. Im a U.S. Marine and when we were deployed, this game was a huge stress reliever during the worst of it. Yall rock.
We really enjoy this game, and heartily recommend it. But Devs, we have a question regarding shields. We purchase shields….but we dont get shields in-game. So then at the beginning of each level, we spend more stars to power up shields….but we still dont get shields in-game. What the heck is going on here? What do players have to do to get shields in-game.
Lots of fun but would be nice if they had packages to buy bundles of coins at lower rate.
Both Sky Force games are top notch in terms of graphics, replayability, and fun. We highly suggest purchasing the 2x stars upgrade to speed things up.

This was the second ever mobile game we played we loved the game so much we decided to play it every day for 2 hours and we beat it.

We have played quite a few jet shooters before, and they were pretty boring, but this is just amazing. We will start playing and then not want to stop because its just the perfect balance of easy and hard. The only thing that could be changed is that it takes too long to recharge the energy so we spend stars and cant upgrade. Other than that its all great.

We dont think it gets much better than this for a shoot em up ! Its not a bullet hell shooter but it is beautiful to look at,has a great soundtrack and the mechanics are simple (which is a plus to us). Also, it has high replay ability due to hardness levels and trying to get the achievements for each hardness.
We've play the original on our old Sony P800 phone and it is one 9f the best shmups out there. The graphics are good, the rpg elements are also good, and the replayability is outstanding. We have game on most of our systems. We just wish the stars transfer to new devices though.
